My brother, are you an eyewitness? Eyewitnesses have debunked the story as a hoax. Even the post I quoted explained why, probably you didn't read it. Let me quote it:

"There is no clear video of shooting at the crowd (the only video I saw of soldiers apparently shooting was a doctored one. On closer look, you will see that the soldiers in the video were not even shooting. and it appears that the shooting sounds were dubbed in, and the muzzle flashes were game show flashes and TOO FAR away to have been from those soldiers we were looking at . LOOK DISAPPASSIONATEY before you crucify me please. Even the crowd in front of those soldiers were NOT even running AWAY. They look like they were just standing and talking to the soldiers even as we hearing loud gunshots and seeing muzzle flashes that appeared in the clouds like a BAD Nollywood film. LOOK!"

.. Like I said, other pictures were either photoshopped or taken from other states/scenes...

So far, NO ONE has come out to verify that their loved ones were killed there.. It's all a hoax, my brother.
Lol. Case of a reported speech calling another report speech lies. Were you there Mr man? Or you are just justifying the pay of your slave masters like you've always done. We know your work and your lies. Government chipmunk.

My beloved brothers, this is wrong. Very wrong.. We can never achieve anything positive if we continue to act this way..

Would this ungodly attack reverse her appointment? Aren't peaceful protests and articles of enlightenment better than attacking a woman who is old enough to be the mother of some of us?

Since no one is perfect or without fault, if we continue to destructively attack one another because of our flaws, instead of supporting one another and harnessing our strengths, it means we'll never see any good in others, which means, Nigeria, our great nation, will forever be stagnant.. Which I am sure we don't hope for..

So, please, my dearest brethren, let us learn to love, appreciate others and offer constructive criticism, instead of going the route of bigotry, and hate..

Nigeria will be great, with our collective efforts.

God bless Nigeria.
God bless us all..

I agree with the OP's reasoning.
To Those shouting poverty mentality and hustle, please note, everyone will not and can not be rich. Therefore, everyone should train his child to the very best of his ability.

The rich child shared PS4, how much does a PS4 CD cost, who would be buying the games to be played on the PS4?

It is one thing to have a gift and it is another to maintain that gift.

Cc
KingAzari, Randy100, NaijaCr7
The interesting thing is that most people shouting can't even afford one. The are only blinded by their greedy nature.
EducationRe: School Birthday Will Make Your Child Greedy by 080bjaked(m): 6:35pm On Sep 24, 2020
WoundedLamb:
You sent your child to a big man's school and at the same time, you are trying to isolate him/from from the lifestyle. You'll only end ridiculing the poor child. You are ruining your child's self esteem by making him/her an island in his school.Your insecurities/fear of being embarrassed when it's your child's turn is be-clouding your sense of judgment.

Do you really think it's every single kid that celebrates birthdays like that in the school? Do you think that your child would be the only one who wouldn't share something or even celebrate their birthdays in school? The fact that your kid doesn't come home every other week with such expensive gifts should have made you know that it wasn't a regular thing and that many kids don't celebrate their birthdays in school and your child wouldn't be an exception. I sincerely do not see how your action benefitted anyone. If it's that you don't want your kid to be embarrassed when he dosen't have anything to share during his birthday, well, you have just doubled the embarrassment by asking him to return the gift. You were once a kid like that, just imagine the how he'd feel returning the item. His classmates will make fun of him, he will be isolated in the next celebrations cause his father is afraid of not living up to the big man's standards and you've even attracted more attention to him cause his own birthday won't go unnoticed anymore seeing the drama y'all are putting. You put your child in a big school so he'd be able to reason beyond poverty and normalize some things that poor people see as heavenly yet you still want him to keep living the poor life even when it will cost him nothing enjoy what his fellow kids are enjoying. You're simply going to damage the kid's self esteem beyond repair. You're already sounding it to him that he is different/inferior so don't be surprised when he can't compete with the kids in other aspects of life too or when he grows up to be timid.

Honestly, you were extremely selfish in that decision, sir.
A simple question for you please Sir. No harm meant, no insult intended and no negging intentions. I just want to understand the perspective of your comment. Do you have a child in school? If so, which class please?
EducationRe: School Birthday Will Make Your Child Greedy by 080bjaked(m): 6:26pm On Sep 24, 2020
Sebastine1994:
Please schools should stop celebrating birthdays in school, please, biko. I use God beg you.

I sent my child to school to learn and not to celebrate birthdays, I came back from work one day and saw this play station 4 in a carton, I asked them who own. they said my daughter classmates celebrated her birthday and shared these gift to them.

I quickly ask them to reparkage the gift and take it back to the school, before I return from work the next day.

MY REASON IS THIS: all fingers are not equal, when it is my daughter's birthday they would be expecting a gift of equal amount.

The parent may be rich and I am not, they give my child what I can't afford for her which is a recipe for greed. she should be contented with what I can afford,

These her young mind should be moulded early to adapt to reality.

These private schools are encouraging these evil act, it may affect the child tomorrow.

please push to front page to expose the dangers of school birthday.
You can see the real poverty mentality in those shouting "hustle ooo", "poverty", "why return gifts" blah blah blah. They are missing the real point (which is expected as most of them either aren't living comfortably or are not parents). The the real point of this post is contentment. If you are glad your child is receiving these gift and on your child's birthday you decided to share lunch boxes or less valuable parks, do you know that' enough to steer greed and inferiority into your kid's mind? These children compare gifts and if you don't repay in similar pattern, the other children will make jest of your baby and that could lead to serious emotional issues for the child. Teach your child contentment because the truth is you will never have all you want.
For godliness and contentment is great gain.

It's a DDOS attack. That means he didn't have to access any of their applications or servers. He just rendered their endpoints unavailable for a while. it's a common type of attack though but he should have been more careful. Simple free VPN, NAT or IP spoofing tricks would have saved him. I guess he was only trying out a newly learnt skill. The university should also find other ways to punish misuse/abuse of resources without stifling learning minds.

InvestmentRe: Safe Betting: How I Lost N880,000 In 8 Minutes by 080bjaked(m): 3:53pm On Jul 30, 2020
abujarealtor:
Good day, everyone.

Yesterday was one of the most confusing days for me. For a moment, I almost ran mad.

Two weeks ago, I didn't even know what betting was like. Never done it, never experienced it. I hardly knew what the numbers meant.

Fast forward to yesterday, Tuesday, 28 July, I was risking a client's money on a game I thought was 'a sure bet.'

It was an eSports game I've been following for a while. I knew the players involved were very skilled and could score for fun. They did so in over 10 successive matches last night. So I thought it was worthwhile betting they'd score at least 2 goals.

I tried to do so in three attempts, but didn't have the mind to follow through, only for the matches to end up with at least 3 goals or more.

Informed by this, I thought it was safe to go on ahead and play this one time. I did. Unfortunately, both matches didn't end like I had predicted.

Over 800k was gone in a flash. I couldn't believe it. Seeing the signs, I attempted a cash out while the match was still live but couldn't, as the option wasn't available.

You may wonder why I had to risk such a huge sum.

It's simple; think I got greedy. embarassed

However, my excuse was that I needed money to offset some bills. Faced with so much responsibilities, I thought winning over a million naira would go a long way in helping me take care of stuff since business hasn't been coming in so much. The tile money I used was my first business since March, before the lockdown.

But, of course, my greed overshadowed any excuse I could offer.

To all the young men out there, please, regardless of how sure you are, do not stake more money than you're willing to lose. I've been there. The allure of making it big sooner can be overwhelming, but don't risk it.

If you must, stake little sums and make future bets from your winnings.

cry cry cry

@I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this, but pls help push it to the front page so people can learn from my experience.
Sorry Bro. The virtual games are designed to favour the system owner. You can't win against them unless there's someone somewhere who's losing a bigger amount.
Also, I'm glad you figured this out early, truth is betting is addictive, if you had won yesterday, you'd still would have lost cos betting feeds on our greed. You've have staked an higher amount later one and would have lost.
Take heart Boss. Please stay away from it going forward.

Regards.

Ninobraw:
I am a guy of 29 years old and she's 24 years old. She is a nurse and she is working and earning good salary. We have been dating for the past 3 years, ever since she came into my life things have been moving forward. Between the space of three years I was able to buy a land and build two flat (almost completed) and also buy a nice car. All this was possible because she was in my life. She assisted me with the money she accumulated before she met me, (2 million naira) gave it to me to add it to the money I was using to build the house, she has really been the best thing that has happened to me. We both have never cheated on each other, I'm very happy having her in my life. During the period of covid 19 my business was shut down totally she was the one that sustained me Althrough and never complained.

She later resigned from her nursing work and started her own chemist shop, I supported her with 300k she rejected it and asked me to add it to the money for house project. She is making some good money from her store any way.

Now we plan to do our marriage by December and I budgeted more than 1 million naira.
the problem is that she insisted that it is too much that I should not spend more than 500k that's been a problem to us but later settle it. because she won't just listen to me she wants me to spend less than that the reason why I wanted to spend more than 1 million Naira was because she deserves it.

So because of that we adjusted the marriage to three months time since it's just 500k I am spending now my question is can I spend 500k for a moderate marriage? And I wanted to do something tangible for her because she deserve more than everything I have, please what other things can I do for her that will be equivalent to everything she has done for me.

Since we have been dating she has never asked me for big money and also when ever I give her she always tells me that she gat money that no need to give her, in fact she love me so much that she don't even accept money from me unless gift. Now I want to do something tangible for her because since I have been dating her she doesn't allow me spent on her that much, and she doesn't complain.

How To Retrieve Your Money After You Have Been Scammed...

I am sharing a knowledge today on "Tips on how to retrieve your money after you have been scammed".

Please read careful and learn.

20% of social media users and shoppers have been scammed at one point or the other, either large bucks or small money and It's quite painful.

Many people don't always know what to do, so today am sharing with you things you do, when you realize a page you paid for a service or goods is ghosting you:

1. Screenshot all previous chats across all messaging app (IG and WhatsApp or FB).

2. Write out the Full name and account number of the page or person.

3. Go to the last notification your bank sent you after you made the payment (via mobile app or text) copy out the "TRANSACTION ID NUMBER".

4. Go to any branch of the scam artist's bank (the bank the scammer uses), ask to see the CUSTOMER SERVICE in charge of FRAUD.

5. If you can, print out all those chats with the scammer, and submit it.

While you are there, send an email to SCAMMER'S BANK and copy CBN FRAUD DESK *(anticorruptionunit@cenbank.org).* this will ginger the bank to take it up fast.

What should you expect from this? The culprit/suspects account will be PLACED ON HOLD. His BVN will be blocked permanently. No account will ever be opened neither will he be able to transact banking business in that name until he clears himself with the bank

Meaning he/she cannot transfer or withdraw until they visit the bank, and when they do, the bank will contact the police and the suspect when proven guilty will sign a waiver allowing the bank to refund your money.

Never forget this.
Unfortunately, this doesn't qualify as one of those cases. He willingly transferred the money to her account. You can't force an adult to travel if she doesn't want to. Baba should just take it as miscellaneous loss in his accounting entry.

I know I let my guards down. So there was this lady who I would call Miss T. She was introduced to me by her senior sister who I knew through a facebook group. Since I told her I needed a girl for a serious relationship, she said she will link me to her younger sister in Akungba, Ondo state.

So, fast forward to when I began speaking with Miss T, she agreed to come to see me in Lagos but complained of not having enough for transport. So due to the recommendation i got that she was a good lady, I sent her N11, 000 as transport.

So after sending her this money, only for her to call me on the eve of the day she was supposed to come. that one of her relative was ill. So I just had this feeling that this was too coincidental to be true.

So I tried to cajole her to return the money since I sensed she was trying to play smart with me. She said no problem. That I can send my account number, which I did. After waiting for 3 days, I chatted her up on whatsapp that I'm yet to see any alert from her. Only for her to tell me she needs money for now.

So I said she is supposed to keep her promise of returning it, after which, she blocked her on whatsapp. I contacted her senior sister who linked us and her response too wasn't satisfactory to me.

So I'm really bitter with how the whole episode played, any chances of me recovering my money? just pained why someone will block me on top of my money. Please help.
