Walkopet: premechaz: . Maybe he should look at the subject the child is most brilliant in and encourage the child to pursue that field. It appears in this report card na farmer favor the pickin pass. Nothing wrong with farming, people are multi millionaires from farming. Instead of wasting time being a marketer at a bank, your son could have been an industrious farmer, employing many Nigerians. |
This is what we get when people appoint their friends in sensitive positions. Imagine the IGP that GEJ appointed. When there are people like Akpoyibo. Nigeria, brace up. |

boy t:Extremist Buhari and now Dictator Jona. We shall see na. How many dictators have survived Nigerian political climate? Not even in military rule. If Jona knows he won that election why all the jumping about and making ridiculous decisions? Someone with nothing to hide will ply the straight and narrow. This cannot and will not stand otherwise Nigeria is better off non existent. There is a constituion for a reason, to make all the arms of government independent. Sooner or later, Jona will make himself judge, jury and executioner. The same 2/3rds of the senate are needed to do a lot of damage. It is best Jona doesnt burn bridges. The SW will happily give the North what they want if he does not act cautiously. We are watching. Tell me when it was a crime to refuse to apologize to a politician? Thank God it is Salami today, what will happen to a regular citizen that refuses to apologize? Firing squad abi? |
Partick Obahaigbon sums up this bullsh*t: "The presidential imprimatur to the putrescent judicial makossa dance that has pestiferously and scabrously oozed out of the Salami/Alugate, indubitably suggests that all presidential posturings on the rule of law for a period of eon now, amounts to nothing but a mandibular skullduggery and vacuous shenanigan which should and must be pulverized." - Patrick Obahiagbon" ![]() Salami will prevail and NJC and his other co conspirators will be put to shame. This is a very obvious subversion of justice and Nigerians are not stupid. Shame on all the actors in this 50kobo movie. |

With the way shell is moving out, it may even be a lot sooner. They have abandoned ship. . It will now come to the time that Nigeria's will tear thieves apart. We are getting there. The people that have stolen should start making their 10yr plans to runaway. Because once the oil runs out, they will be the new revenue generating product. |
very good, it now seems Bayelsa and the south south is up for grabs. This will not change anything as ethnic groups will still vote along ethnic lines. The majority will always carry the vote. GEJ should focus more on regional government because this removal of state of origin will speed up the absolute disintegration process for Nigeria. Every group will start to fight all over the country at the same time. It is too late for this. |
Fake Video Evidence- Almustapha is a mental case Former chief security officer to then military dictator, Sanni Abacha, played a video in a Lagos court today showing some Yoruba leaders leaving the meeting with former military head of state, General Abdusalam Abubakar. The video footage which he claimed was shot by his personal bodyguard revealed the face of late Chief Abraham Adesanya, Chief Bola Ige and the former secretary to the National Democratic Coalition, Ayo Opadokun at the Aso Rock Villa. The video did not seem to contain the explosive material it promised journalists and lawyers who had waited anxiously for it today. The video showed that late Abraham Adesanya and his entourage were confronted by journalists who asked them about the details of the meeting with the head of state. Adesanya responded to one of the questions that, ''no agreement that has been reached with the Head of state, other than that he will consider the proposal before him." Curiously, when asked about Abiola's death, Pa Adesanaya said ''I wouldn't know'' Also asked about the agitation for a Government of National Unity (GNU) and the actualization of June 12 mandate, he replied that the GNU will still be there. "It is only that it won't be Abiola that will head the GNU.'' referring to the winner of the June 12 elections that was annulled by the military in 1993. When asked about replacement for Abiola, he said ''we are not proposing anybody yet.'' Adesanya delegation then asked journalists to leave when asked about the length of the planned talks with the military authorities. In his testimony, Al Mustapha said that the group's departure from the Villa was recorded on an ordinary camera by his bodyguard. In today's dramatic testimony in open court, Mustapha made a series of claims in further testimony including claims that former EFCC chairman, Nuhu Ribadu, tried to assassinate him after escorting him to Lagos. He said he was saved by the Mike Okiro, the commissioner of police of Lagos at the time. Mustapha also tendered a copy of the letter he wrote to Bola Ige in 2001 accusing Ige of complicity in Abiola's ''murder''. The former CSO had made series of claims in the last three days , led in evidence by his lawyers claiming that Chief Moshood Abiola, the winner of the June 12 presidential election was murdered by General Abdusalam. He also claimed that some members of the opposition were complicit in Abiola's death. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/al-mustapha-video-showed-court-claims-ribadu-tried-assasinate-him |

emmatok:Gbam! Emmatok is highly mouthed. . This is the issue we should be facing. It is obvious Al Mustapha is a mental case or michevious. Even the video tape shows nothing. |
As far as i am concerned he is really rambling in circles. He is not saying anything because these people are dead. Surely not only two people can share $200million, so he needs more proof of people alive. Bola Ige and Adesanya didnt have the clout to rouse tensions and frankly they do not fit the bill. I am convinced this man is acting out of spite because Yoruba's are prosecuting him. So he is trying to destabilize the Yoruba's and divert attention from the fact that he killed Kudirat. He has also pointed out Abdulsalam as the real killer of Abiola. I think Yoruba's should focus on these two facts. Abdulsalam should be arrested and tried for the murder of Abiola. Al mustapha and Sofolahan should be sentenced to life in jail for the murder of Kudirat. |

Onlytruth:Lol, you talk like a big fool. Have you heard, here and there. Rumor monger, agogo. rotflmao. Very daf*t individual. Even when the proof is there. ![]() |
Abeg the FG has screwed every region in the arse. If we all fight for them to return our resources, some of you will have to give up land and houses. It comes with the territory, so take it like that. If they get their oil back, we in Lagos will get our land and all our roads back. ![]() |
Onlytruth: Onlytruth:hahahahhahahahahhaha! foo*l. Your IQ is like that of a mustard seed. See your comments sounding like a mumu. The people that are sold fake goods are very low income people. So your thought that anyone controls huge business is crap. You are talking out of ignorance. The only people that control big business in Lagos are those that can afford to sell authentic products. Even sweets for little kids, Igbo traders will sell fake. This is a very big problem to a very high percentage of people. And people now prefer to ask relatives abroad to send things for them than to buy from the market. This is why most traders have to carry drugs to sustain themselves. People will rather invest in quality TV's than buy TV or AC that will work for one week. . Ode. Igbo are not the next largest population in Lagos. And even if they are, they are not more that 15%. Quote me on that. Are you focusing on the polls that GEJ wanted to use the fact that Igbo's trade all over Nigeria to back up his numbers? abegi make we hear word. Agogo. |
Evil Brain:You are being very defensive and taking this very personal. I am of the opinion of live and let live. I see articles of ga*y associations in Nigeria, so there is a support group for you if you want to jump out of the closet. Nothing wrong with that. . You are the little boy for crying all over this page. You are man-lover, just accept and move along. Express your right to freedom and your leanings, it is a free world. ![]() |
Onlytruth:Oh shut up. Igbo's are very good with propaganda. There maybe 10 Igbo's in one place, but the way they will shout you will think there are 10,000. If you are so passionate about Lagos, why do you go back to your state during holidays? There is still a connection to the east not so? Why not develop your state? One cannot have loyalty to both places. Pick one and change ethnicity otherwise, this is just lala land. A Yoruba can never be Ggovernor of an Igbo state, they will even be killed for suggesting such. Likewise, Yoruba will never let it happen. This is Nigeria afterall. |
nagoma:It is not about the statutory situation, it is just their way of life in Lagos. A high population, means more investments and more people to sell your goods to. This has always been the case. But this was the case mostly for the surrounding Yoruba states in the old days. Of recent it has grown to include the whole of Nigeria, because of better road networks and infrastructure (Although terrible). We should also realise that it was Lagos Island that was the capital, not the whole Lagos. And Lagos Island is hardly the best part of Lagos. |
Evil Brain:You did not answer the question. You have been very defensive. If you are this defensive, then there is nothing wrong in telling us why. It just seems like a very close topic to you. ![]() |
In case you didnt realise, Nairaland is also filled with teenagers with a lot of impulsive behavior. This is why you see unnecessary insults flying left and right. |
nagoma:Lagos was named Capital because of its strategic location and already thriving commercial hub. Before the days of the whites and even during slavery lagos was already thriving as a commercial hub. This is why it was made a Capital for so long. And also why Oyinbo's found it easier to govern from Lagos. It was already thriving and the people were very used to dealing with foreigners and being very accommodating to them. Even before whites came, Lagos witnessed a heavy of influx of people especially Yoruba's from other states because of its easy access to the sea. It has always had a high population of people. People should stop lying that Lagos is what it is because it was a state capital. Why didnt Calabar and even Abuja attain such heights? The fact is without being the capital, Lagos will still have grown to its potential. Its ports especially make it what it is, and also the ingenuity of its indegenes. They were always heavy traders in all kinds of goods. Slaves, pepper, fish e.t.c |
Seum:How do you know this? You seem so angry. Did he do and did not pay? |
seanet02:Al Mustapha is hallucinating from too much prison time, he is begining to see dead people. Ige and Adesanya must be tormenting him in prison. ![]() |
RIP, this is poison from garri that is not well processed. I think Nigeria should look into restricting the making of our traditional staples to companies or industries that can be traced if this type of thing should happen. Right now, any individual can take up garri processing and sell. . |
apoti:Gbam! My point exactly. I was expecting to see some really embarrassing and strong evidence. He must be going insane in the prison. Ige and Adesanya didnt have the power alone to stop reprisal attacks and an all out war. So if what he is saying is true, these people he mentioned were not bad enough. If it was Adedibu, Ooni or OBJ now, then it will be believable. But not these two. |
Forgery Of $100 Dollar Bills: U.S. Officials Confirm Active Bench Warrant For Imo Deputy Gov, Jude Agbaso By Saharareporters, New York A senior clerk at the District Court in Nassau County in New York has confirmed to SaharaReporters that a bench warrant issued by a district court judge with respect to current deputy governor of Imo State, Jude Ikechi Agbaso, remains valid and in force. According to the Court Officer, Mr. Agbaso faces arrest on felony charges related to currency fraud if he attempts to pass through any US Immigration post. Our investigation revealed that Mr. Agbaso jumped bail in 1994 after United States law enforcement authorities obtained his arrest in a forgery sting. In the devastating court records obtained by SaharaReporters from the Nassau County Clerk’s office in the State of New York, it was revealed that Jude Ikechi Agbaso and an accomplice, Eugene Harding, were arrested on June 20 1994 and charged with “criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree. ” The incident, according to the police and court records, began at 2 p.m. on June 20, 1994. Mr. Agbaso and his accomplice, Eugene Harding, were nabbed allegedly trying to defraud Abraham & Straus Department Store on Roosevelt Field, Old Country Road in Carle Place. The store later became Macy’s Department Store in 1995. The pair reportedly attempted to purchase unspecified merchandise using counterfeit $100 bills some of whose serial numbers were recklessly duplicated. A grand jury which examined initial evidence in the case determined that Mr. Agbaso should be indicted for violating section 170.30 of the penal law of the State of New York. The charges were as follows: that Agbaso, “aided and abetted by another, on or about the 20th day of June, 1994, in the County of Nassau, State of New York, with knowledge that it was forged and with intent to defraud, deceive or injure another, the defendant uttered or possessed a forged instrument of a kind specified in section 170.15 of the Penal Law which was a written instrument which was or purported to be or which was calculated to become or to represent if completed part of an issue of money, stamps, securities or other valuable instruments issued by a government or government instrumentality, to wit: US currency.” At the time of the alleged offence, Agbaso, born January 23, 1958, resided at 112 Front Street, Freeport, NY. Mr. Agbaso held permanent residency status, and entered the US six and half years earlier, the records said. Mr. Agbaso’s bail was set on June 23, 1994 at $10,000. The bail was posted by a female named Anna Laurence Levielle, described as his fiancée who resided at the same address. Mr. Agbaso was granted a “conditional release,” which required that he report to probation as ordered, refrain from illegal behavior, appear in court on demand, notify probation of changes in address or employment, and answer all reasonable inquiries by probation. However, on July 11, 1994, Agbaso failed to appear in court and Judge John Pessala issued a bench warrant for Mr. Agbaso’s arrest. The bond posted by Ms Leveille was forfeited on August 11, 1994. On Dec. 30, 1994, Mr. Agbaso was indicted. His indictment number is 90454. The forfeiture was classified as felony No. 16117/94. Judge Claire I. Weinberg signed the indictment documents. For each forged bill, Agbaso was charged with one count of fraud, for a total of seventeen counts. His accomplice was charged with six counts of fraud. Officer Kenneth Taylor of the 3rd Precinct was the arresting officer. He has since retired from the force. On April 10, 2011, the Imo State Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) challenged anyone to prove that Mr. Agbaso was guilty of jumping bail in the United States. The APGA official was responding to questions posed by Nicholas Ibekwe. The interview was posted on Next Community website. Asked about claims that Mr. Agbaso, who is a younger brother of a one-time gubernatorial candidate, was a fugitive in the United States, the APGA state chairman went on the attack, vouching for Mr. Agbaso’s integrity. “I know Jude Agbaso. I know he is not a criminal. If there is an allegation against him, they should prove it. Now that they have gone to the court, let the court decide.” Asked further if the allegations of Mr. Agbaso’s fugitive past could not hurt his party’s campaign, the APGA chieftain refused to back down. Instead, he stated that “people say all sorts of things. There was a propaganda some time ago that Rochas belonged to the Ogboni Secret Society. Why didn't they say it all along? He has been screened. I screened them; my committee screened them, and the SSS screened them. So if all this processes took place, how do you get your information? Okay, go to a court of law and let it be proved.” Meanwhile, an Owerri Federal High Court presided over by Justice Folashade Olubanjo granted Mr. Agbaso permission to run for office, after Mr. Mike Ozekhome, SAN, filed a motion on behalf of Mr. George Egu. At the height of the controversy, APGA chiefs openly lied to Imo citizens that Mr. Jude Agbaso traveled to the United States and returned without any incident. SaharaReporters did not find any evidence that Mr. Agbaso has visited the United States since he fled justice in 1994. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/forgery-100-dollar-bills-us-officials-confirm-active-bench-warrant-imo-deputy-gov-jude-agb |

parisienne:You can still send a request to them with your birth certificate. Hopefully your birth certificate has your mothers name, city of orgin and birth, and her date of birth on it. This information can help them verify what they have on file about her. If she truly naturalized you, a copy of your birth certificate will also be on their file. If your information is accurate, they will respond positively. You can also include some evidence of her mental instability if you have any (her address), so that the immigration officials can verify the information from her health records. Do you not have some relatives in London that can help you out? I doubt if your mother who is suffering from mental illness will be carrying around your naturalization papers. It will be a miracle if she knows where it is. It does not matter if you were born in Nigeria. Do proper research on the case, i am sure there will be a way out especially if your mother is not capable of helping you get this. But work fast, should anything happen to her before you can make progress, getting it will become a lot more difficult. I also think it would be best if you can call their home office in London and talk to someone to help you understand the whole process. |
I think the home office will have a copy of your naturalization certificate. It seems you were most likely born in the UK. All you have to do is take your authentic birth certificate or contact the hospital you were born in for your records. If you take this to the embassy and they verify it as authentic, you should be able to get a passport issued to you. The key is your birth certificate, which will show that you are your mother's child, and then investigations could proceed from there. It will also help you a lot more to get an immigration lawyer if you can afford it. |
