You made sense. Maybe the APC should then come out for once communicate more. People are more frustrated with the general ignorance of government's direction and reasons for policies. Of course it might not soothe frayed nerves or reduce the inconveniences but at least people will know.

BAT is a colossus no doubt and that had been his greatest undoing with PMB. The only ambition BAT dropped in 2015 was his vp slot and that was because PMB and his advisers couldnt fathom a colossus such as BAT as his VP. The Muslim Muslim argument was used to back it up. The compensation was for him to handpick another VP and wait after 8 years to takeover.

The only reality on ground is that BAT should be eternally grateful to PO. Without PO in the race, AA presidency is only but a done deal. PO had the opportunity to do the simple arithmetics BAT did with PMB in 2015 that we called a strategic move, but no. To PO, the presidency is not about a personal ambition or a predator stalking its prey, it's all about service.

I just hope you never believed that story from day 1. I watched some people praise him for this in 2015. Well the truth was that the original agreement was for BAT to deputize GMB who will then hand over to him after 8 years. At least those people who praised him 8 years ago can now see that BAT lied when he said he sacrificed his vp slot. Sai baba never trusted BAT enough to make him his vp.
