Hmm! It's a deed that has been done. A miscalculation maybe. The truth is that it's gonna be a difficult 4Yrs for the south east. Igbos should come together and develop their states. There is no reason why they should keep rolling on the floor and licking their opposition's butt. Be strong. This is the best time more than ever to prove their worth to their people and the country as well. 2 Likes |

jcccccc: Wen I discovered that u use capital letters to type ur comments, then I know that u will say something that wil tell us how dummy and cheap ur brain is..... U better go and open ur Biafra forum now,,, with ur myopic brain, don't u know that majority of MOD are igbo, despite that seun is yoruba, seun isn't tribalist, but we Nigeria need to curb ourselves, talk sense to ourselves, cuz we are one Nigeria, the truth has to be told, "wen u c two brothers coming out of the room wil smile face laughing, that's mean they are not serious cuz they didn't talk something sensible inside " but wen u c them with frowned face, that means they discussed something tangible that will move them forward , igbos are our brother, and we need to talk to them in a reasonable manner, so that they can stop hating their brothers(Hausa and yoruba).....we are together, we need to call ourselves to order, not that we are abusing igbo, but we want them to change their way to better, cuz we live together, if we can tell ourselves thy truth, then why are we together?, we cannot see our brother doing something wrong, that we can't caution them,,,... Yoruba love both Hausa and igbo equally, but for igbo to show some kind of hatered to other tribes is Wat we can't accept...... Sorry for my grammar, I can't adjust it. 10 Likes |

Toktee:Northerners voted en mass for Buhari in 2011, still Goodluck formed an inclusive government. In fact, Northerners were more in Jonathan's government than the SW, whom, along with SS and SE overwhelmingly voted for him. If nigeria no kill igbos, igbos go kill nigeria. Igbos go to your region and invest. Hausas invest in north, Yoruba invest in west. igbo invest in East. Case close, and the will be peace. Nigeria should be a confederation. Tribal hatrad will go, the fear of igbo dominance will reduce... 4 Likes 1 Share |

Why are you al hating on the Igbos? Personal i don't see anything wrong in their demand, mind you, they said 70% ownership of property not in terms of population, if you have access to Abj property/investment owners data base you will understand the guy is right, he never said is must only pleaded for consideration following their contribution in FCT, if you think the 70% is much then you need to carry out some reasearch on that, at least my family own more than 4 houses in Maitama and Wuse2, if you go by such statistics per family or individuals you will understand better. 1 Like |

somegirl1: The country is not divided. It's the people that have divergent view. Recall that the same core North voted 32% for Gej and he won in the NC and SW in 2011. So, what changed? Are those in the NC too Yoruba or Hausa? The country will not struggle to move forward. Only the people who fail to accept reality will stagnate and fail. If you close your eyes to avoid evil then you won't see when good passes. The seat of power is not built so that all people should follow the occupier blindly. It's for all the people of Nigeria to see the change and direction of purposefulness in their lives 1 Like |

Cchuks27: Things will change when tangible government development reaches the East. There's a reason The whole of Nigeria is in Lagos. The movement isn't solely from the east and it didn't start with Fashola or APC. There'a a reason the whole of Nigeria is in Abuja but not in Ekiti or Ebonyi or Katsina. Things will change with time. Man must survive today before thinking about tomorrow. If Nigeria was a serious country, we'll all be all over the place looking for opportunity to make the best for ourselves instead of staying put because "I'm from here" 2 Likes |

demelza: It is either most of these folks are obtuse stark illiterates, innately just love taunting everyone, or they are inbred irritants. Either way, they are the architects of their own misfortunes due to the fact that they have zero understanding of mutual co-existence and territorial integrity when it comes to tribal people. And it looks like a genocide will happen again in that country, in the nearest future, if something isn't done to curb their suicidal excesses. Hopefully, the Nigerian elites will wake up one day and stop being greedy/selfish - and do the right thing, to avert something that might consume everyone. They need to either turn that country into a confederation like the UK - or just balkanise it before it is too late. The unitary system a la copy/paste US system is not for a country like Nigeria. The joke is going to go too far soon - and one thing might trigger so many avoidable things. 10 Likes |

The replies from most individuals in this thread doesn't inspire confidence about the future of Nigeria. The sooner we adopt USA system the quicker we can drive the country forward. Personally, I don't think Abuja and Lagos should be ruled by one ethnic group by default. Don't know much about Nigeria politics but it seems Igbo people are being marginalised here. 1 Like |
