Sincerely the Dr. or his accusers do not owe us any public hearing. If any of them think they have a case, they should go to court.

No rapist deserves to walk free and all false-accusers deserve to spend the rest of their lives paying damages.

My friend told me he has one boss working in one big company in
Nigeria earning over #250,000 monthly. Despite this huge salary,
this man still decided to resign & left Nigeria with his family (wife
& 2 kids)to Canada. He asked his boss why he took such step
despite the fact that he's doing fine in Nigeria, he was amazed with
the response of his boss, the man said "I DID IT FOR MY KIDS".
Does that mean he sees no future for his kids here?
Does that mean there's nothing to hope on here?
Does that mean the man is not being patriotic?
Too many questions running through my mind on that.
Did you just put 250k monthly net and 'Huge' in the same sentence? Boss, most Banks' new entrants (full staff) earn around that already and that's just $555 or so .....anyways, I know people that earn about 1m per month (net) and are leaving for Canada. What people actually want is not plenty cash in their pockets (atleast no primarily). People just want a sane environment, working gov't, stable economy, steady power supply, ability to plan their lives without funny distractions, security, respectable jobs and most importantly a better life for their children.
So if I may advise you my friend, even if you earn 2m per month, relocate your family to a sane country, your children will pray for you bacause of that someday.

If you liked Dubai, I can suggest some tips for travelers. As for me, I used to be in Dubai twice and can recommend to travel there but you need to know that this city is really big and you need to rent a car if you are going to visit all the sightseeings. It is very important to know and to choose the right one. I was using https://evolve.ae/ which is a perfect opportunity if you are looking for a luxiry car option.
He's not going as a tourist, so the 'sightseeing/luxury car' doesn't apply. If for anything, he needs to be extremely prudent as he doesn't have a job there yet.

If u re the one paying for the trip .I advice u have over 1M in your account unless u have a south African sponsor .I mean documentation to support your visa application
In my last application I discovered south African consulate like good bank account
Boss, those people can be interestingly inconsistent sometimes. Someone close to me only had about NGN300k in his account (sponsored himself ooo) and he still got it. Maybe because he works with a SA affiliated company in Nigeria sha. But like you said, it's good to play safe and have enough cash reflect in the bank account statement.

Hello guys, please how long does it take on average for critical skills visa to be processed after submission. I really need this info to make a decision.

Thanks.
It varies from 6 weeks to 6 months. The deciding factors aren't properly defined though. A couple of years back, some of my friends got it in less than 2 weeks and just last year, another friend of mine had to withdraw his passport after 7months of no response. Interestingly I got mine exactly 3months after I applied (also last year). So it is not defined but my advise is that you make your application full proof and send constant reminder weekly (maybe after 6-8weeks of no response).

All the best.

Guys, is there someone I can contact here for advise and guidance. I'm trying to get my mother a visiting Visa. She's not keen to go to Abuja since she stays in Lagos.

Please... For someone that's old and me not being around, i just need to know how an old woman could go about it in Lagos.

Please get back to me, pleaseeee

Thanks
That should not be a problem. Just get someone to do the running around for the necessary documents then use the Premium Lounge facility available inside the Visa Application Centre when she wants to submit. She can go there around 9am-10am and she will be attended to in about an hour or so. The services costs about 12,000 or so but I find it really convenient.

Hello, Please when you reapplied, in the column where they asked if you've been denied entry into the Republic before, what was your response?
When you apply for a Visa and the response was negative, then your application is denied but when after you were granted Visa you arrived at the country but the immigration officer denies you entry into the country (most likely you were unable to convince him/her of your purpose in the Republic), only then have you been denied entry.

So if you are filling a Visa application form and you get to the "Denied Entry" part, they are not asking if your application has been denied before, they are asking if an immigration officer has bounced you at point of entry before.

I'd like to share what my experience has been with this great house, I have been encouraged by reading successful visa applications on this platform and I think it's only necessary that I take the favour and pass it forward. I first conceived the idea of applying for the SA Critical skill visa about 3years ago but due to one reason or the other, I procrastinated the decision till August/September last year. It was at that point that I start processing the necessary documents, I started with SAQA, ICITP, documents validation/verification etc etc. After completing the necessary docs / requirements, I finally applied for the CSV on 12th November. May I also add that I didn't have any serious funds in my account, believe me, the amount in my account the day I printed my statement of account was lower than what most people have been quoting (let's leave that at that).
After the application submission at the VFS, the wait started, around mid-January, I started sending weekly emails and reminders to the SA High Commission email addresses shared on this platform.

To God be the glory, I got some emails and text messages yesterday that my passport was ready for collection. The passport got delivered to my office earlier today and I was granted a 1year Exceptional Skills permit that is extendable to 5years based on some conditions.

I decided to share this story to encourage everyone still waiting for their Visas on this platform. Good news is coming your way too.

Cheers.

Hi Goodmorning
New user here
I followed this thread since last year to help with my applications. You guys are very helpful even the somehow questions help. I saw different peoples reason for denial and I tackled it in my application to make sure there’s no loophole
Submitted Dec 2nd, a consular called my office on Jan 31st to confirm if I work there and also asked to speak to me. Got a message to come pick my passport same day. Picked it yesterday and I was given 3 months.
Congratulations Sir. We are glad the forum has been of help.

Hello everyone, please i got my documents yesterday and a letter that says "there's no proof of relationship between you and the sponsor "
Though the agent that arranged the document decided to use his documents as that of d sponsor and he indicated that I'm his fiancee. Now,my question is, how do i appeal, because it was included in the letter that I should appeal within 10 working days.the agent said he would send the documents they require through courier. Please how is it done?am i supposed to submit by myself?
I'd suggest you reapply instead of appealing but this time, try to address the raised concerns, Also, Fiance - Fiancee relationships aren't legal so get a Visa based on that relationship may not be very straightforward. Who knows? The Agent might have 'numerous fiancees' he has sponsored for visa. smiley #JustThinking.

Please those who submitted to vfs recently did they ask you to authenticate your WAEC and A Level result at both ministry of education and Foreigner affairs?
I submitted my application in November and I didn't have to authenticate my credentials (except for the local court attestations). However, this is a new year and things might have changed, maybe you should check out their website and checklist if there are any changes.

Regards.

grin welcome to the new SA Visa era. Unless you work with (and have an Introduction letter from) one of the Top SA companies in Nigeria such as Standard Charter, Stanbic, MTN or so, your minimum visa processing time is 3 weeks. The era of 5days is long gone for Nigerians.
