This why Nigeria is what it is today, you go to the hospital, school, etc and people are so reluctant to the job they are paid for. I have only met a very few people who are so deligent in what they do. I remember my secondary schoool physics teacher back then. Strike or no strike, this man continues to do his job. He loves what he does.

If you are not paasionate about what you do, then there is no need to take such job. Some will even act as if you and them had a quarrel before.

Take a look at all the abandoned project in Nigeria. What do you think is the major cause? Is it not because nobody is monitoring them? At my school, some staff will delibrately tell you to come back but arent doing anything at that time.. This the Nigeria where people are so quick to point fingers to top government officials for one problem or the other, but they fail to blame themselves also for the nonchalant behaviour exhibited at various levels.

It is in this case that they are not leaders but Good Luck, Fashola, Oshiomole, Governor Obi, Oduaghan, etc are the only leaders. Who is fooling who?

This same thing happened to me some weeks back...

I left school with a broke pocket after project and all that... I had my modem broken while at school as a result of giving out my pc.

I needed money badly, there was no one to help. I came on Nairaland and joined https://www.nairaland.com/1023259/guys-lets-talk-business and contibuted a little of my knowledge but also swallowed my pride and begged for help with modem.

I didnt want anybody to give me money, just the modem and an internet connection.

As God would have it, a member based in the US sent me the money for the modem and internet connection. I got another help from a friend who gave me 10k out of the 10, I invested under 5k to register a domain name and sold the same domain name to a realesatate company in the US and this happened in less than 7 days.

I was paid $500... not bragging. I know some people might be wondering how could someone pay me for just a domain name, but the truth is that the way we view business here in Nigeria is very different from what a white will view it.

I have reinvested the money and repeating the whole process all over again.

There are still some good people in Nigeria and from Nigeria. May God bless us all
