I don't see anything wrong with the picture. A closer look by zooming it reveals that the edge of the bench will not allow the boy's wheel to get any closer. The edge of the bench can still contain one more pupil and if that space had been occupied, it won't appear as if he was kept at a distance. And posing in front of other children will prevent them from appearing in the picture. The photographer also covered everybody fully thus, the boy needed not to "crane his body towards other children" as his mother puts it. I understand how she feels but she seems not to have psychologically gotten over her son's condition. Emotional people are difficult to relate with as they will hastily read meaning to what you do to them. I have dealt with a lady like this in the past.
By the way, why did they blur the faces of other children leaving that of the boy and adult?

Yeah, the argument, abuses, analysis, shouting e.t.c can be interesting but I can't trade my comfort for any of those. Most viewing centres are not conducive at all. You sit on benches with nothing to lean on, they cover the whole cubicle in order to prevent unauthorized access thereby making the centre stuffy, what about terrible odour oozing out of angry and fanatical fans who will certainly remain restless throughout the match..and so on. The last time I watched a football match at the viewing centre, I walked back home like a gorilla due to back ache. So OP, me I no gbadun am at all.
