frabel: thanks bros, but in reality its not that simple, so many yeears of hopes and anticipation flushed down the drain, cry cry cry[

quote author=k2039]You can't eat your cake and have it at thesame time.

If you want her, renounce catholism. If you love the catholic faith, leave her alone and let her be.

It's that simple.

Even if you guys get to marry with both of you retaining your faith, the biggest problem both of you will likely face is how to raise the children. Trust me that can get ugly unless you both agree on what faith your children will follow. I'm sure she wouldn't want her children raised as catholics and I'm sure you wouldn't want your children raised as pentecostals.

It's going to get very ugly in the future if one of you don't change to the others religion.

Besides, I know pentecostals have their reservations against the catholic faitha and I'm sure your girl friend will never change her stand.
That's why the bible talks about counting the cost before going to war. Essentially, it means begin with the end in mind.

I understand how you feel, not to blame you though, but you should have thought about this from the onset, afterall you know pentecostals have their reservations about catholics.

The safest thing to do is to pull out, the ealier you do this the better for you. A lot of years have been wasted already, you can't add more additional years to the wasted ones.

5. Better Self-Esteem
If self eseteem increases when one has good sex, what happens when my wife deprives me of sex or I have a bad sex, I guess my self esteem becomes deflated.

That point is a crap. Infact the article originators even contradicted themselves on that point.

bolaino: my friend, stop being sarcastic, just cos u do it, doesn't mean that it's right, don't come here and give us cooked up stats. Withdrawal is not an effective form of birth control plain and simple.
Just because you didn't get it right doesn't mean it's wrong.

Romance / Re: Why Is The Wedding Ring Worn On The Fourth Finger? by k2039: 5:05am On Aug 22, 2013
nenergy: Sincerely i don't know, but if were to guess i'd say its because every other finger already have jobs. The thumb does "thumbs up", the index points "accusing finger", middle finger says "f**k you" and the little finger is to hold pinkies with your baby niece.
LMAO

@OP, it is believed that a vein from this finger goes straight to the heart.

Who gives a fvck in Nigeria. He should thank God he wasn't a Nigerian, if not he will die inside that house.

But seriously, all this effort because of one life, Nigeria certainly has a long way to go.

@Op, obessity could be as a result of several diseases, not necessarily over eating.

I love you die. But I'm akagon (extremely very stingy).

I don't joke with my purse. The best you will get on your birthday is a 1 dollar card.

I guess I can't match your taste. Anything aside from that, we could make ours another nairaland story.

duffie: It was a three-day event....I've never evver celeberated my birthday but for the first time I did and it was awesome....all thanks to my now EX..I had three beautiful cakes..my birthday was on the 26th january, on the eve of my birthday I had a slumber party with friends in school and it was awesome..@ 12midnight they all wished me a happy birthday, I was so drunk that night...

Day2..my birthday proper

I had breakfast in bed courtesy of my lovely sister and ex-bestfriend..then me, my sister, her bf, my ex-bestfriend and my very fuunny friend had a very private dinner at a lovely restaurant...then we clubbed all night, we toured all the clubs in PHcity, groundzero, D2D, Everydaylounge, Zerozone and all...it was awesome....wwhen we had no where else to go, our cabbie then took us to a very disgusting strippers club near casablanca, there I threw my stomach out, the place was really disgusting...

Day3.....my bf then could not make it to my party(he is now my ex), he was working all through..so we had the most romantic and a lil cosy party between us....it was sweet..thank you so so much Mr.J...

End of story.
How wedding go come be, if birthday dey like this?.

Besides, he is now a ex, wtf, wasted effort.
