How can a slave complain
That's harsh. Calling a fellow human a slave, a 58 years old man for that matter is really low.

Don't you think It's scary and alarming for us to play a second fiddle in the first place? I don't want yorubas to get comfortable with at all. Something needs to be done as it is obvious the northerners hold the cards in this country
playing second fiddle was dangerous in an era where the only resource to sustain the whole country was oil. however nobody is buying oil anymore. oil is going out of fashion fast as new technological advancements are being made and newer and cleaner sources of energy discovered. one of the G7 mandates was to end the global use of oil. so at this beautiful time in our history the resource we have is the land. we will all return to farming and it will matter not who is ruling the country or who is playing first or second fiddle. and as for the hausas running the country, i really dont care. i see hausas as humble and simple. i dont mind being ruled by a humble and simple tribe of people. i draw the line if i am being ruled by a boastful chest beating tribe lmao. so as long as the hausa is on top, i personally dont mind because they are not boastful chest beaters.

I dont understand why the Igbo's want to die because of GEJ? What did he do for the East? Why are they after every Yoruba person. When the proper war between the Yoruba's and the Igbo's, what will you guys gain from it. South South seems to be much more matured than the Igbo's.

In GEJ government, the North took Senate president, Speaker and every other top positions in the country , you guys didnt complain then. Saraki is partly Fulani and partly yoruba , so what? On Sunday's you will all care your bible and go ro church yet you hate your fellow humanbeing.

I am begining to see reasons why Northern muslims are better than Souther christains. I dont see any Igbo man ruling this country in the next 20years as they are full of hatred your the claim to be christains.

The reasons above isn't still genuine, Infact with this reasons, it has given enough clue for the nation to know there are other motive behind not letting the vp get involved In the meeting... like someone said; whatever reason it is, it better be for the good of this country sad

These are really irrelevant excuses.
So if the President were a complete civilian, he wouldn't have been allowed to such meetings?

I believe the reason for his exclusion is not contained in this silly excuse.
But whatever that is, it had better be for the good of the nation.

[b]defeatist ? for some weird reason you seem to think whomever is ruling nigeria affects the common man in any region of the country. when obasanjo was on top what did you gain ? nada. when abacha was on top what did you gain ? nada. when goodluck was on top what did you gain ? nada. nigeria is not a civilized country and as such it does not matter to the masses who is ruling. the only benefit each tribe gains is being able to say ' someone from my tribe is the president '. thats the only gain. bragging rights. igbos most especially are entrenched in this bragging right thing. they dont care how messed up a candidate is so long as they can say ' an igbo man is ruling '. and sister ? thats the only benefit for the common man. so i dont know why you make it sound like there is a pot of gold to be gained from a yoruba man being on top lmao. and based on the fact that there is no gain for the common man no matter who rules ? at least give me a ruler from a tribe that will not throw it in my face all the time about how they are superior because the president is from their tribe. and that for me would be the hausa or fulani man. Oh no no no no this is a very big slap to the South West. This is a professor of law being shut out of security meeting by a celebrated certificateless mallam because he can not be trusted not to inform Tinubu. Why did the South West allow tinubu to become their arrow head. Now you waste earners, sorry westerners have worked so hard and the only slot you got is consider a spy of tinubu and shut out of important meetings. Westerners how market? Join other southerners you people don't accept . I am sorry if I hurt anyone but shi.t just got real.

It is just the beginning of Buhari's efforts to break free from Tinubu's shackles.
I said so in a previous post. I have observed that Buhari is keeping Osibanjo at arms length. Atiku is the de-facto VP.

The next shock to Tinubu will be the appointment of minsters. Some Tinubu's men will make the list, but they will be assigned inconsequential positions.

They will never be part of Buhari's kitchen cabinet.

After the Buhari victory in the April election, Tinubu's crowd were busy erecting billboards to idolise their god (Tinubu). Meanwhile, Buhari was busy setting up the basic structures of his new government in Abuja. Osibanjo was not part that Buhari inner caucus.

Even simple diplomatic shuttle to South Africa to secure SA support for Akinwumi did not involve Osibanjo. Meaning, GMB does not even consider his VP useful for such boy-boy assignment. I am truly worried for Osibanjo.

cuteboy2:
SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!! SHOTS FIRED!!!

Buhari fired the first salvo today in his determination to break free from Tinubu's shackles. This first real punch is the rank humiliation Buhari handed Tinubu today, when he left him and his motely crowd of APC loyalists at International Conference Centre, Abuja holding an empty barrel.
Former VP Atiku is his main man in this enterprise. Fashola is one of the key backroom brains. Amaechi is the Capone.

Watch this space, Buhari will not stomach all these turenchi about party supremacy. Eventually, Buhari will hijack the party machinery and push Tinubu aside. Already, Atiku is his right hand man on key diplomatic shuttles such as lobbying for election of Akinwumi Adesina as AfDB President, etc

Buhari has pointedly ignored his VP, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo during the build-up to the swearing in on 29th May. Osibanjo was either following Fashola or Ambode around to silly inconsequential Lagos State functions in Lagos, while Buhari was holding court in Abuja.

Saraki understands the message, and pointedly ignored the so-called Reconciliation Committee chaired by Osibanjo, set up by Tinubu to rally support for Rep Gbajabiamilla (the ex-felon) and Sen Lawan, saying "a mere Commissioner cannot summon" him. What!!! I thought, Osibanjo was supposed to be the VP?

Remember this was the same position Jonathan found himself under Yaradua. The main actor in that drama is currently leading Buhari's National security team.

My brother, Jonathan actually attended every National Security Council meeting. It's only when Yaradua fell ill that all that shenanigans of the wife and the cabal around her began.

Seriously, the more I talk to guys like you on nl the more convinced i get, that it will take a long time for Nigeria to progress. The main problem with Nigeria is because many are just happy to vote based on emotions and ego, live their lives without slinging too much into the future of the country.
It's funny how you would rather vote based on emotions compared to what's best for the country.
The more intelligent option is to chose the best person for the country, even at the expense of your ego.

This is the CV of the Northerners
1 Denial of federalism request by Yorubas/SS/SE
2 Denial of 6 regions division by the same southern region.
3 Lowest GDP per capital in the country.
..etc
I have no doubt we would've been practicing federalism if the house were dominated by southerners. Hey, why bother? Let's allow the everything to go to pots.
Anyways, my last comments to you is that the power is in your hands to influence the country's politics & policies.
Good luck to you.

whats funny is you living in a delusion that voting will solve nigerias problem. listen ? nothing short of a revolution both spiritual and physical will solve our problems. if you like you can waste your time waiting in the sun to vote. na your wahala be that. me ? i have never voted and will never vote. the more i listen to people like you the more i am convinced that the black man is actually crazy. in saner countries people would have burned down the country if their politicians are looting the country. you are here talking about voting ? i laugh in efik. abeg madam go and rest. you need am grin grin
