"AKPABIO HAS CONSOLIDATED ON WHAT WAS ALREADY ACHIEVED, AND HAVE THEREFORE ADDED VALUE TO THE ALREADY EXISTING INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT IN AKWA IBOM. THAT IS TO PUT IT DIFFERENTLY, AKWA IBOM WAS ALREADY DEVELOPING IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS BEFORE AKPABIO CAME ON BOARD AS GOVERNOR IN 2007". akwa ibom ayaya.. Akwa ibom ado okey! I've been to uyo, ikot ekpene, abak, eket and ibeno and they are all ok. But i so much respect uyo and its fast development. I luv places like etinam road, ikot ekpene, the flyover at itam junction, tropicana and ibom plaza.

Ikot Abasi Gas Receiving facility (IGRF) that supplies gas to Ibom Power Plant in Ikot Abasi

^^^nice, love the Septa Energy investment in Aks ,this investment has single handedly prepared grounds for industrialization in the state. All that the state govt. need to do, or subsequent govt need to do is site industrial estates at Ikot abasi axis where both Gas and the Ibom power plant will power the estates, and another one at eket and oron/mbo axis where the gas station and the mobils 500mw plant can power such estates.

What is it with this their white and black(sometimes green and white) stripes on roads ? I don't fancy it one bit. The road markings are enough for aesthetics and cement colour is good for the demarcation.

I tell you, Africans love doing things in the most cumbersome, back-breaking and inefficient way possible!

I observed people doing lawn care in one of the major hotels in Lagos. They had machetes,hoes and did more of excavating the grass,than trimming it low

When i asked why they couldn't just buy a lawn mower which could actually save money as just one man could do the job in a clean and professional way,the Hotel manager told me that was being too "Oyinbo" ! To cut grass for landscaping does not require having a lawn mower he said!
