I am 31yo with a masters in chemical engineering. I intend to pursue a PhD elsewhere and I have relative who's willing to support with 10m. What's my best shot pls? I am looking at Canada or Australia

Hi guys. I just rounded off an mtech program in chemical engineering here in Nigeria. Considering job scarcity in the country, I am thinking of pursuing another degree most definitely not in Nigeria. My options are either a PhD in Canada or another msc in process safety in University of aberdeen. For those that have towed this part, what's the best shot for me. I am also open to options outside the ones I have on ground. Thanks people.

As a rule of thumb, I believe there is a school for every profile. Since you are gunning for a PhD, with a publication and your strong MS GPA, complement them with a high GRE and TOEFL scores, don't forget to do "bam-bia-ala" in the mailbox of potential supervisor or graduate coordinator.....

this is not a chemical engineering problem per se. its more of thermodynamics, i suggest you consult mechanical engineers
