Propaganda cum propagandum. Monies have changed hand. After almost a month? How long does it take to verify the legitimacy or otherwise of a transaction? How can a legitimate deal be made by flying cash around undocumented without the presence of senior officials from the office of the National Security Adviser nor Ministry of Defense nor any of the Service Chiefs. What kind of a deal that will contravene the laws of Money laundering and the CBN cashless policy.. What kind of a "legitimate" deal that will use a private jet belonging to a "Pastor" and Jonathan's ally, ex Armed robber(lols) and controversial figure rather than one of the over 12Presidential Jet? Very funny

It doesn't add up at all. This Jonathanians are not smart at all.

Why was a legitimate transaction done with cash? Why it now that SA confirms the transaction as legitimate after aĺl this time? Questions...

But they just confirm that the deal was legitimate assuming this story is true. SA made so much noise about this deal when they have not completed investigation, so we should demand an apology from them.

You don't ship cash into another mans country, claiming to be buying weapons.
If they are doing such Bizz on SA soil why not inform them Beforehand.

Anybody with half a brain knows SA were just playing geo-politics.
Most Nigerians are not that mentally sophisticated to make the accurate deduction from the saga.
The ones that are a little bit smart have being blinded by political bias.
On a normal day; that arms purchase would have gone through smoothly.
GEJ should make the SAns pay for the embarassment one way or the other.

I know South Africans are pained about the dead of many of their citizens in the collapse of the Synagogue building in Nigeria. We honestly sympathize with them. It's terrible the huge loss of lives in the incident. But pls let that not be use to tarnish our relationships. I know the seizures of our $15 million may be directly connected to the disaster that happened in Lagos, hence your way to get back at us to portray us as rogues to the international community. That would be childish against an African brother who sacrificed so much to get you out of Minority Rule.

Your emotions and sentiments are clouding your sense of reasoning even after reading the article. Open your eyes. International politics is what is at play here.

What ever spin or angle is put on the $9.3m event, whether you produce a shopping list or end user certificate 1 month after, the Actors, whoever they maybe clearly broke the law of another country. Simple & Straight forward!!

2ndly, you encourage deep rooted corruption & other illegal activities when you move so much cash around. Now we see how the Niger Delta Militants and Boko Haram terrorists were freely acquiring weapons.

I honestly wonder why GEJ bothered to set up the so called Small Arms Proliferation Committee when he is the one approving under the table arms purchase with cash.

As for end user certificate from NSA, is that not who and where the same waiver document came from for importation of Bullet Proof BMWs by Stella Oduah and Coscharis Was it not revealed that Coscharis evaded Tax by not paying custom duties and those cars and also used it to import other cars which he ends up selling at High prices to mugus who come back to hail them all on Nairaland?

Nigerians are the ones digging their own graves. Learn from Somalia; Sudan; Libya; Syria and other countries who applauded bad things

Even a 2 year old child knows that SA is not a friendly nation , atleast recently.
But what did the idiott do?
He gave them Nigeria's head on a platter.

When i see how gullible our youths are i tend to weep for this country.

Why are we so easily deceived? Definitely the diplomatic ties between Jonathan and Zuma must have paved way for this new story for the gods.

The point still remains that the total process was wrong and a violation of the money laundry act so why cant we call blue blue and be true to ourselves.

Over N5tn in government funds have been stolen through fraud, embezzlement and theft since President Goodluck Jonathan assumed office on May 6, 2010, a SUNDAY PUNCH investigation has found.

something is definitely wrong somewhere.

So you still need to be told that money has changed hands somewhere abi? Joe will sure look for cover. I trust him.

#TeamGEJtill2015 you mean.

Money changed hands as how?
From who to who?
FG to NA?
FG to SA?

What stops the money from changing hands to prevent the event from even occurring at all, if so be that FG or who ever has that amount of money to pass from hand to hand in the first place?
Of course! SA authority wouldn't hv refuse any bribe then if they can be so attracted to "money changing hands" now.
