mayorkyzo: N740million for a whole community!! I don't see any ''hammering'' but cheat. Except the whole community is below 20 persons in number and they don't plan to resettle anywhere near Lagos. NB: They are being sent off from 'Lekki'. 14 Likes |

Good job from Inosson motors. However, they need to have at least two service points in every zone of the federation for better services. This will help them win their customers' confidence and increase those who patronize them. Nothing gives one more confidence on rides, than being sure that the maker/assembler of your ride can be easily reached and ready to serve anytime. 46 Likes 1 Share |

Great plan if completed. Hopefully, this'll lead to us being able to make our building materials ourselves with high standard. What Nigerians spend on importing building materials from China, Germany and UK, is a lot not to tell on an economy that export nothing tangible. 12 Likes 2 Shares |

By the way, I don't see how this is more related to ''business'' over the ''politics'' being played with lives of Nigerians by the government @ Mods. |

GloriaNinja: No doubt, But it can be well reduced by government's policies and regulations. I live in a heavily industrialised country (Germany), whose number of industries in two of its states outnumber what we have in Nigeria, with thousands of heavy trucks moving 24/7, but one hardly hear of any accident involving trucks in 6 months. Because companies know what will hit them if their trucks are killing people. 1 Like |

I hope this call doesn't endup just on this forum, but something done by the government to end it. All these are pictures from accidents that involved Dangote group trucks.

Business / Killing Of Nigerian People By Dangote Group (disturbing Photos) by PaulJohn1: 9:13pm On Aug 12, 2016 |
I was moved to create this page because of a post I went through on the Front page today: Man Dies In Accident Months To His Wedding https://www.nairaland.com/3284552/man-dies-accident-months-wedding The accident involved a Dangote group truck. Thousands of Nigerians have died, dying and are still going to die, due to the un-bothered governments we've always had and still have as regard the life of its citizens. It's rare for a month to pass-by without a road accident involving Dangote truck in Nigeria, but it's like Nigerians are used to it and no one sees it at as a big deal that should be thoroughly dealt with. Saddening, the CEO of the company; Aliko Dangote always have the ruling Here are few recorded accidents leading to death that involved Dangote group's trucks: *Lagos finds Dangote culpable for horrific accident that killed over 50 http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/4804-lagos_finds_dangote_culpable_for_horrific_accident.html *Dangote trailer accident in Asaba yesterday http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2015/11/horrific-photos-from-dangote-trailer.html *Neglected Victim Of Jan. 2014 Collision With Dangote Cement Truck Loses Ability To Walk http://saharareporters.com/2015/01/23/neglected-victim-jan-2014-collision-dangote-cement-truck-loses-ability-walk *How Dangote Trucks Killed, Injured Over 2,000 In 4 Years In Yewaland http://mojidelano.com/2016/05/how-dangote-trucks-killed-injured-over-2000-in-4-years-in-yewaland/ *Dangote truck driver crushes own conductor to death http://punchng.com/dangote-truck-driver-crushes-own-conductor-to-death/ *TRAGEDY!!! Politics / Re: The Menace Of Crop-Destroying Cattle, And The PEACEFUL Way Forward by PaulJohn1: 12:43pm On Jul 27, 2016 |
@Jakumo, as reasonable as your suggestion of ending the farmers-herdsmen menace sounds, the situation on ground has passed respecting herdsmen by making them to comfortably find another means of feeding their cows after they might have realized the farm crops and greens are less attractive to their cows, based on the method you recommended. Nothing supersedes massive loss on their side which means a great death of their cows without any confrontation, since the presidency who controls the armed forced is backing them. As suggested not long ago by a member of this forum: that farmers poison what they've planted. No doubt it's a sacrifice on the farmers' part, which I think worth taking to guarantee their future as farmers. If there is a record of up to 15K death of cows in each state of southern Nigeria let's say in a week, their (herdsmen) sense of reasoning as human should come alive. |

folabisi07: They definitely need to. Most Europeans feel the english have this mentality of irrelevant importance and want others to treat them like one 'world queen'. Just like they are confused whether to remain in EU or not, as they are not comfortable with the German dominance. The believe of US support they always have has made them delusional in their way of reasoning and how they relate with others. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Finally!!! Some youths are beginning to think. Please learn how to preserve your harvests, because that's one major aspect we are lagging at in Agriculture on the continent. May God help you with your thinking. Remember to get a rifle, local one or imported if you have the opportunity, for any wandering herdsman and his cows you sight on your farm. (Not encouraging elimination of human soul, but make such herdsman regret any unreasonable action of his on your labour). 28 Likes 2 Shares |

cbrass: It's normal to get curious about a type of people they've probably not seen before. This is news to the op probably because s/he has not stepped into a place s/he is the odd one. As 'developed' as some countries are, dark skinned people still get a lot of embarrassing attention and curiosity from grown caucasians, not to mention kids. 1 Like |

Not until we have laws and actually make sure they are obeyed with huge penalties, we'll keep having avoidable accidents on our roads. Countries with well constructed wide roads with side steel guards across expressways, and rides with sound engines and perfect body structures driven by about 98% of the populace, have speed limits that must not be exceeded and are well enforced. We over-speed on any manageable road we drive on, yet we'll blame the devil or one witch in our village Wish the pretty lady quick recovery. |

dainformant: This phrase has been used repeatedly since last year, and it makes me keep wondering why. I lived in Osogbo for years, but I never came across any weed termed 'osogbo weed' while in Osogbo. It's only on the internet that I learnt there is weed type associated with Osogbo. It's not like weed is grown in Osogbo or it's something rampant amongst the youth there (except for drinking). Can someone explain the reason for the phrase? 'osogbo weed' I even found a thread dedicated for 'Osogbo weed' https://www.nairaland.com/2805837/when-osogbo-weed-circulating-system Even on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aB7m_L9N5IU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NqeaLdraCF8 WTH
