Donkenzy47: Hello, Fellow NairaLanders, am actually a newbie who is planning on going seriously into blogging by end of this year (because the stuffs i need are not yet available) and i need advice from the gurus in the house. From my research concerning webhosting companies, i have decided to choose these two hosting companies as my top webhosting companies (because they seem cheap and have a slightly admirable user review unlike some other companies and also 99.9% server is guaranteed according to users). But my problem is that some users complain of bluehost having server downtime issues while some complain of that of hostgators. Please i need the gurus in the house to give me advice on this and i will also appreciate it if you can give the name of a particular website using any of the companies, the name of the company, the hosting plan, and issues you might like me to consider before making my purchase. Please note that this website am planning of working will be advertised through google adwords and will likely have a huge traffic. Thanks My brother, just stick with BlueHost. Hostgator is a NIGHTMARE!. You could just wake up one day and all your works has been disappeared into the tin air. |

Yoruba will never pull your governors names like that since we don't know their names, neither do we care what goes on in your region. You guys are just too obsessed with us. So how are you going to live without us, with this level of obsession? Of all the problems you have , you still think about us 80% of the time, scary! No matter how much you try, you will never be Yoruba. I don't like responding to people like you cos just one line will make you call the mods on my asss. You ilks are the problem of this country. ISpiksDaTroof: I actually just told the dolt the same thing even before I saw your write up.
Some people are destined to be wretched for life, its in their genes and DNA. It is their destiny. Don't ever try to stop them from achieving the nothing they were put on this earth for. True, but you know their existence is undermining the progress of many of us who aren't bought over by these politicians. They do not know the magnitude of their disposition and people like these do not have a bird's eye-view of the repercussion. It therefore become our duty to try to correct them. It is so sad because they feel "it's just about my survival" and forget that they will have kids, who will bear more kids and will likely be subjected to the bitter pills of the seed they sow. Look at Tinubu and the wealth that man has. He is not an Entrepreneur but a politician. Dangote's grand father was a millionaire and so has been their entire lineage but WHO is Tinubu's father? He just clocked 64 and therefore how did he rapidly amass such wealth with a space of 30+ years? I laughed the other day when they were celebrating his "success" story. Quite pathetic to say the least. I have lost hope in this country... Nigeria will never be great and anyone who thinks otherwise is having nothing but a pipe dream and building castle in the air. How can Nigeria be great when people allow themselves to be used by corrupt politicians and manipulate the system? Why won't the loot when they have bribed the people who they are supposed to serve, which is technically a business wherein business man have to recoup their investment and subsequently make profit. |

phlemzy: It's not a lost fight yet. Tho it's sad we found ourselves where we are ryt now. If we flash back, voting Jonathan for another 1 term wasn't in the option. As Nigerians, we need to have a change of orientation of having to vote people that are politically popular, or most popular party. We need to start looking beyond parties. There's the need intense background checks for whoever we want to vote for. Giving people in not too popular parties a chance wouldn't be a bad idea, provided findings show that they are very likely to deliver. Its total madness that an outgoing governor will plan to go turn the NASS to a place he'll spend the rest of his life, even though he doesn't have much impact to make in the house. Its high time we change our orientation as electorates. If this trend will have to continue, five decades to come, we may still be revolving around the same circle. Trust me, Nigerians will never do what you propose here and that why advocated that KOWA should market themselves. SEEING is BELIEVING |

989900: You know the economic situation in the country since the mid 80s has taken it's toll on our populace (education-wise), churning out literate-illiterates, unemployable grads, and intellectual midgets (with knack for inanities like Toyin A, Tonto D, and e.t.c) with 'too long can't read syndrome'.
Our older uncles and aunts with the old 'standard 6' and 'modern 3' are more studious, literate, and civil than this new lot.
The media isn't helping either. |
