I don't really understand the need to stress oneself over issues beyond ones power. Igboland is landlocked and will forever be.

Anambra, has Rivers preventing her from direct access to the sea. Wassup with these illiterate people

I'm done with you since your problems will end if you are allowed to sight the moon. I'm sorry for not having the power to bring the moon close to your door step.

Meanwhile @ EODforce, I'm a christian and a proud one. People like you and most of your tribe' men are not worthy to be called chiristians because there is nothing christ-like in you at all. Most muslims and Traditionalists of yoruba extraction are more godly than you.
Most Nigerians who call themselves christians are not even qualified to make heaven street, much more the heavens gate. The habit of attending all church activities doesnt translate to true christianity.

Allow me to say that Igbos and every other well-meaning ethnic group/tribe stand on the side of justice. We condemn this unneccessary intimidation.

The way i see it, the Imam already had a history of confronting established order. They beneficiaries of such order will take no more 'nonesense' from him. So they want to pass a message across to those who might be having 'ideas'.

One love.

Politics › Re: JUST IN: See Where IPOB Declares As The Official Base For Biafra by 24SEVEN: 9:27am On Mar 24, 2017
@ExplorerReturns, you have made salient points. I would love the IPoB group to constantly agitate, provided its primary aim is ensuring the govt sits up and be responsible to its duties and obligations. The position of Igbos in Nigeria isnt that bad and not definitely not worse off when paled to other tribes/ethnicities. Just dat this skewed system of governance almost creates a dog eat dog scenario among the various tribes. All justling for positions and some resorting to undrhand tactics to get to the plum job. True federalism wil sort a host of Nigerias issues.

Secondly, IPoB are making an embarassment of Igbos by the way the court insults from smaller minorities who cannot match Igbos in any sphere of life. Why do you forcefully include unconsenting and ethinically different people into something that should be for Igbos alone. If we must leave, we should leave and form a nation state. This may also apply to Igboid groups who are undecided. We need only the willing and utterly convinced of all. As such, PH should not be Biafran capital but Owerri.

While both are bad, they arent the same thing. Ortom please take charge and ensure the safety of the life of Benue indigenes who are repeatedly being massacred by strangers to your state.

SW commands Nigeria's industrial base, financial and banking services, arts and entertainment base, the only viable seaports in Nigeria and 2 even larger deep seaports under construction, the only credible international airport in Nigeria, the largest refinery in Africa, the largest petrochemical plant in Africa, the largest fertilizer plant in Africa, the largest gas plant in Africa the main investment destination in Nigeria, the largest educated manpower in Africa, the largest concentration of global brands, and the 5th largest economy in Africa.

You are truly misinformed because the SW is the only potentially viable country.
Lagos, nay SWest are the major beneficiary of this unbalanced set up. Imagine how you sit in Lagos and enumarate the highs of Lagos. What you failed to ask yourself is how Lagos, without any natural resources, without any strong agricultural base arrived at its enviable position. You may point out its seaports but i may remind you that Rivers and Delta have ports. Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Ondo and Ogun due to their location on the Atlantic ocean could have made themselves another Lagos but they haven't and cannot because the Nigerian system make lagos the biggest beneficiary of its imbalance.

As far as Nigeria remains like this, every other state has nothing on Lagos. But should Nigeria split or practice true federalism, then will you know that Rivers has NLNG plant, two refineries, two airports, 2 seaports and the subsequent relocation of IOCs and the embassies of their countries to the Niger Delta region will leave Lagos in shattees. Lemme see what becomes of the financial hub, maritime hub and economic hub you're talking about. Your economy will only be comparable to Ghana.

Rivers state and the Niger Delta has limitless potentials, just let Nigeria stop this fraudulent system of government.

Ijaws really Need this. I congratulate Gov. Dickson for this very laudable work. The future of Ijaws and ijawland lies in education. Education and enlightenment that goes with it will help pull ijaws out of acute laziness, backward approach to issues and help them to understand the need to hold their leaders accountable for good governance and responsible leadership.

Kudos once again to Dickson, he has sown into Tue future.

I'm not wailing. I am a realist, not one who lies to himself nor live in a world of perpetual hopefulness. We are very different people, separated by our tribes, culture and religion. The country is only united by petrodollars. Clearly what disunites us is greater than what unites us. also there is no love lost between the various tribes, and very little to desire in Nigeria. Many people are disillusioned.

The dismemberment of Nigeria is a question of when and not if. The next SS or SE president will break it, bank on it. Nigeria can help herself by practicing true federalism, that will help alleviate the acute hate of country prevalent in Rivers state and SE. Not that it helps much, but it is a gradual process that eases the pains of an outright break up. It only helps to postpone doomsday/deliverance day.

Well, anything to give their broken hearts some soothing caress for a moment is okay. After all, they are out blothers. cheesy
I depict fear and uncertainty in your tone. Obviously you are scared shitless by the prospect of being trapped with Fulani's in Arewa republic. Its really a sorry situation to share a country with retards but you can't help it. You are neither Hausa, or Fulani or Igala or Tiv or Kanuri... and neither are you Yoruba(whom you side with your life. Yoruba never show you tribalism before). You're just one guy from a voiceless tribe about to be trapped in eternal abyss in the inevitable split of this fundamentally unbalanced and flawed setup called Nigeria.

That same pact that the Okrikans have been violating for years! I want you to name a single situation after the pact that the people of Eleme decided to encroach any land belonging to the Okrikas? Rather they've been trying for years to defend their lands.

The same thing with the neighbouring Ogoni towns. It is always the Okrikas that pull the first shots. Go way back and study the cause of the conflict, you'd know how violent your people are. You claim the People of Eleme spilled the first blood after the pact? My dear, this is not the first time it has happened after the pact. I don't know how well you've been following this issue but it has always been the Okrikas making moves.

The Okrikas know they don't have enough land that is why to keep up with development and expansion, they've been constantly encroaching lands belonging to their neighbours. Do you expect their neighbours to keep silent and watch their farmlands and forest taken away?

2015/2016 Alone : The Okrikas attacked Tai (Seme, Gio etc) , Attacked and took over the community of Ekporo killing the chiefs and youth leaders, tried attacking Onne (Which is impossible to take over) .

And you come on Nairaland to give claims that your people are loving and peaceful while history and facts has proven otherwise.
I lke the way you responded to him
