Nope... I to be frank with you, that is the hardest way to sell a domain name. WHY? you may end up waiting forever and get no buyer, especially if your domain is worthless. sales that come through those kind of sites are premium quality with ages on the domain name.

I dont sell domain by waiting for sites like Sedo, Moniker, Afternic, Godaddy... I have my method. so, it is not. doing that is like waiting for the mountain to come to mohammed. Owners of those domains that are sold through this webistes have had them there for months before someone found it and bought it.

I just understood online that one can register domains at such places like godaddy and moniker. Do you guys know of other better registrars?

It is good to use Godaddy for ease of transfer. That is because most times, you find out that your buyer is on Godaddy.

I had a hard time battling with the buyer of PropertyForSaleInMiChigan.com. It took me series of emails to convince him to use my registrar which was namecheap.com. But it is not in all cases that you find a buyer that will in on the same registrar. So, you just have to be able to convince them.

In my case, I had to open another account for the buyer and then push the domain over to him there. And this because you can not transfer a newly registered domain to another registrar if it is less that 60 days. That is the rule by ICANN( Domain Registration Governing Body)

The key is finding a low competitive niche abut profitable at the same time.

Then you write quality articles. You dont stop writing. You keep on doing it while you build backlinks.

But there is one guy at warrior forum who claim that he never does anything like backlink and any of those stuff.

The way he said it, it is obvious that he target only low competitive niches...

I once spoke to a guy whom wanted me to help him look for domain names and also help him sell it. I never contacted him thereafter. That is one reason why people get scammed.

Rule 1: Never give anyone money to someone to help you invest or make money for you. Instead of that, acquire the knowledgs and know how it is done.

There is also another nairalander who lost N70k to someone( I dont want to mention name). He gave money to the guy to help register domain name, host website and then flip the website. what was the result? 70k gone.

The guy is currently my friend and to make matter worse, he has lost his job.

That guy calling me names does not even know a modicum of what I have done here.

How I wish Zeddicu were here to tell the whole forum how my motivation and advice landed him in his current job. And that was after he got scammed by exploitation of his precious time to write over 200 articles. It was a bargain to get money made from site sold. In the end, site was sold without he getting paid in return.

Imagine that for a minute. Over 200 articles written and no money made.

He came here to lament and out of concern, I ask that he contact me. But right there in the forum, he said I would scam him.

I understand and didnt say a word to him. I had even forgotten him when contacted me out of the blue.

At that time, I was about to sell a site on flipper. With encouragement, we got on well and he set his site to write article and promoted the site via twitter. That was how he got his first client to write 20 articles for $100... Thereafter a British firm contacted him to write for them as a test... Based on passion, he wrote the articles quickly and sent. He didnt even know there was a job behind it and that's how he got the job and currently receiving over 200k...

Your creativity comes into play when you can spot quality names and register them for cheap and possibly sell high.

They want me to leave Sedo and park with them and they promise to do better than Sedo.

I havent done that because they failed to tell me which of my name they saw at sedo. I even sent the founder of the company an email this morning.

No mind them o. They are quite new into the industry and are fighting tooth and nail to get customers.

I heard sedo was like that but today, they don't care about you.
