There is no particular period or days for admission to be offered. All applicants need to pass through various evaluation stages before the final decision is made. Alright. As a prospective master student, you will not have lectures all days of the week. If you choose to enrol in just 3 courses per semester, there are chances you will only take classes 2-3 times per week. Hence, you may commute 1 hr prior to your lecture. Here in EMU, 95% of graduate programs end 5-6pm. Some classes are scheduled for morn period or mid-day period. Thus, you won't have issues. However, it may be stressful in the beginning, but you will get used to it as time passes.

During my post-doctoral Turkish-sponsored project, for months, I was flying to-fro three times per week Cyprus-Turkey. Mostly arrive Turkey around 8 am and return to Cyprus 4 pm....got used to it after just the first week.
Equally, I know a PhD student then at EMU that lectures in Turkey and still takes his courses at EMU, he did that for more than a year.

it will be stressful for you.. It's more than 30mins drive and it will be stressful to do that on a daily especial if your lectures end after 5pm..

No the Business Admin department won't waive the GMAT requirement for you if you applied for PhD in that field.

It's a disaster...got 4 friends currently affected ( at professor level). My graduate student defense was on 19th July, one of the jury members got to airport to fly down to the island but was blocked and told his university is under purge....we had to exchange with a local jury member. End of this month will determine if it gonna affect us as per certain percentage of the salaries come from mainland. For now we are good!

The fact is its quite simple..Just have it in mind that u wana go there for your schooling and use it as a stepping stone to other better countries...you will see job( kinda hard to get tho) but its gona be on a full time basis..when I was there ,I had to leave cuz someone I trusted carted away with my tuition .the person paid for a semester for me...my

Some would say I'm lying,but back then i was staying at Gonyeli 15,domanli sokak Nicosia ,from my balcony I watch the Cypriot army training every morning.... I got a job at a filling station ,the white man was like I would have to sign a five year deal .I asked him why ? He said cuz it will take him a lot to process my work permit at virgi dairesi (immigration office) ..I told him hell nope .I rather go back to my country ,I am here for study not for slave..I left him...I can give u my name on fbk and my guys we stay with back then ,one of them is in Poland now married to a polish woman ,one is in France now,one is in Greece now...jerry is back home in nija and jack and Daniel are still out there....life is not what u think in north Cyprus.. No, you will need a transcript before your application can be evaluated. So wait for the transcript!

31 years old applicant can be admitted to Master programs.

i presume you are a high school graduate, so you should have an academic transcript. your transcript might not have a cumulative point average, but you can calculate the gpa urself. each grade awarded should have an equivalent grade point, let's say A-4.00, B+ 3.5 B 3.0 and so on and so forth, you should ask your school officials for that, otherwise if you wont be able to assign it yourself, sum all the assigned grade points up(year 1 to year 3) then divide it by the total number of subjects offered. and for the acceptance letter, it varies, i got mine in a few weeks. its quite a while, i do not remember how many weeks it took. but you have to complete your application in time, you have taken far too long. Meanwhile wot courses are you considering ?

Regarding METU there is no discussion about the standard of the school, the question we usually ask is how academically sound am i?. METU is 2nd to none in TURKEY, and among the best in the world. However it's excellence is tilted towards Science and Engineering, i can assure you that you will get the best of education if you intend to study science or engineering programs, i can't say much about other departments, this is turkey's MIT we are talking about, in fact i can say its curriculum is as rigorous as that of MIT at least at undergrad level. I wont talk abt the grades required here,as i do not want to discourage u.

which METU are u refering to, Turkey or NorthCyprus? for METU, ankara, turkey, you will get your acceptance letter without paying the tuition fee, you can pay on arrival

Find a course to study
Find school that offers this course
Apply to the school and pay fees.

You can do this by searching on line and looking at school websites.

Please how long does it take the Turkish visa to come out after appointment/interview, I'm asking so I will know what to type in my departure date. I'm applying for Tourist visa to Turkey
