They promote their body & not the song. Being beautiful is now a talent |

It would be very normal for me to promote my products with an iPhone because I'm not an ambassador of any smartphone brand, but it would be very inappropriate for a company who is into Smartphone production to promote their brand whilst using another brand. In this case of inappropriateness, Samsung was found guilty of supposedly using an iPhone to promote their Galaxy Note 9 model on Twitter. Like, I would not want to be the one in this situation, it's kind of hard imagining the brand damage that has been done with those few tweets. It might have lasted a few seconds but the Internet never forgets and is always quick to Munch. The Tweet was discovered by a self acclaimed Twitter police, MKBHD who retweeted and quoted the tweet about Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s AMOLED display which was Tweeted using an iPhone. The Nigerian Samsung's @SamsungMobileNG Twitter then went on to delete the tweet and also deactivated their account to sway off further embarrassments. Currently @SamsungMobileNG is back as if nothing ever happened but surely the Internet never forgets. Source: https://www.gklited.com/2018/12/samsung-promotes-their-galaxy-note-9.html |

So if your thinking that your popular paid apps e.g Adobe Photoshop are the only alternatives then you're wrong. There are open source apps out there that serves as alternatives to the paid ones when there isn't enough funds to secure them, especially for us students. Here's a Quick one.... 1. Adobe Photoshop: This one needs no intro though, it's a Software for composing and creating raster images in layering format. Simply for photo editing and deep manipulation. ALTERNATIVE: Gimp: Free/Open source vector imaging editor. It's really free, you can substitute it for Photoshop and carry out with your work. 2. Microsoft Office: As the name implies, it's a software for calculating, computing, slides presenting, word processing, imputing spreadsheets and so many more. MS Office is one of the most popular apps ever, with subsets like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. well it's not free doesn't mean that we wouldn't carry out office functions altogether. ALTERNATIVE OpenOffice and LibreOffice. Both apps are very free and they're open sourced. They too possess similar functions to MS Word. 3. Virtual DJ Needs no introduction for the deejay's. For mixing, scratching and other Disk Jocking functions, i strongly recommend this app. But if you don't wanna scratch the surface by toiling with your savings you can try... ALTERNATIVE. MIXXX is my best alternative to Virtual DJ. It's still free and open source. 4. Windows OS The four squared boxes Windows is kinda expensive in this part of the world. Its the most used OS for PCs all over the world. You can't buy the disk? Shouldn't be problem ALTERNATIVE Ubuntu: Based on Linux kernel, it's an operating system that's open source and free. The UI/UX is too classy and clean, it looks expensive but free, they're mainly preferred by programming geeks because of it's apt abilities 5. WinRAR Also another popular app for opening digital archives such as RAR, zip, 7z, etc. Well if you don't like the price, you can as well go for the free one... ALTERNATIVE 7zip: it does virtually the same things that winRAR would do but with no pricetags. Enjoy!

Talk about the biggest social platform on the internet, Billions of people from around the world connecting to one another experience the good, the bad and the not so good bad, many of us might have. Facebook account hack, some might have heard of it and to a few are asking; " Can one's Facebook account be Hacked ? " I felt i should blog about this because one cyber scammer wanted to make a noob out of me just recently. So i decided that I'd drop a few tips on one could secure their Facebook account from hungry hackers. Here are my 5 Tips to securing your account from hackers 1. Use A Strong Password This shouldn't be confusing to you, using a weak password would lead you into the hands of unethical hackers, not you in actuality but your account. Passwords like date of birth, phone numbers and other names aren't great choices for creating a password. You have to make passwords that can't be easily Aside loosing your accounts to scamps, you can as well be exposing vital information, such as contacts, work, address, etc. So if you're guilty of using weak passwords kindly effect a change by using Stronger passwords. Examples can be a combination of alphabets, special symbols and numbers. An Example: Strong042! Explanation: The above example is a combination of UPPERCASE letter the first "S" the others "trong" are in lowercase letters "042" in numbers and "!" A special symbol. 2. Avoid Logging With Devices That Aren't Yours This might be a strong one but it's worth it. Try and avoid using your friends phones or even cyber cafe's to login Facebook. But if you do, be careful, try using incognito/private mode while browsing and do not save passwords on the browser ( check browser's settings or click No when save password prompt appears) whether you're using your friends or you're in a cyber café be careful. Your friends might get careless or may decide to be naughty, either ways always use private mode when you're using another persons phone, by doing this no password or history is saved during surfing. If you don't remember all if this just remember to at least log out of the device when you're done. 3. Watch out for Spammy Links An example: so basically i had suspected one account in my friend lists, i clearly did not send a friend request to that person. I had messaged the account in pidgin English, my suspicion proved to be true when the supposed White guy responded in an apt and fluent pidgin, from then on I knew a friend of would have been hacked. I proceeded to inquire for myself, the fella responded by texting a link to me that i should enter to send him Friend request in his other account. Smart guy? No! I didn't enter the link he sent, you could possibly have texted me your name than going through the stress of preparing a link, who does that? If i had followed the so called Smart guy's link, my Facebook account could have been comprised. I feel lucky. Long story short: avoid visiting spam links, most especially from friends you don't know. Your account can be comprised if you don't adhere to these tips. 4. Phishing Sites There are sites that have the same outlook design with Facebook, there aim is not to appreciate the company's design, no way! There plan is to phish out your user name and passwords when you enter them on their Facebook look alike site. When next you're browsing and you try logging Facebook, ensure you're on www.facebook.com main site by checking the URL tab to confirm, before proceeding to input your details. Despite this trick being old, a lot of people still fall prey to the hackers. 5. Avoid Shady Emails I once got a message saying that I should change my password, that my account had being comprised, i muttered then checked the address of the sent mail and behold, it was not from Facebook. I hope this helps Source: https://www.gklited.com/2018/09/5-ways-to-prevent-your-facebook-from.html

charliboy654:lol, can you imagine?! If ritual works, men I'm pained for you, i really am. i don't pray bad for you, but just don't forget my handle. One day you'll come so close to life that you'll understand that there's one above all. i would love to explain in person cos words when typed are tiring. i was once like you, unbelieving, thought i was living a lie till i finally found redemption. I'm a factual person, i investigate into matters, you should try it too. God really does exist, those who truly seek would find out one day. Whether you believe it or not. |
CuteMadridista:Atheists have lowest IQs! You see all the things happening around the world. Fetish rituals that happen, people being killed for wealth, penis disappearing here and there and one small annoying person will now say, "there's no God" it's either you've a reprobate mind or you're already doomed. You're in your state because of lack of exposure, you're inexperienced with life. Even sorcerers have said it for the umpteenth time, there's God, do more digging next time. God existence is a fact not just faith. |

Let me start by answering, well it depends, when i have ₦4 Million as spare money, then I'd probably buy it, i mean real spare money, maybe gifted or when i win a lottery. Now, back to the matter! This state of art, ultra modern bicycle is not like your conventional pedal cycling thingy, this is more like a smart bike, like it has a fingerprint scanner that stores over 20 fingerprints patterns in it's memory bank, your thumb will set it to street mode while your middle finger will put it to blast, extreme power mode, pretty petty. Aside not needing keys to startup this beauty there are still 101 reasons to get this bicycle in your garage, that's if your account balance is speaking fluently. Take a look at that touchscreen speedometer, you don't get to see a scooter or motorcycle this trendy and it's not even a motor bike, it's a motorbicycle! Imagine going out on this with all your trendy gadgs in your backpack and you're wearing a very stylish helmet, please say no more. In case you didn't know, lately this year Pique who plays for Barcelona FC, Spain was temporary barred from using his vehicle after being caught with an invalid driving license, he was then seen in a video sporting this £9000 ( approximately 4.2 million Nigerian naira ) greyp electric bicycle to training. Apparently he's not only the owner of this luxury bicycle, Lionel Messi is also a proud owner of this work of art. This bike reminds me of Tesla, sleek, distinct and in form. Now most you would rather call this a bike but I'd disagree with you, although this bicycle here can hit a speed of over 25 km/hr to 45km/hr on its 200W of power while it takes just about 80 minutes to get this thingy to full charge. But in case you feel the speed is just a bit of a problem, you can as well access other riding modes ( they're 3 riding modes) that suits your environmental regulations and choice by tilting the functions on the touchscreen. This is creepy? Yeah i know. I had recently blogged on how one could convert a dumb TV into a smart TV and now here's a very creepy news on why shouldn't discuss bedroom matters in the sitting room. --> https://www.gklited.com/2018/09/how-to-turn-your-tv-into-smart-tv.html Since everything is becoming ioT (internet of Things) inclined, the world would experience a lot of change in an obnoxiously and abrupt manner. Let's keep out the good first, the Con's would be outrageously daunting, forgive my banter, but I'm shook and angry at the same time.. When will we get to experience real privacy. Like it can pick up voice conversations from the background, like a secret listening device planted without your notice, but this time you planted it. Below is a grab from Twitter, The user explains that in Samsung's Privacy and policy terms, it was advised that you keep the secrets off the sitting rooms, of course your home discussions are somewhat private, in fact confidential, but not with a smart TV in there. Well i believe the voice pickup can be achieved when fully connected the internet. If your smart TV can do this, better be a saint with your smartphones, you might not know, but hey! there might just be a snitch on the other end. Be alarmed What's your thought on this? It's not like Wiz has threatened her whatsoever. He didn't release chats to convince us that he's good and she's trynna prove she isn't a HOE or gold digger. For me, she's wrong! WizKid is also wrong! but you don't have to expose private msgs to gain pity. |
It will amaze you that not one of these products or firms are less than a million dollars in value, most of them are worth billions and others are climbing very fast. Dating from 2006, none of these companies or products were in existence, today they are buzzing all over the world. Tech is indeed growing very fast. Nevertheless, this should be a booster and an eye opener for everyone into Entrepreneurship and Intrapreneurship (company staff/worker), it's never too late to raise a start up, you may fail at first but keep pushing. Nigeria LNG. believe me, they're not perfect but very good. Internet, Boosters, Food, Retreats, Travel and lots more. |
Well if you're reading this and you're guilty of the following reasons stated below, you should make a U turn. This is actually for those of us that love to upload our photos to Facebook, Gplus, Twitter & Instagram. Now understand me, I'm not insinuating that you're wrong but your motives might be. Now I'm actually writing this post because I've met and heard a lot people say that they upload certain pics to Facebook and other social sites just so they can retrieve their photos in case it gets misplaced or destroyed through crash or snatch. Phone or External Memory can get misplaced, you surely must need a cloud backup to really prevent regrets. Now they're certain files that shouldn't be uploaded cause of security and other personal reasons. Such files like your images can be saved to the cloud with only you having the rights and access to it, except you decide to share it to the public, they're strictly private. This cloud storage is very important aside saving just images, you can save anything from games, archive, videos and virtually any files that you've come across. Now for the photos, let's say you've this memorable but shaming picture you'd like to save up for memories but can't cos everyone would see it on social media if posted and you'd get embarrassed, but deep down you wish you could back it up without any publicity. Pictures like passports, screenshots of receipts shouldn't be uploaded publicly, you should start using a cloud storage. That's quite a simple task, now if you have a Gmail account you'd have access to Google photos, it's a free image storage app. You can upload your photos album to Google photos but not Instagram, Facebook, etc. You don't need that publicity. Now if you've a Gmail account you automatically have 15GB storage capacity for free. It's upgradeable with an annual fee in case you wish to increase your space. Google photos is linked to your Google drive. Remember that the cloud storage is just like a physical memory, except for internet connectivity. More so, there are other cloud services aside Google drive.. They include... One drive Mediafire Dropbox, etc. They're not completely free, but they're really really helpful. Make sure you're saving to the cloud, it's more secured, only you can see your photos and you can retrieve it if in case it gets damaged/ravaged. SmartTV is not a new thing in the TV industry, It's been making waves and it's one of the most trendy techs movement of this generation, we so love the screens but more if they're smarter. Everything is becoming smart these days, smart phones, homes, doors, generators and now Smart TVs. Smart TV according to Wikipedia, is a television set with integrated Internet and interactive " Web 2.0 " features. Smart TV is a technological convergence between computers and flat screen television sets and setup boxes. Well the good things about Smart TV is that you can make your old Cathode ray tube (CRT) TV sets behave smart, but not with the looks though, just the functions. Basically there are now better TV sets with a slash in the panel size, TVs like Light Emitting Diode (LED) TV, Organic LED and LCDs are more efficient, clearer in resolutions, lighter and trendy than the latter CRT. LED TVs are gradually transcending into OLED TVs and most of us aren't even done with our DLPs, Plasma and CRTs. This new TVs are braced with ports of different uses, ports CRT didn't have, the likes of USB, HDMI and even Ethernet ports. More so clarity/resolution is what makes a TV 'look' smart. Inches 2K, 3K, 4K and beyond have quite good transmission of imagery. HD displays is one crucial factor for rendering a TV set smart. Talk of 1080p and above, lemme rest there. What is lacking in making your TV Smart are setup boxes and maybe flat screen for CRTs and PDPs. Imagine your TV sets without DVDs, i mean the good ol days when there weren't any USB ports. Aside the antenna the TV would be kinda useless. See Smart TVs as a Notebook/Laptops and a Ordinary TVs as just a monitor. How To Make a Smart TV. A Transition to "SmartTVision" Here are the easy steps 1. Your TV should have a HDMI port, i mean like a USB port but with an advance look on the head, call it "ogor". You can find the ports at the rear or by the sides, TVs with ports on the sides are bae tho. You can consult your manual or even try googling if you still didn't identify it. Plot twist; If you didn't find the HDMI port, you can simply get a HDMI to RCA adapter. You can find it at online stores and offline electronics retailers. 2. I assume you now have a HDMI port, now get a HDMI cable and a setup box. This time not a DVD! Get an Android or an Apple TV Box. 3. Now get your Setup box close to the TV, so the HDMI cable would fit right in. Ensure it's not hidden so it doesn't get overheated and so that you could use the remote on it. 4. Turn on your TV set and go to HDMI channel then WALA, complete the setup and you have yourself a smart TV. Note that these setup boxes such as Android, Apple & Amazon TV have similarities, they all can access the internet and download too, play games and Lot's more. Extras: You can also watch Netflix, YouTube and other online steaming services. They also have physical storage memory, 32GB or more When you make your own smart TV, you get to choose the OS it goes by e.g Android, iOS, etc. That's a gain, literally a win win. I'm not discouraging y'all to not buy smart TVs but it's for budgetary reasons. Let the coat be proportional to the material at hand. The comments here tho. lmao |
Well I’m glad to be writing this down, I’m eased and probably would open your minds to a bit of things you might have skipped about guarding your Smartphones, Android or IPhone. The heading doesn’t seem catchy and that was the point, the header is a wanderer, i mean it will make you ponder the reasons behind this topic. Let me delve right in! Imagine getting your dream device or perhaps your long awaited device after weeks of piggy banking and then the screen gets shattered after a horrible home accident ?! what a nightmare for anyone, especially if the screen is expensive. I’d stop imagining if I were you and get a tempered glass (screen guard) that is 5% the total amount you’d spent on a repaired touch and screen. Now here are my lists… 1. Tempered Glass (Screen Guard) The shouldn’t be new to anyone, especially for our amiable Ladies who love to maintain beauty. This is one of their go-to accessories immediately they get a new Smartphone. Rather than being like the other me that likes it plain and simple, try and get a screen protector that guards your devices from breaking when mishaps occurs, you’d never know. 2. Smartphone case/cover You can get this online or from any trusted retailer out there. Price: NGN500 – 1K ($2- $5) Other the styles and brands they come in, their ultimate goal is retaining and guarding the device into lasting well. There are packs that come with tempered glass in the Nigerian markets, their prices are par with the glass itself. You can as well get both the glass and case for the price of one, if you are very good in bargaining. Get your Smarty a case, you might be increasing the value when it comes to reselling it. Price: NGN500 – 1K ($2- $5) 3. A nice Headphone or Earpiece If you’re using a Samsung Galaxy or an iPhone you’d probably not understand. These days opening the box comes with cheap headsets that don’t stand the test of the music. Well do yourself a favour and get a masterpiece and act like the master that you’re! There many headsets/headphones out there that only works after day one or two after you must have spent your worthy bucks on them. Be careful and ask for original ones from trusted sellers. Price: NGN500 – 4K ($2- $10) Sourced from https://www.gklited.com/2018/09/three-armour-guides.html

Surest one. Well written, couldn't agree more |
You've made a mess, we can't unwind what has happened, But your current efforts can do a bit of healing Tell your current wife about it, yes it will hurt you and her, but it ain't gonna be easy for you at all, but it's better than your wife finding out by herself. You don't wanna start curating a broken home. Apologize, mean it and move on and ensure you take full responsibility for the incoming child. |
I don't go with #18 tho, i like my trousers a bit short, rested on my ankle. Nice read! |
