Do you mean you didn't pay anything for the dummy copy? I usually get it at N5k from flight agent. 1. There are 3rd party agents that will help you get your documents notarized in Abuja. You sincerely didn't have to travel. 2. Airline bookings and Hotel bookings are free. You should never have to pay a dime for them until you get you visa. You can easily download an Airline App (or use their websites) to book flights for visa applications. |

Geenosko: The "official statement" was in 2017 and this is 2020
My siblings visited me early this year. One of them had a valid SA visa on an expired passport but also had a new one. Both passports were presented on departure from lagos and arrival in SA with zero issues so I'm not just posting because I want to, I'm giving first hand experience.
Any frequent traveller can corroborate this. https://www.vfsglobal.com/dha/southafrica/transfer-rectification.html from VFS also verifies this since you've decided to dispute DHA information. Or maybe you'd have us believe that both DHA and VFS statements are wrong but we can trust the experience of your 'siblings'. Something no one else can verify . Abeg make the guy believe what he will, I have nothing to lose. Nothing wey we no go read on Nairaland. |

According to SA DHA rules, visas automatically expire when the passport expires. In fact they tag cases when the expiry dates of visa outlive that of passport as mistake. You can read about it But I advise you to urgently reapply with your new passport. |
Career › Re: Why Are People In These Professions Very Rude? by 080bjaked(m): 8:23pm On Nov 23, 2020 |
qwertie1234: i understand that been rude and impolite is something personal but looking around, some professions habour large number of these rude and stern set of peeps and it makes me wonder..
1.Nurses; I recently went to a general hospital to see a friend and seeing the way these nurses handle patients makes me wonder if hostility is part of the nursing curriculum being taught in nursing school... A particular patient was screaming of pains and these nurses were just glued to their plasma television watching zeeworld.. I understand the work load is quite cumbersome but does that justify thier carlous attitude towards people they are meant to take care of...
2. Bankers; epecially the ones in the customer care stand...their attitude can be very annoying.
3.Nepa staff; hmmmm these ones ehn, their ear is selectively non receptive to the word "abeg"...most especially the ones assigned to disconnect light.
4. Doctors; though a few medical doctors are nice, there is still a large chunk of very rude medical doctors..u see them operating phone and chatting when a patient is right before them struggling for life.
This is not to say there aren't nice and dedicated staff in the above listed profesionals but a very good number of them are, in summary, quite rude to say the least..
You are free to add or remove from the list. Reason why you should leave your country and try other climes . These professionals are actually very nice people. |

alizma: Do you understand the policy or you just type without clear understanding? The government is protecting your interest and you call that wickedness, what type of human being are you? The new policy is targeted at people that issue cheques knowing fully well that they don't have money in their account or that they will not be able to fund the account before the maturity of the cheque. In developed countries, cheque is as good as cash because you dare not issue cheques against unfunded account but here in Nigeria, people see cheque as a professional way of rubbing business partners. They collect goods and give you cheque knowing fully well there is no money in the account. Now the bank is taking measure to prevent such unscrupulous behavior and the next thing you say is that the country is wicked...... Issuing dud cheques has always been a criminal offence even in Nigeria so that's not the reason. You probably just dont have enough knowledge to understand this policy or you are just another political bigot. |

Risentouch: As for me my ATM card is only active whenever I want to transact with it immediately am done in less than 10secs I don lock am again. Let me know how professional d fraudster can be to withdraw or purchase with an atm card that is not active... That's my own tactics of keeping my card safe from some hungry bastards, Because I can't even use it to withdraw from an atm machine as long as it's still locked Lock ATM or lock the bank account? Maybe you can provide more clarity on this please. Cos from what I'm sure off, once your ATM is blocked, most banks will ask that you get a new one. CBN policy doesn't allow banks to unblock ATMs at will. Just as there's a policy that mandates swallowed cards in other bank's ATMs to be destroyed (but we know they don't always follow this ) |

lytech1: Stop saying nonsense
If this is the case,ATM card will have been scrapped because no one is safe with what you wrote up there.
With this ur claim, not only POS attendant can dupe you. Your family and friends can also dupe you. That's why banks advise you to keep your card safe (not just the PIN). If you doubt it, trying posting your CVv2, PAN and expiry date on an open forum and see the wonders that'd follow. NB: Make sure you don't have more than you can afford to lose in the account. |

Donjazzy12: No fraudster can take money from your account without your ATM pin. LOL......Once your PAN (16 digits), CVV2 and Expiry date are exposed, the ATM is exposed already. Please forget PIN, it only applies to local transactions, it's an interswitch security measure. Most Int'l platforms don't need pin to debit your account. Be wise. Please stay safe. |

creolehunt: He was sent an offer letter plus other documents and he resumed last week monday. Last week Tuesday, he was called by the HRM who asked him series of questions after which the HRM said he didn't know all this while that my brother isn't an active staff and that he (the HRM) was hoodwinked by the branch manager. His argument was tgat there were other eligible candidates who could have been recommended, but the manager brought someone from outside.
Now, the offer letter to my brother has been withdrawn. Same guy that resigned his job the moment he received this offer, he has even told everyone that mattered tgat he was relocating. Please is there anything we can do to salvage this, it's so heartbreaking. I don't know where they expect him to start from when he gets home. First, review the content of the offer letter. Does it explicitly state that the offer is only open to active, internal employees? If not, he shd contact a lawyer, he has a very good case to sue them especially if he has accepted the offer. The company is liable to paying damages and compensation. |

Not necessary but ensure you get a letter of introduction from the company also stating that they are paying for the trip expense (preferably on the company letter head). It's not a biggie to present your statement of account too if it is sufficiently funded. |

Inbox me if you want it You want to sell another person's intellectual property for a lower price. You really should be arrested for that. Instead of you to use your brain to start something genuine, you are trying to leech on another's property. That's unfair, it's illegal and it's not right |

Unless you don't have any use for it yet then you can let it chill with the embassy until you do. Recall should take between 48-72hrs for your passport to be ready for pickup. The embassy just wicked ni sha. The least they could have done is process the pending applications during lockdown and release the passport to their owners now but ofcourse, everyone takes Nigerians for granted. |

roughdiamond: Op, look for a state in Nigeria and visit. Otherwise, increase your budget to at least 300k or more. Though, with 300k or more, I suggest you visit a developed country or English speaking African country (Flight tickets to English speaking African countries from my experience are cheaper). But honestly African countries don't worth it. They are too racist This isn't fair. To the best of my knowledge, a lot of Africa countries are friendly and accommodating but like you rightly stated, he needs to increase his budget. |

Xeeex: I'll advise you go to Egypt. You can get round flights for under $600. Then you can rent cheap hostels and find a tour to take you around Egypt. Things are very cheap there.
Im want to visit there next year by God's grace
If you want more info on how to get cheap deals you can message me. I'm not a travel agent and it'll be for free. Great advise but if he has less than 500k, abeg let him cancel Egypt out his list, the flight cost alone is like 300k. Feeding, Accommodation and touring will also cost some amount. 200k is so out of the equation here. |

SilverNorGold: My brother, are you an eyewitness? Eyewitnesses have debunked the story as a hoax. Even the post I quoted explained why, probably you didn't read it. Let me quote it:
"There is no clear video of shooting at the crowd (the only video I saw of soldiers apparently shooting was a doctored one. On closer look, you will see that the soldiers in the video were not even shooting. and it appears that the shooting sounds were dubbed in, and the muzzle flashes were game show flashes and TOO FAR away to have been from those soldiers we were looking at . LOOK DISAPPASSIONATEY before you crucify me please. Even the crowd in front of those soldiers were NOT even running AWAY. They look like they were just standing and talking to the soldiers even as we hearing loud gunshots and seeing muzzle flashes that appeared in the clouds like a BAD Nollywood film. LOOK!"
.. Like I said, other pictures were either photoshopped or taken from other states/scenes...
So far, NO ONE has come out to verify that their loved ones were killed there.. It's all a hoax, my brother. How some people become dumb so they can defend their pay. Does it not just sound stupid to you? Instagram live videos were also doctored? You are a disgrace to your family. Shame on you |
