where did you see me commend obj for changing her port folio , I only corrected the wrong impression that guy had about her resignation. , and then you jonathan chose to put the fraudster back as MOF.arent all of them failures so whats the arguement . they gotta go.
And the world bank offered a fraudster the exalted position of a world bank manager? As much as I dislike most if not all of our leaders, I give utmost respect to few of our intellectuals who leave their exalted positions in various part of the world to see what they can do to improve this sorry state we find ourself as a nation. Such people deserve commendation not condemnation based on ethnic bigotry or bias because it is better than staying abroad and causing more harm to our already battered image through constant criticism.

And World bank also gave the fraudster a glorified position. As much as I dislike ALL of our political leaders from PDP including Gej I have utmost respect for few of our intellectuals who realized that staying abroad and criticizing situations in the country does nothing but harm our already battered images a nation. And some of them which includes Ngozi has achieved a lot even in the face of a very corrupt and difficult environment and to me,thy deserve commendation not condemnation without ground or condemnation based on ethnic bigotry.
naaaa , she has done so well to you , she was neer condemned on here . I say things as I see it. she is no hero to me . you may perhaps because you dont know me say I cant do better but thats not the argument . I created a thread about her tho : you should have a view

oh I see you are biased on religion, but have you asked yourself why boko attacks are on some innocent Muslim citizens and why it's just in the north east. My point is we have got an intelligence command in the country and boko should not be an excuse under gej

boko haram policy or government is purely religious and political. This they have not denied from day 1 till now.

They have resorted to attacking everyone now because it is only the beginning of war everyone can give the account of, its aftermath may leave no stone unturned

Let's all now encourage and support the military to deal ruthlessly with those enemies of peace and wipe them out.

I pray for the military resounding victory over terrorism very soon

Gej in his 1st 3yrs in office established 11 federal universities. Built roads obj didn't build. Completing power stations obj budgeted for n looted all the money tru imoke. Hmmm Nigerians should know their hero! Obj is not one!

Despite his shortcomings, I still see several improvements compared to Obj's 8years. I knew the state of certain several federal roads then and now, then there's the railway, the attention to agriculture is one I fully endorse plus the other merits Dr Okupe mentioned.

Honestly, we deserve more but compared to his predecessors, this administration achieved more in certain areas. But in this day and age, we deserve way more.

Truth be told, I doubt I will be able to get over Obj's sacking of the riverine communities of the Niger Delta. Government should be protecting its citizens, not killing them.

Baba has spoken. He knows he laid a solid foundation for good governance for his successors to build on. With that in mind, to him what Jonathan and his followers are parading as performance is a disappointment, because to whom much is given much is expected.

he laid a solid foundation like boko haram. So we should expect more from GEJ shey?

Chief Obasanjo has spoken well again. grin

I beg to differ. Those who live in glass houses don't throw stones. OBJ of all people should know that he is not in a position to make judgement on the achievement of GEJ's government. By the way what was his own achievement after 2 terms in office? I believe GEJ achieved even more in 4 years compared to the 8years of OBJ.
OBJ please shut up already.

All these are not the main job of President. I read all these trash all the time and everyone is getting tired if it. Every President has bult road and bridges, the number one infrastructure development was during Gowon regime, Shagari regimes. Nuhari regime alone built 3 of Nigeria's 4 refineriesn Gej has not even seen it fit to build and maintain one properly because his friends must steal or make N0.5trillion out of Nigeria every year. In any case as said before, infrastructure development is not the job pf president of Nigeria. There is Head of Stateship, Head of Government - ship and Commander In Chief pf the Armed Forces. The only dimension GEJ has done well is the middle one becsuse of some gpod ministers. The first qnd the last domains of being a President have been compketely lost on GEJ.

You're very wrong my guy. If it's true that his friends are the ones stealing N0.5Trillion as you mentioned then why did people like you go on the streets on a futile protest when he wanted to stop his friends from stealing subsidy money? Why is he trying to remove fuel subsidy? If infrastructural development is not one of the jobs of the president then what is and whose job is it?

Its very unfortunate that you are not a typical African to have insulted OBJ with such a derogative statement. Lets respect elders even if we youth has grievances against them.

OBJ deserves whatever insults he gets here and even more. I am shocked that OBJ without any sense of shame would even contemplate passing judgment on GEJ's performance when his own 8 years in power did not witness any infrastructural development

The rate at which some of you make silly comments is becoming unbearable. When did Buhari say Nigeria won't peace? You misquoted the statement of Lawal Kaita, a PDP BoT member, who said the country would be made ungovernable. This silly comment you made was the same made by Reuben Abati, that Buhari promised to make the country ungovernable. At the end of the day Buhari sued him. Jonathan pleaded with Buhari to withdraw the case. He did, but not until Abati published a rejoinder, withdrawing the earlier one.

let me breakdown the issue of power quickly . We have generation ,distribution and transmission. The problem with the power sector has to do with lack of private involvement and to do that u need to deregulate the power sector and unbundling it. Obj should have done this when he was in power for 8years. But gej has been able to kickstart the privatisation process in the power sector,I am sure some areas in nigeria will have their own distribution companies by now.if obj had done this then, gej or any incoming govt would have found it easier to continue. But right now the process is just starting. There are complex analysis about it,maybe someone can explain it better . But if gej had laid a solid foundation ,nigeria would not have some of the problems they are facing now.
Am aware of the process and procedures but what am after now is the achieved result so far,now we pay more than double what we pay during objs regime and yet we were served the same epileptic power supply as same during objs regime..so who is deceiving who?? Why not produce the product before price tagging it..that guy in aso villa has no conscience of any form,he doesn't care about the poor masses..
