You have not mentioned where you are going to study.have you identified those going to your school?or studies?you want to know the right bank to bank.where to shop,lifestyle etc

You need to contact your bank. It's definitely not because of the BVN as it has been extended to October

We don't knw The expensive food items dere, we dnt knw if it would be a waste of time to take some food items, we dont have an updated idea of food items that would be allowed? We don't knw the best telcom to set up with? We dont have enough tips on things 2 look out for when getting dat private accommodation everyone suggets? Apart from reading everyday and plagiarism are there other tips 2 note on "acing" exams? What r doz "new" stuffs dat consume cash quickly what stores are we to avoid? Frm what they've seen with students are there other legal ways to make cash? And there again jobs jobs jobs!!!! We need tips current ones..just 2 give us dat advantage!. Epp!! Make this experience worthwhile

Try using the card tomorrow I am guessing it's just the normal eish of financial institution not being available. I get that problem with my First Bank atm card sometimes even today.

Then she can ask specific question because some of the things she talked about has been discussed here and the situation still remain the same...e.g school accommodation vs private renting, getting part time job, best network to call Nigeria with...etc

I just think that sometimes people don't bother to read threads if its longer than one page

Well I do believe Justwise is right on this one, it's only when there are changes to things affecting life here that one can add new things otherwise basically everything has been covered.If there be anything that anybody needs clarification on all he/she needs to do is ask away and probably read some pages back.it's only 131 pages long what of threads that are like 500 pages especially those that have to do with visa application. Yes everyone loves or wants new information but the old one is like history which only adds or is some form of experience.

Hello everyone, Nice and informative job u guys are doing here. Will like to inquire if any1 is going to cardiff unii this Sept or currently there and how is cardiff city generally.

Since CBN has some new restrictions now pls what's the best way to transfer maintenance fees? Do I withdraw all d fees when I get there and open a Uk bank account? Though, I dont know the cheapest nigerian bank to use in terms of charges or do I take little cash and have someone tranfer the fees to a UK account? Thanks.
