He does not have to come to Lagos. What he has to do is do his job by making sure Federal roads are constructed, there is proper urban planning and drainage system in the state. cool

No wonder your name na 2much. lol. I think the earlier they get used to their own room the better. Its much harder when the kid has grown small sense. He would feel lost but if the kid is younger, he can't lose what he never had.
grin grin grin grin. It gets worse as they grow older because they are now conscious of that extra person that sleeps with them. Which makes them feel safe, se cure and comfortable. If you dont take them out of your bed in time they begin to get anxiety and fear sleeping alone in a room. I know i was in my parents bed because i could not sleep without light. Once they try to turn the light off, before they reach their room i am there asleep. Dont start what you cant finish. The earlier the better. Maybe some kind of toy or teddy to sleep with will be an easier transition. cheesy . They had to disgrace me in front of my friends before i stopped. cheesy shocked

Family › Re: How Do You Tackle A Mother That Doesnt Approve Your Wife Even After Wedding by 2mch(m): 4:14pm On Jul 18, 2011
You are just looking for someone to blame for your problems. I am sorry about the loss of your wife and child, but i doubt your mother had anything to do with an accident. If it was a poisoning now then you can sit your mother down and ask her politely. I will advise that you channel your grief elsewhere. Your mother is not the witch doing you. If this is what your wife and her family have put in your head, please take it out. And distance yourself from such poisonous evil thoughts and evil people. Not because people (your mother) disagree with you on an issue, you blame them if it goes bad. She may have had her own personal reasons, nothing wrong with that. I am sure your mother is human with feelings. I suggest at this time you get closer to her, so that she can be there for you in your time of grief. You will need a strong support system to help you get over all this. This is not the time to blame anyone, or to go to places to verify what people are telling you. pastor will just chop your money. Sit down, and dont be ashamed to cry and show emotion. With time the pain will go away and you will be able to move on. Sometimes life gives us lemons, it is up to us to make lemonade out of it. If you want to blame anyone for your wife and sons death, the Nigerian government is responsible and the witch here. wink
Romance › Re: Will She Kill Me If I Dont Marry Her? 9yrs No Be Beans O! by 2mch(m): 4:48am On Jul 18, 2011
Why is it so hard for people to have conversations with who you are dating? After 9years I will think you can tell her all what you are telling us. Just tell her "look here maine, if you don't lose the weight and keep a healthy lifestyle before and after marriage I can't be with you" "its either you lose the damn weight or I walk out" . If she doesn't change then you are free to exit. You gave her fair warning. Never pity anyone and make them know marriage is for better for worse or they will relax. Same with your smallie. Everyone should know what you expect and that you don't expect them to feel you will relax on it after marriage. Only you will be in the marriage so do you. If she doesn't change after a fair warning and good communicatio, leave. Life is too short to spend with someone you are not attracted to.

grin grin. Your wife is a very lucky woman. I don't think any of my siblings spouses can insult our mother and get away with their lives. shocked . She should go down on her knees and apologise to everyone in the family. Any debt she incurred from misbehaving should be paid by her. Tell her to get a job. Also warn her for the last time about misbehaving and disrespecting herself outside. If she should try it again, pack her load and deposit the empty barrel at her parents foot steps. This reflects very bad up bringing. This agbero will shorten your life span. Not worth it. She has no home training. I don't think she realises she can lose her home yet. Be real with her and tell her angry

Why are you asking us all these questions? You should be asking him all these. How are we supposed to know when you don't know? Its best you have a PHONE conversation with him on the issue. Be straight to the point about it, and don't take any diversions. If the guy makes you nervous write down all the questions you have before he calls the next time and keep it in a place easily accessible so you can ask these questions. Personally this is why 1 night stands unprotected are not advisable. Anyone that will do that is not operating at full mental capacity. He also seems to be a bit unstable. I don't think he is mentally all there. Goodluck

Romance › Re: 24 Mistake She Made, Can We Really Judge Women by 2mch(m): 10:10pm On Jul 15, 2011
MOBO999:
June 24th it all came to an end, We have watched from a distance as the entire country became engulfed in the butchering of the late sky bank employee (Don’t want to call her name for personal reason) by her Husband, may her soul rest in peace, She went to the same University with me, same faculty, same department, just that I was one or two years ahead of her, may her soul rest in peace.

The Husband have been called names, everyone has washed their hands off him even his family, friends and his Church, but we have tried to see what went wrong in this once happy family, most people now hate the Yoruba race with passion as red as blood itself.

(1) He lost his job, looked to his wife for understand and support, found none in a marriage already in doubt.
(2) He began to ask her for financial assistance, she gave, gave pocket money for Mr Biggs, we know women, don’t we.
(3) He lost his friends, family neglected him, Wife deserted him, he now questioned the marriage (Her mistake).
(4) She lost respect for him, leaned closer to her family, talked and gossiped about him with her sisters and relative.
(5) Her family no longer respected him; he was now a nobody in their eyes, cos their daughter is now holding the cheque book.
(6) She came home late most time, we know how bank jobs are like, he refused to understand, the fight started.
(7) He started cooking his meal himself (her mistake), hanged out with other low life and crossed cultured.
(0) She focused more on her job and money making, Husband Found solace in the bosom of other women in Lagos, (They re all over Nigeria, such women), marriage disintegrate further.
(9) She became a big girl, lots of phone calls, he got angry, she shopped at big boutique, he got infuriated, She got promoted, has large salary, he hated her.
(10) She refused to show concern to his flight, he has nowhere to turn to, frustration turns to recession.
(11) She no longer consult him, she now takes decision without telling him, but when he was working, they both worked  and planned together, recession turns to depression.
(12) She now goes to wedding and other occasion alone, she has a big car, she brought with a lot of money, He dies within emotionally.
(13) The insult continues, the fight wont stop, she told him to be a man and get a job (but we all know the Nigeria economy, don’t we).
(14) He now does the House husband job, feed baby, bath baby, cook for baby and take baby strolling.
(15) His bank account goes red, wife refused to top it up, It tough in Lagos when you don’t have a job.
(16) Things get worse, she packs to her family house, he goes more frustrated, she return after lots of begging and family intervention, he lose his pride.
(17) She takes flight to other state for bank training and conference, he takes Okada and use wify car when she allows.
(18) Love making stops, he is now too small for her.
(19) She sometimes make divorce threat she knows very well she has no intention of acting on, just a threat to spite him, he hated her more.
(20) Family from both sides comes in from time to time to settle them after each fight, he lose more face,
(21) She buys shares, plans to build a big flat somewhere and make travel plans to the United State of America for vacation, he need money for his Master at Unilag.
(22) She now gossips him to neighbours and colleagues, that he is not a Man, he keep going down.
(23) His birthday approaches’, more quarrel, more fight, more insults.
(24) His birthday, she comes home, no care, no card, no kiss, none concern, more insult, more be a Man, more curse, he snapped, He lost is, it was Murder.
Guy are you trying to justify domestic violence and murder? This is not something that should be made fun of as somebody lost their lives. Not one of your st*upid stories. Ewu nama. You better know the limit to your stupidity. I*diot. The mods should close this thread. Respect the dead and respect yourself. Da8ft huh
Politics › Re: The Black Race: The 'curse'? by 2mch(m): 9:33pm On Jul 15, 2011
There is no so called "black Curse". Every nation that got tired of corruption and bad leaders did so via a revolution. France, USA and so many other great countries today got where they are because they rejected business as usual. Maintaining the status quo has never helped anyone. It doesnt even help the greedy leaders because at their death, it only takes one of their children to squander all the stolen wealth. Then their future generations begin to wallow in poverty and lack they created by their greed. When the time comes and Nigerians decide, enough is enough. The whole of Africa will change. If there is change in Nigeria, Africa has hope. We just need to grow a conscience.

and that's why the clamour for resource control is on the increase. Leave petro dollars on the side, do you know such a huge portion of VAT is collected from lagos alone ? Unfortunately that same money is remitted to the federal coffers and just a fraction of it is sent back to lagos during distribution.
A new formula has to designed by Okonjo-Iweala if the govt is really serious about getting this thing right
Then Lagos needs to renegotiate the fraction it is given back because of the burden of the Nigerian population moving to Lagos daily. What Lagos gets from the FG is simply not enough to sustain the state. I wish someone like Gani can rise up in our generation and start suing the FG for all these atrocities. huh
Crime › Re: Pictures Of Mutilated Titi Arowolo- Horror! by 2mch(op): 8:17pm On Jul 15, 2011
Siena:
Is this the same Titilayo that was killed by her husband? And he claims she mutilated and killed herself?
The exact same person. You can see how her hands were stabbed, showing she was trying to use her hands to defend herself from being stabbed or killed. It looks like he pinned her down on the bead and started stabbing from her position. Her neck also looks like it was slit with a very sharp blade. This is a case of overkill. Only someone with intense hatred can do this. People in abusive relationships should see these pictures and open their eyes.

EzeUche:
This is my advice to ACN, forget getting any support from this government.

PDP is out to destroy your  party.

You are absolutely right, they are trying to score political points, but I still would not expect anything from the FG. That is the reason why you region voted for ACN.
It is not about ACN or PDP, it is about human life and human rights. These are basic needs that the government should provide. The government and not the state is responsible for adequate drainage and urban planning. Failure to do this will only reflect failure on PDP and not ACN as it is the FG that is failing on its responsibility. They are also spoiling potential investment opportunities in Nigeria. Imagine investors coming to invest in a country that cannot plan against a flood? Does not even have a functioning drainage system? There should be an outrage against this, Mark should be ashamed that he let his mouth blab on this issue. He sounds like an illiterate. This is not about party affiliation but its citizens.  As for impeachment, i think the senate can vote to impeach Mark.

EzeUche:
It is unfortunate that people lost their lives, but I will ask you again, when did the FG has ever protected its citizens? Can you even answer that question? I can use a recent example of Odi.
From that article all that was asked for was a fund to create adequate drainage in the state and also for the FG to fix its infrastructure. But they refer a whole state to "Ecological Fund". Which type of crazy people do we even have in the senate. Their psychological health cannot be vouched for. Afterall Lagos bears the burden of having people from all over the country in one state, at the highest proportions. It is also the face of Nigeria. FG should do more to make Lagos safe and habitable. It is not one of those states that you can win anything by withholding funds. You only make it easier for people to reject PDP at the polls and very easy for ACN to score political points.
