@ mr wip, godson or anyone who can help. I was instructed by nicosia university to present my documents for attestation at the embassy (cyprus) and I want to travel down to lagos tomorrow to have it done. Pls Just want to know if I can go without an acceptance letter, I have not been sent one yet. Will I be attended to at the embassy? Thanks |

nikdam: If I may ask, where you not given an option by the school rep in Lagos to help you out with the documents attestation and all necessary things to be done? I wouldn't know for sure if the letter will be needed but it's still advisable to go along with it to be on the safe side. |

@Itstyme Thanks for the reply, No, I was not given any option like that . I was just told to present my documents for attestation at the embassy before 31st of this month. I am already on my way sha. I hope I will be attended to . Modified So I was at the consulate today but was nøt attended to. Seems I still have a long way to go . Was told to get the admission letter first and then take my documents to the ministries of foreign affairs and education before coming to the consulate for attestation. Pls, how do I get a health certificate. Thanks. |

@wip7, Please I was given admission to METU Ankara but first I have to confirm my admission on the portal before they can send me acceptance letter. Is it compulsory for me to give them an expected date of arrival or can I just confirm without indicating an expected date of arrival? Please I need your reply quickly! |

The school has a representative in Lagos n they help all students in procurement of all necessary documents and attestation. All documents by prospective students are ready to be posted to Cyprus for Visa application by 27th July but I ll advise u email the school, I am sure you must have been talking to Ms. Andrea. Write and ask her the possibilities of the rep here in Lagos could still be able to assist. |

oyetunji12:Mr wip7 and others have said hundreds of times! There are very few jobs in North (or south) Cyprus. You must go with sufficient funds for ALL your tuition and accomodation for the full length of your study. |

Hi. Please, mrwip or those here, in ur honest opinion, which of theses schools is better in terms of msc oil and gas engineering, university of Nicosia or Frederick University, Nicosia? Also, i have all required documents ready for the application process, except my BSc certificate of which my school says it would be ready by August ending. My school gave me an attestation letter to that effect. Can i get admission with the documents I presently have? |

gadafi101: University of Nicosia is better in my own opinion. It's ranked higher than Frederick. I also feel the school is in the best position to let you know if an attested letter could be accepted in place of ur Bsc certificate so it's better you write the school and explain your situation. 1 Like |

gadafi101: Both university are private, the University of Nicosia is much larger in terms of size. The most important is they have almost all there programs accredited by the ministry. Very important thing you must note and for every applicant, south Cyprus institutions operate in a system that university may offer programs for years but yet to get ministry accreditation. After some years and the program meets the requirement then it will be accredited, however, some students might have graduated even before it is approved. In summary, Msc oil in both University based on my knowledge are both accredited and located in lively cities, so if you will be choosing based on popularity, age, size and web ranks: Then go for University Nicosia. gadafi101: Yeah you have 85% assurance you may meet up, as of last week the university sent me update that ministry has extended their application till end of August, so you may have to initiate the process now. 1 Like |

Santi10: The date you will indicate is "expected date", so is tentative and does not mean you must by any compulsion arrive on this date. |
