Do you REALLY think Uncle Jo had any plans of stepping down peacefully?

Nah.

He was 'forced' out.

This gist na 'official' version.
All I know is that GEJ is a great leader, I don't care if he was forced out or not.

He knows how to lie a lot. Tomorrow, you might hear him give another account like: all the African leaders I called while the results were being collated advised me arrest BUHARI and force Jega to declare the election inconclusive at gunpoint, but I refused because that's not my way.

Hahaaa!! What a tasteless joke coming from a Booooohari supporter!! I mean, the cattle rearer's entire administration is one big hoax and someone is here foaming in the mouth about lies...you and Sameer1212 should cleanse the ineptitude in your mallam ' s bloodstream and if possible give him some brains before coming here to champion your Northern Agenda

Since losing to incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari at the April 2015 presidential election, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has been releasing tit-bits about the circumstances surrounding the loss.

In yet another revelation, Jonathan disclosed how he was advised by a sitting African leader not to accept the result of the election, a move that could have plunged Nigeria into chaos.

In an interview with The Sun, he said: “Let me tell you a story that will shock you. When the results of the elections were declared and I got almost 13 million votes, while the incumbent president won with over 15 million votes, I recall one African leader telling me that if I decided to leave office, it would only be because I must already be tired of remaining in office. The implication of that statement was that many other leaders in my position would have stayed put, but that is just not me. My place in governance was to do my best and quit and not to sit tight and destroy everything I had built. I believe that sometimes, one will have to make that kind of sacrifice in the interest of his people and nation that God had graciously allowed you to lead.”

And you now end up being better than that Leader. Enemies of Nigeria.

It is not a normal thing in Africa, most african leaders don't concede defeat and relinquish power when it comes to electing a new president.

Buhari lost 3 elections in the past and went to court 3 times to contest the results of those 3 elections.

Jonathan contested 2 elections, won 1 and lost 1 and then went back to his people.

If Buhari had lost last election, we would all have been at war now, I mean the coward Tinubu saw war looming hence he ran to Buhari.

The South needs to stand up to the north, we're only postponing the evil day, things can't continue as they are now.

#implementconfabreport#
The South can only stand up to the north when they (the south) stop soiling their hands with dirts of corruption when ever they get into a position of power.

Mrs/Mr. Gbagbo are still alive but inside ICC prison as u said: what of those that died during the war? The effect of that war is still all over the place. My Brother lost all his properties and so many others did. You now have to ask yourself: if GEJ went d Gbagbo way, and ends up in prison after 20k plus souls has been lost, what will be the fate of the country then? See d situation we are in now: d naira-dollar love story, the bombings and d likes...if there has bn a strife/war after the election, where do you think we would've been now? Sometimes I shun women or girls when they comment on politics... By not clinching to power and by that phone call: my brother: GEJ deserves to be applauded anytime anyplace!

This is the thing with awless, crooked and corrupt people, this is how they think.

They honestly think obeying the law and constitution they swore to protect is not something they really have to do and doing so is doing us a favor.

This is the same crooked and lawless man who bastardized the governor's forum election just because his bingos lost...

Just imagine the buffon patting himself on the back and looking for relevance for doing what the constitution stated he must do?

When this ineffectual buffon who supervised the most corrupt government on the surface of the earth and looting orgy lost the 2015 election, God did us a great favor.

If this story is true, then we are getting clearer idea of the quality of GEJ advisers both home and abroad...there is something they say about identical birds flying in same wavelength. Meanwhile, who can tell me aside Gbagbo, one other African President that refused to handover after being declared to have LOST ELECTION? I don't mean to have rigged election.
