yap doing some research 2day got your method using a vpn software from tweak ware. I am now thinking of whether of either to use MTN OR GLO BIS because GLO BIS require no software or paying for premium acount, just the configuration on your modem and you are good to go. Tanx for your contribution

the vpn is a pc software not sure about etisalat but you can use glo Bis to browse, if you can create a personal configuration with the apn: blackberry.net on your ipad

i think the cheapest means of browsing now on pc is using all Blackberry BIS plans, MTN,AIRTEL and now this year Glo BIS plans can be used to browse on pc but i have not seen anyone using etisalat, Like the Glo BIS just cost #1500 to subcribe and you get 3gig bundle, you now do some little configuration on your modem and enjoy your browsing

WORK WITH PC &

ANY SOFTWARE
=> For PC:- Insert Your
Modem and Configure it as
stated below:
From your Modem
Software, Click on
"Tools" then "Options"
under which you will now
select
"Profile
Management".
=> Under Profile
Management, click on
"New" and fill it as seen
below:
Profile Name : Glo BIS
Apn:- blackberry. net
Access number: *99#
IP: Leave it Empty
PORT: Leave it Empty
Username/Password:
Leave it Empty
=> Once you’re done
creating the profile, click
"Save" to save the
settings.
=> Go back to the
Connection interface,

Then subscribe to Airtel BIS of 1gig it #1200 and requires no special configuration to use, you just put the Apn: internet.ng.airtel.com and username and password would be internet, save it and you are good to go.

pls i have a similar tab, it is android mid tablet pc but it has no sim slot can you teach me how to configure it so i browse on it with my modem am going to the cafe everyday to use wifi is costly, so i want to use my modem with BIS plan on it.

personal vpn? Hw? Cos av just tried it by removing my Mtn card from my BB, inserted it into a modem then connected to my pc though it shows connected bt page refused to load. Can someone take me tru d step by step on hw to go about it. Tanks

just go to tweakwarevpn dotnet,download d vpn software and use it with your BIS, After registering at tweakware vpn you need to upgrade to a premium acount you use $3 payable through LR to upgrade to premium acount, next u download the vpn software, install it on your pc,open it type your username and pasword, go to settings,tick or click use proxy for tcp, under the proxy ip type 127.0.0.1, proxy port type 8080, tick proxy is socks, tick r.port for connect and type 500 in the box beside it, click main, click UDP and click connect that all. Make sure you create a new profile on your modem with the Apn blackberrydotnet
