it should be that the community points to a project that they want government to do that is within a 5m naira budget and government goes ahead to do it not handing the money to traditional rulers to do it..what is the guarantee and those guys no go pocket am?

"Tuhaara nkita okpukpu n'ezi, hapuzia ogu ya na ndi mmuo" according to a popular Igbo saying.

Let them give us the money and forget what we and our traditional ruler will do at home, its a home fight, we will do it our way.

The worst one will be to ignore my community for another 4 years on the excuse that government may come and work for us one day. If not for this type of opportunity, Enugu state government will never spend up to N20,000 on forgotten communities like Nomeh Unateze in Nkanu east till Ugwuanyi hands over to another person.

How would the government be able to cover about 500 autonomous communities within the period? This would take a longer time. What is the guarantee that the government will be able to handle all the projects pointed out by the communities? Now that the government has given the money to them, the communities can now hold their traditional rulers accountable. The communities may chose to complete their townhalls, build culverts, expand their local markets, add medicines to their local maternites...The state government should be left to monitor these projects, than get bugged down in doing the projects. We are talking about N5 million here.

Again, one or two mega projects with greater employment prospects are required in the state capital next term.

That's what am saying. Its better we are tackling our traditional rulers and not the governor who you will never approach easily.

All the time he could have made his points withouts taking shot or subliminal jabs and still pass his message across with every one understanding the message he was trying to pass. Or you think it's okay for him to take shots once in a while and its bad for chino cause he takes shots all the time, what is bad is bad his statement's were uncalled for.

Here are some quote of ofodirinwa's post (Bold) after reading it let me know if you still think what he said was in order and while you are at it kindly explain to me how Aba and Onitsha people behave, the same Onitsha and Aba that have produced some of Igbo's best and brightest minds.

With post like those highlighted tell me what separates him from Chino. I salute Anambrains and Abia people for their maturity to overlook his stupid jabs as they were totally uncalled for.

"Mechanized farming is great but there's more to life than money. This isn't an abstract concept either. May of the degenerative behaviors Nigerians exhibit are the result of the hideous toxic environments our short sightedness forces us to create.

When we make said money what will we do? Build a big tacky house and cage ourselves in 10 foot concrete walls. Well cut down every tree visible in the process.

When the air is full of dust, when erosion strikes, when smog reaches, air quality declines, people start dying at 40 from natural causes, we'll blame government.

Ontisha was built with 0 consideration for health or environment in mind. Today it's the dirtiest city in the world and the people there act like pained animals.

Owerri is moving in a decent direction and takes beauty into consideration. Enugu too. Do you know why people in Aba and Onitsha act one way while people in Enugu and Owerri act another?

Our poor concept of development has us racing towards wasting our time on Earth in a miserable ugly concrete hell.

You can't look at something this beautiful and start thinking of how to destroy it. Besides, beauty generates more money than rice. If Amazon or Microsoft was going to build office you think they'll choose to do it in a treeless, smoggy dusty wasteland?"

Aside the fact that it's wrong saying Onitsha is the dirtiest city in the world, what else is wrong with his post?
My own is that anybody that wants to kill himself should gladly do so, no matter how that rabid dog talks, nobody should reply him. Nobody has time for those rag tag behaviors of his . His name is not Anambra and Anambra is not his name, so all those taunts are his personal problems. This isn't the first time he has exhibited that,so I don't get the basis for finding why he tried to do it last night.

As for chino we nwafors know he is not Igbo.

Please go and see the type of allocation Kano receives yearly from federal government. Do you even know that Kano is almost as populated as Lagos according to Nigerian census.

South east states get the least federal allocations combined.

We cannot develop massive infrastructures with meager budgets. It's impossible.

The only option is to use private funding.

But still on that Kano is not this you see on picture. Apart from wide roads and bridges, Kano has nothing else. very scanty with poor housing in its most areas. I still prefer Enugu, Kaduna, Portharcourt and Owerri to Kano.

I don't know how your judgement may be in respect to that.

Totally agree. But we were talking about government led infrastructure development in that conversation.

But when it come to individual driven development, no group in the whole of Nigeria or Africa beats igbos.

I simply want Ofodirinwa and his cohorts to understand that there is never a good reason to call any part of Igboland names. He has to apologize for such unhealthy statement that has cause tension on this thread.

As for Chino we all know he is not Igbo same with yyeske however that's why I don't bother about whatever trash both monikers spews, however when such trash comes from real nwafors then e done pass be careful and the hand shake has passed the elbow.

Frankly, if one is to go by the nonsense Ofo wrote then one might tend to agree with chino and yyeskke that there is some kind of hate towards Ndi Anambra, cause there was no need for such remarks in the first place.

Ofo apologize to ndigbo on this thread, if you have any dignity or love for your people and don't harbor hate towards any part of Igboland.
Mention me next time and see what happens, you are an Efik boy, prove to me that you are Igbo.

I understand their game plan very well. There are certain monikers, when i see their post i just scroll down to the next, not bothering to read it. Some of them toerags (that's if it's not just one or two people operating all these monikers) may understand a bit of Igbo but they're definitely not Igbo. When someone is seen engaging them in a back-and-forth argument, and derailing the thread in the process, better believe such a 'person' is probably one of their alternate monikers.

Why do they do it i hear you ask? Well, you have to understand that the hatred towards Ndigbo in Nigeria is real, and Igbo unity and progress scares the h'ell out of them, hence they go out of their way to try and cause divisions among us....it's all in a bid to protect their ATM that is 'one Nigeria'.

Some of us are either too dumb, too greedy or just don't care about the the progress and unity of Ndigbo; and it's such a people that are our weakest link, and easily susceptible to being bribed to either keep quiet when injustice is meted out on us, or they can easily be bought to help the enemies machinations against us. Ever wondered why it was so easy for Buhari and his Fulani army to come into the heart of Igboland and murder/kidnap one of our prominent sons and his parents, and equally kill many other of our kinsfolk without anything happening?
You can't remove my Igboness as much as you want, don't ever try Anambra again

That's my attitude now. I don't pay those fake Igbo claiming monikers attention anymore. I expected every wise igbos to do the same. Anyway let's go back to discussing development of Enugu and the rest of igboland.

I still prefer the state mapping out specific projects for the communities.

His house is known to all of us, we can sort ourselves out in the village and he will use half of the money to settle police, the rest to settle village boys to save him from the rest of the community.

But not so if the state government refuses to visit my community in 16 years, I know where the government house is, but policeman with AK47s might not allow me vent inside the government house grin

I am telling you, this is the only way some communities will ever see 10 kobo from the state government. Half bread is better than chin chin grin

LOL. You are the one deceiving yourself. Those lines are very real. We Anambra indigenes asked for those lines after seeing how wawa people were slowing our progress with their laziness and envious hearts. Go to Onitsha and hear for yourself the adjectives that Anambra people use to qualify wawa and abakaliki persons. Remain on NL and be deceiving yourself.
Bia kitikpa rachaa gi anya for mentioning Abakaliki in ur Egwu surugedee, I've been watching ur nonsense utterances with little patience.
Keep fooling ur self that you have arrived. I don't want to say what I know from Anambra because that state has blessed me a lot.

Any reason why we don't have Abia and Ebonyi threads like we have for Imo, Enugu and Anambra? It's like the citizens of these states don't care much for showcasing their states and challenging their state gov'ts where and when necessary like the other three do.

I created the said thread immediately spyder88 created this Enugu's thread but the same 'Ndi anaya' rubbishes the thread and I've to abandon it.

But very soon I and my fellow Ebonyians will look into it.

B2mario, this is Abia state news about salary trending on frontpage but have you seen Chino there yabbing your state? NO. You were a well known troll on Anambra threads before, until we joined you in the madness until you deserted.

When Igbos learn to respect each other then we can sit together. But not when you insult me and when I respond in the same manner you start complaining.
