otokx:Do you have an idea of how many Coronavirus testing machines Shell donated to Rivers state? |
Diobu na confirmed ghetto.. The Ajegunle of PH |
monfizzy:Only Amaechi tried to make PH look decent, a sizeable proportion of PH is actually unplanned, and dirty. Zero adherence to town planning. The govt of Wike is not concerned at how building codes are neglected. Wike is a disgrace to governance. That said, PH has a plethora of upscale areas. Don't expect people living there (people like me ) to snap neighborhood and upload online. At least for security and privacy reasons. |
PortHarcourt1st:See this idiot called Chinonso Dike. |
Nice.
|
Tissaia:Yenefer... you have ported to a new moniker.. why do you live your life on Nairaland, that is how you will end up a lazy woman. |
oil cannot collapse Nigeria economy. Lagos State is very rich, she will use her VAT to pull Nigeria out. Niger Deltans will know that Lagos is Baba. ![]() |
cjrane:stop na... I don't like when people insult Yorubas. Their girls are very good to me. If your Fuqing a Yoruba girl and she's screaming in ecstasy in Yoruba language, you go come faster than expected.. pls pardon, tamper Justice with mercy. A large expanse if Ibadan is old, rusty, dirty.. but fine areas dey. let's showcase the good part of Nigerian cities while we do our best to make the less beautiful areas finer. If you keep posting those pics, you're unwittingly insulting all Nigerians. biko mele ndiYoruba ebele... daalu. |
Arrewa, if these are the achievements of hausa/Fulani intelligentsia, id say you Northerners are a loooing way behind Southerners in achievements. Good all the same, but you guys have to really restructure the mindset of average Northerners. Alot will be achieved if your religion-based cultural practices are made moderate, especially to suit existing realities. I rest my case. |
I don't like the use of the word 'deports'... It has illegality smacked over it. They should instead say 'transports'... You can't deport someone in his country. Nigeria is a lawless place, what was I even expecting... |
TMKsouth:ok den. From what I gathered in your thread, seems like White South Africans live above the law in your country. Well, it is expected, they own it. ![]() |
I want to personally clap for all the South Africans on this thread. Do you people realize this is a Nigerian forum?? |
Donkalio:Why do enjoy running round in circles?? |
Donkalio:guy, keep flattering yourself. |
Donkalio:When Ikwerres were signing the agreement, there was nothing like Okrika towns in PH.. that is the Crux of the matter. you guys are a recent development. |
Donkalio:I know the place, they were in the news lately over some form of demolition. Now you want to claim you are also native to Etche?? |
Donkalio:Are u from Omuma or Etche?? Those guys are as good as Ikwerres. Ikwerre/Etche are same people. Used to be in same LGA so what's your point. Ogu/Bolo is just a tiny LGA of three communities. Ogu main town, Bolo and Wakama. nothing else. so what's your deal? |
Donkalio:An Okrikans being a senator is strictly for political consideration. Ok check this, Walga, Ogu/Bolo, is the only two Okrika LGA in Rivers east, out of 8LGAs.. If not PDP political consideration, how can George Sekibo win. is 2 bigger than 6?? |
Donkalio:Hahaha, see person, see claims. When they wanted to flagoff the rehabilitated railway line from PH to Enugu, which Royal Highness came to flag It off. Was it Ikwerre or Okrika? Guy, no one is saying Daniel Ok Kalio wasn't conspicuous in all that happened, but in what capacity was he there. Money was paid to Ikwerre chiefs for land, he was only there as Witness/interpreter. He was a school teacher in Okrika and the British first landed in Okrika which was a notable port town as then but there was no land there for what the British wanted, besides Okrika was an island and cannot be easily linked with mainland Rivers. they needed a port somewhere else and Oju Kalio took the British to Diobu to meet the Ikwerre chiefs. He interpreted betwen the British and Ikwerres and money was paid to Diobu Chiefs. He duly signed for Ikwerre chiefs because he was literate. The names of the areas are there for all to see. they are Ikwerre names. Okrika has held to the fact that he signed the agreement to claim it. A simple question is those names of the land areas on the documents are they Ikwerre names? pls put this discuss to rest. |
lastempero:It wasn't really a collaboration between Ikwerres and Ijaws. Due to similarity in names and culture, the Okrikans(tho backed by all Ijaws) decided to play fast on Ikwerres by asking the FG to expel Ikwerres alongside Igbos from Phalga(then Obio-Akpor was still in Phalga). Their claim was that Ikwerre was Igbo, and should therefore suffer same fate as Igbos. It wasn't easy for the FG as Ikwerres showed ancestral proof of land ownership. with the help of the FG, Okrikans and Ijaws in general coveted almost all the properties of Igbos in Port Harcourt township. and assumed total control of the waterside within and around those areas. Okrikans in PH are all from Okrika and Ogu/Bolo LGA.. None is native to Phalga. |
Poloyanabo1:You see how ordinary use of English dey worry. so much for 40% simply means 40% cannot achieve all this is it's actually 40%. this is actually a percentage of already 80 going by the political dominance. all your housing developments are in sandfilled areas. what does that show you if not a lack of originality. |
Poloyanabo1:See this one.. Ikwerre own 47% of Phalga, yet out of 20wards in the LGA, Ikwerres are representing 16, while Okrika represent 4. out of 3 state Phalga constituencies in Rivers State House of Assembly, Ikwerres represent 2, while Okrika represent 1. out of 2 Phalga constituencies in National House of reps, Ikwerres represent 2 out of 2. Since the return to democracy, no Okrikans has been Mayor of Port Harcourt. All have been Ikwerres. So much for 47%. |
PFRB:I'm aware, he was a translator.. |
Donkalio:See this one.. Who did the British pay money to and how much did they pay and for what purposes?? If Seun pays 24Seven N1million for land in Eliozu. And Donkalio signed, what does it mean? |
Donkalio:See the rubbish you are writing and how elated you are writing this shi*t.. Ijaws man with help from FG chased Igbo from Port Harcourt in 1970s and Ikwerres begged Ijaws to stay in PH. When there are documents showing that in 1912 the British signed land agreement with Ikwerre. so 1912 and 1970 which came first. So Ikwerre begged Okrika so that Ikwerre can remain in their God given land. A land they allowed the British to use as port town in 1912.. May God have mercy on all of you liars. |
Poloyanabo1:I ain't got no beef with you or Okrikans. I just want to let you know that Trans-Amadi wasn't named after Amadi-Ama. When was Amadi-Ama even incorporated into Trans-Amadi, wasn't it with the creation of Odili road that some of those areas opened up.. Odili road of yesterday. Was Amadi-Ama in any plan?? If you want history class, pay and I will teach you.. |
NGpatriot, you are one of those Nigerians who fail to understand realities. If Oil is to become worthless, whatever IGR you feel Lagos has will crumble in your very before.. Do you know the sheer number of other businesses and financial transactions/obligations hinged solely on oil business. If oil fails, they fail. FYI, Gas industry is the next big thing. Rivers is primely positioned to it's fullest advantages. I've said it severally in this forum that Lagos has nothing on Rivers, except hype. When shit hits the fan, Rivers will stand strong. We got Seaports, NLNG, petrochemical facilities, Airports, Refineries, landmass etc. We can only get better. Our first step to getting there is right leadership.. People/businesses will always follow the money, and the money is in Rivers state. for example if Nigeria should split now, what will sustain Lagos?? You people should think objectively. Lagos is just an example of living a fake life with someone else's resources. A day of reckoning always awaits. |
Donkalio:Lolz.. first remove Isaka Town, it's in Okrika LGA, so that you appear like you don't know what you're doing. The rest as at when PH was created was simply waterlogged areas uninhabited by anyone. The whole PH is Ikwerreland and Ikwerres do not like to settle by water so when Okrikans and other Riverine people asked to live in those areas for ease of trade, they were obliged. Now it's a rude shock to hear you call yourselves original owner. just imagine. See this judgement.
|
Donkalio:I think say you type important thing sef |
Poloyanabo1:How did you arrive at the percentages... And who told you Trans-Amadi is named after Amadi Ama?? Amadi-Ama areas that wasn't the first parts of Trans-Amadi is what you feel you can now conveniently claim was named for it?.. You must be a joker.. I think you PH Ijaw settlers, for fear of being stranded in PH have resorted to revisionism. All manner of wayward claims have been hurriedly made and posted online. You think people don't read this rubbish and laugh at your foolery. The standard sharing formula is when driving into trans Amadi from the entrance ie from Garrison Junction, all offices on the right pays tax to Phalga, all those on left pays tax to Obalga. Ordinarily if not for that formula, confusion would have arose because of Ikwerre farmland system. |
You try. If you're living in Igwuruta, Aluu, Omagwa, Elele, Isiokpo.. No shaking. If you're living in Akpajo and other Eleme towns, no shaking.. Tho I personally believe Nigeria Police go still use people living in Akpajo and Igwuruta to shine.. Them go office you, if you no know LGA boundary... |
NGpatriot:Move to Lagos to drill for crude water?? Rivers State has bragging rights that Lagos doesn't have. |
