First of all, thats not World stage, Second of all, its a picture and you can stand anywhere to take pix, Third of all, you do realize that the podium used was well designed right? Lastly, if in a group photograph, i stay at the back-does that mean i'm irrelevant?

No offense was intended, just think through-i'm sure God gave you brains and you'll definitely figure this out

Argue with you? why would i want to do that? You obviously will drag me to your level and defeat me. So get it right, its not an argument, just had to show you your situation, if maybe-just maybe, you'll have a rethink and appraise yourself.

So it was APC lead government that stopped ebola ?

Are you in Nigeria at all ?

Certainly GEJ cannot take credit for it because it was Nigerians and not Fashola or GEJ that stopped Ebola.

Even conductor dey carry sanitizers, do you think that is Fashola's doing ?
Fashola created the awareness, you can't deny that. He or any governor can't take credit solely but they managed their states well and got the people to do what they needed them to do. Both Governors did a very good job while Jonathan was busy in front of cameras.

Jonathan is trying very hard to reap where he did not sow. What a shame. Since there is nothing to support his interest, he is asking for neutrality as if Ebola just walked away on its own.

This Clueless Leadership must be voted out.

If Ebola had come in through other states other than Lagos or Rivers state, it would have spread like wild fire. The proactive governors of those states, that of Lagos especially, was going about with his Commisioner of Health and health workers whom he was able to recall in the face of their strike.

It takes a good leadership to gain the said people's support. If the government of the said states didn't take appropriate steps and action, we would have been in serious health crisis. Its a lot about leadership too. Thank God so much too.

Credit to the people and their instincts to practice safer hygiene, not be as friendly to touch one another and running from the health care workers who were the primary source of the spread of ebola and not withsatnding that they are the same health care workers empowered by the government .. and so the credit of their failures to contain it among their proffesional wisdom and government support, that credit goes to the government.... The real credit goes to the people whos instincts worked in their favour

Anyways people, if the president cannot take glory for curbing ebola in 9ja, then, in the same vain, u cannot hold him responsible 4 d ills in the country.

@Atmmachine, must u remain a child 4ever? Y take all ds empty space at 4am just to type a full stop?
I believe you will prefer we call him Emperor President instead of Mr president right?

Exactly did this daft and incompetent man did to curb Ebola in Nigeria?

The useless man lied to us back in April that the FG was ready for ebola with ebola vaccine that doesn't exist, they let Sawyer into Nigeria with ebola...
Lagos state funded the whole effort in Lagos with Lagos taxpayers money while the clowns were running around lying about releasing N200 million that didn't show us till the whole thing was over.

Ebola entered Nigeria in July and the daft I don't give a damn worthless loser didn't release the money till September, that was months after the Lagos state house of assembly released money for Fashola to build isolation units and fight ebola which he did successfully..

Just like Amaechi said, If we were waiting for that N200 million, Ebola would have spread all over the country.

This worthless and incompetent clown really need to STFU sometimes..

so maybe the governors in other state where proactive enough to prevent it from entering their state! its difficult to figure out some of you think, everybody fought against ebola, the banks installed sanitizers, schools... everywhere, the Minister managed communication effectively, a Dr. lost her life trying to prevent it from spreading, all the Commissioners of health across the federation met with the Minister of Health to discuss moralities of curtailing it, governors provided facilities. My point is, Every Nigerian worked on fighting ebola and won!

I haven't seen Fashola and Rotimi claiming credit for Ebola containment. We all know those who tried to smuggle the achievement into their 2015 presidential election campaign just like #bringbackjonathan2015. Nigeria presidency is synonymous with trash since 2009.

That female doctor that prevented that Liberian man from going to other parts of the state should have been mentioned.
If not, other states would have gotten their share of the ebola virus.

Typical yoruba and negativity. Don't ask me how I know you are a Yoruba...that's your Modus Operandi and we all know it now. You think North, SS and SE take you people seriously. SS have seen you people for what you are from how you disrespect our president and son. How you people disrespect President Jonathan is beyond belief. Don't think any ethnic group disrespected Obasanjo in this manner. Good yorubas should ignore this statement above...meant for some of you that exhibit this negativity behavior which is becoming endemic with younger generation of yorubas...sheer negavity in everything. If you reply this post in attack, then you belong to this category.

Now to the nitty gritty, Federal goverment under a functioning minister, Dr. Onyebuchi spearheaded the fight against this ebola epidemic. As usual, SW and APC will come on here and cry...Fashola this, Fashola that...very shameless people. Wasn't the same Fashola and Lagos that refused the magic Nano Silver? Talk to me people...this is a factual statement. Until he was forced by the federal government that if he doesn't allow them into Lagos using "National Security threat" clause in the constitution...read the constitution people it's in there; Ebola became a "national security threat" and federal government was ready to declare state of emergency on Lagos and force Fashola out in handcuffs to protect the lives of its citizens required by law...you think this is a joke. The media has been hiding this. Until Federal government went into Lagos did Ebola disappeared because they had intelligence on the cure. Otherwise, Fashola, APC, SW were willing to play politics with innocent people, including gullible yorubas and let people die. Federal government as Jonathan stated are present in Lagos and Rivers nibbling this virus except Rivers is not making propaganda of it. All monies expended by Lagos state during the infancy of Ebola when it was not a " national security threat" have been refunded back to it. Let's get the facts right and give credit to whom it it due to.

Wake up people. Jonathan handling of Ebola, is the biggest achievement of any government in the history Nigeria. This thing would have killed thousands, leave people paranoid, paralyzed our economy and throw this country into unimaginable chaos. I was a staunch Buhari supporter and voted for him but today I have changed my mind. Jonathan till 2023 with option to extend it to 2031.

must u abuse an ethnic b4 making ur comment? if all d lies u posted above are truth so be it.....
Glory to God for whipping out Ebola in Nigeria...... and credit shed be given to whom God use. FASHOLA
