Hello All, cool

Good Job you are doing here, I wanna ask some questions:

I got my CoE to Study Nursing in Melbourne, I intend to include my dependent (i.e. my wife and my 2 kids) though they will not be joining me throughout my studies, thus I intend to apply for a PR after my Studies for them to join me, they will be coming to visit subsequently till I graduate as planned. Due to financial matters, they will not be applying on the same Visa with me immediately, I intend to submit a form 919 for them once its ripe for them to apply. My main question is if we should as well consider applying for a PR for my wife since she has a degree in Business Administration and has more than 8years experience in Customer Service in the Banking Sector and Counting, if yes, what occupation does she fall into giving her Degree qualification and work exp.

Please assist with your response.

Thanks

I think your wife must have been here already sef

Hello Forumites, i just recently joined. I am interested in Masters in Public health in Australia.

I am a Dr here in Nigeria and My wife holds a nursing Degree.

I recently Started my Residency training (pediatrics). But the strike and unpredictable things here is discouraging. '

I really need Advise from Members here. I am thinking of immigrating to Australia. I want to apply for a Masters in Public health for me to be able to immigrate. the target is practicing in Australia. But since i haven't written qualifying exams yet, i am thinking the quickest (or easiest) way to go is by a masters degree

what should i do? take up a masters in Public health? or go for something similar

mrnilobrawn, bossladyMo et al, please advise

Sups bro, pls I wanna ask if u av an idea on how best to get accommodation(one room) around Sunshine Coast. I will b moving to Aussie (University of the Sunshine Coast) by first week of July.

How fare bro, here is my suggestion - look up online for a cheap motel/hotel or temporary accommodation for say, 3-4 days. Within that 3-4 days, you should be able to get a more stable accommodation particularly in a house share - I'm assuming you are coming in as a single student. Gumtree is a good website to look on. Good luck with your search.

Seems your case looks familiar,it all depends on your plans,how early do you want to move as masters program in aus resumes twice a year (march/july),which school you want,what is your financial status,the rest should be a piece of cake.
Let me just list the steps,since im assuming you are a busy person.
1.register with an agent that can help you with admission (pfl,bcie etc),many ppl dont like the fact that they have to pay,but i think its worth it.a school under svp MUST be chosen.
2.once you get the admission,pay part of ur tuition fees to get a CoE.
3.once your CoE is out,do your medicals ,notarise your documents,get immunised ,pay for your health cover (for you and your wife)and go apply for the visa...573svp.
4 wait till visa is granted....book tickets and travel with your wife,depending on what you filled on your visa forms.
5.dont forget to use IOM for your travel ticket booking.
6.share your story on this forum

KEY
CoE =confirmation of enrollment
Svp =streamlined visa processing
IOM =International organisation for migration
PFL =preparation for life
BCIE =check google....lol

I will suggest that you look for school in regional area and let your wife start the PR processing, I think it gets faster with nursing than doctors.

Upload original docs, as long as they are coloured...no need to certify. Also upload your university transcripts alongside your certificate.

If you get everything done and submitted, you can expect your visas by late June to mid July.

Bossladymo, very comprehensive info from you. Shows not just how vast ur knowledge is about the subject matter but also communication and distribution. Keep up the good work and keep amassing blessings from God.

You try wella for ur explanation ooo.
Kudos....

@DrDele,
There is the option of searching for admission yourself without the help of Pfl or any agent, depending on the school ofcourse. (Some schools now insist on using agents once u are applying frm Nig)

I don't and that is because I am rooted on my own side...ACS. If you want sb to go check ur concerns...u must be ready to pay oh. I don't even have any time for agent-kind-of assistance right now.

If ur first degree is a five-yr program, hide ur M.Sc and claim work experience for all work done after B.Sc. Check with EA- Engineers Australia for ur skills assessment.
You have these points now:
Age: 30
Education: 15
Work experience: 5 or 10
English test: 10 will do, but if u get 20 the better for shortening of invitation wait time only.
