Nigeria mentality sha grin grin meeting him in his house i don't see anything wrong in it only if the guy has bad intentions
Many Nigerian girls are immature. If he invites you to his house, there so nothing wrong there. It is either you say no, am not coming or yes, I will. If he starts acting funny, it is either you scream or work out on him but no! most Nigeria girls that go, even the ones here on Nairaland end up opening their legs, so who are the girls that go to guys house, foreigners abi?
I have been to a guys house many times and If I say no to his advances it is a no, yes, I have had some rump with some of them(guys).
NB: NL boys don't believe everything you read online some of us(girls) are pretenders o! Don't be surprised that most of them typing this are presently in his house for the first time.

My friends that I visit don't stay in my community. How many of all the jekojeko girls are of good moral standard for my liking. Its d guys who can't control their sex appetite that makes them think they're worth something. Ordinary safety pin worth more than them to me. [/quote]

I think all these is sequel to the fact that we get to meet more people here on social media than people did back in those days. We can thus afford to do away with "people wey dey dull us", knowing we will surely meet lots more.
Girls too are guilty of this. Often times u send messages on social media and they either refuse to respond, or respond in a boring manner. If not for social media, some of these same people won't even attract glances out there on the street, not to talk of "toasters". No be their fault sha

I mean you meet a guy newly, maybe exchange numbers because you think he is smart, he calls and the next thing is 'can you come to my house'?? Like seriously? Honestly its becoming so boring and annoying nowadays.

What's it with guys nah? Cant you guys patiently woo a lady without adding the 'come to my house' talk? Its a big turn off for me, whats there to be done in your house that we cant do elsewhere?

Is there some solution to global hunger in your house? Orishirishi. It's so common nawadays that you wonder if guys have lost their minds on dating etiquettes. My new friend has turned this come to my house talk into a daily anthem ooo..no be small thing.

The thing is..80prcnt of the men who invite ladies to come to their house at first meeting have no good intentions at heart..and y'all need a slap to reset your brain on how to properly woo a lady. Lord save guys of dis generation

Am I d only one in dis?
Same goes for girls and their "buy me this" and "gimme money" talk.

Re: Guys And Their 'come To My House' Annoying Talk by Nobody: 8:55am On Dec 20, 2015
It depends on the motive, I usually don't invite girls because i don't stay alone but the last time i did i was living alone in another country it was just to smoke and drink and gist about some crazy shit, some have good intentions but regardless if you feel not comfortable not going based on a certain feeling then please don't better to be safe than sorry.

Over here, the reverse is the case. Men come to a lady's house instead. If you don't invite them, they will practically invite themselves.
Most Nigerian girls! For where! Them get house! Can they even pay for anything with their money? My sister!

You are absolutely right. Vast majority of the girls all follow this bandwagon of eatery. Can't we meet at a park and talk? If I take you out I expect we split the bills. Even couples split bill here in US. Most guys don't have the finance to take a lady out and spend that much money trying to impress them. I'm such a lucky idiot not being in such situation where I'll have to start inviting a girl out just to impress her. I'm not inviting her to my house either. We will meet at the park since they lack the wisdom of bill splitting
That's US not Nigeria. She go split bill.... Most Nigeria are self centered.

If not for the fact that the world is full of evil, I would've said it is a sign of a responsible guy.

Would u give a guy u dont rily like very much ur numba?..if yes...why?..if no..id like to knw y..
the thing is, most of them don't even give u time to like them b4 asking for ur contact. I personally barely give guys my number and most of them verbally abuse me at the end of the day. Which I'm used to. But sometimes I might just give a guy my number cos I don't want him to bother me asking over and over again. And that I give a guy my number doesn't mean I've already accepted to visit him. Most guys make the mistake of thinking that once a girl gives them her number,, it means she likes them but it's not true. Yet there are people who don't demand for numbers but merely chatting with them I get to like them as friends. I said it b4 that there are still good guys out there but they are few. Some girls like sharing their numbers to any male thing that asks for it while many don't. It is a thing of choice.

Self respect, everybody has got that but only few put that to use. Not only runs girls demand, all of them, some for petty things while some other for genuine reasons but the petty ones overshadowed the genuine ones. If girls in need of bis or card don't hesitate asking as it please them, then guys asking girls to visit them in their homes shouldn't be an off thing. I thought girls like sharp&wise guys while the good&gentle are taken for granted.
If a girl needs bis and think she has to visit a guy for it, good for her. The guy should give it to her and get what he wants. Why should she have a that needs subscription if she knows she can't subscribe. It's a big turn off for me but it doesn't mean that people don't like it. Some people can't wait for that invitation. I don't need to visit a guy for us to be friends. I have a good number of social media friends who are good.
