Let's imagine that in your current relationship you don't feel quite at home and somebody asks you out. You're willing to move to a better person for you, and you think this new guy could be him. Would you because you're in one relationship already not give a chance to the one whom your heart now beats for?

If the new guy because you're in a relationship decides not to ask you, hypothetically, you will never get the happiness you seek that he could bring into your life.

So my point is: mobility in relationships is a highly beneficial thing. If somebody leaves me for another, then perhaps, I was not the best person for them. Maybe I will cry for a week or lock myself indoors. But at the end of the, I will move on and try to learn.

Hmmm...that's a serious question.

I'm going to have to answer as sincere as possible. If I'm in a relationship with a guy, first of all, I don't like giving room for distractions by being too close to another guy for me to even start comparing. Now if for some reason I get close to a guy or start admiring from a distance & feel he will treat me better than my current guy, I will be bold to tell the current guy cos I can't double date. I will tell him for my conscience sake. If he says no, then i kniw i have at least done the right thing. But if the new guy I admire is in another relationship, I will not want to be the one to break up his relationship. With the way I'm wired, I can't be happy knowing that someone(another lady) is unhappy or broken cos of me.

Now if the guy is not in a relationship & I am, he can ask me out cos talk is cheap. But it depends on me to accept or not. Besides, how are you that sure that the new guy will treat you better than the current one? Will he still stay after knowing your flaws, your weaknesses, your baddest and deepest secrets? There's still a probability he might but.....

Lastly, mobility in relationships like you call it will only encourage double dating, having multiple sexual partners & spread of diseases perhaps. I don't joke with commitment, faithfulness, & devotion.

Haven't u seen enough women will swollen almost closed up eyes, torn lip, broken head on threads about their bfs, baby daddy's and husbands?

I mistakenly dated two horrible bad guys in sheep's clothing in the past.
And I learnt from my mistakes and vow never to have anything to do. With a bad guy anymore. Heavens forbid!

Good you learnt to stay away from bad guys and woman batterers...Personally I need no experience to learn that cos I really hate one laying his hands on me, can't remember the last time my dad flogged me when I was a kid then why should a so called bf lay his hands on me.
