Growing up, culture and our holy books have made us understand that men are the heads of family. No doubt about that. But what do we say about the rising trends of women taking the bulls by the horns and catering for the needs of the family. Just read an article of a lady conductor and people were saying the job doesn't fit her. Well I've seen more jobs that aren't suitable for women, but they still do them. I've seen women okada riders, women baranda (Osoahia), Women keke napep riders, etc. lets be sincere, if we ask our selves or friends around, we'll find out that more than 50% of men nowadays prefer dodging their responsibilities like school fees, feeding, rent and so on. Whats even more alarming is the fact that the society we live in see it more like "he's a man, a superior being, so hushh, don't say anything". Pushing the wives to do any and everything for the well being of her family and to get societal approval of being a virtuous wife. So honestly do we all think that the ladies in question want to do these odd jobs, of course no. Well the women are suffering now, when its time to enjoy Being the actual HEAD OF THE FAMILY, we'll hear many of the HOUSE husbands and those who dodged their responsibilities saying the women brainwashed the children to hate him , forgetting the children are living entities with memory cells.

You can't blame the women for stepping up. Men are getting less hardworking these days. The reigning thing is marrying a rich man's daughter so your are financially safe. Smh

It's only online that men are absolute providers.
(Even the poor ones without jobs)

Where I come from, (I don't know about other areas) I've never seen more hardworking women in life than them.
From everything between A-Z these women struggle to raise their kids and build their own homes, support their families.

Nothing wrong in women rising up to be breadwinners. The men to these women MUST also must rise up to do what house wives do, take care of the home, cook, clean, kids etc. Society should not look down on female breadwinners nor househusbands.

@bolded...pls take time out to study men who whine about women online, you will never find a 'Seun', 'Psquare' or even a 'ymodulus' cheesy among them. These boys still depend mostly on their parents too, but online, you had think they have anything to offer anyone, when they can't even take care of themselves.
Funny thing is majority of them have little or nothing to offer (in all aspects) hence spend all their time searching for hungry girls like them to date. All they do is date, complain, whine, nothing else.

No excuse for the men.
But, not all women became breadwinners cos their husband could not provide.
Some did because they don't want to push around by men, equality is their dream.

Other women due to death or husband being incapicitated.

For those who did cos husband is lazy, the hubby will definately not get the head of house status, he lost it when he abandoned his responsibility.

Most importantly, let's teach morality more often than prosperity. The urge to be self dependent, self sufficient and rich is driving everybody mad, both men and women.

My fourteen years old neighbor and his friends are very active romancelanders. You won't believe the number of female monikers dying to meet him after he shows them his older brother's pics. The reason why I don't take that section seriously especially their endless lists on what a lady should be. I just read and laugh. He begged not to be exposed so,I won't. I pity the desperate ladies falling mugu for these little boys.
