https://www.nairaland.com/3802975/inflation-rate-drops-third-consecutiveInflation rate dropped to 17.24% in April awesomeJ: Good evening house, please can anyone confirm if the MPC will be meeting next week, and also when the NBS is likely to release April's inflation figures. I pray the former happens before the latter, because I don't want any funny change from the status quo yet as far as rates are concerned. Let the rates remain high for several quarters to come. As a concerned citizen, and as one who thinks constantly about the economic well being of this nation, I often get worried when I see that our debt service cost is in excess of 60% of government revenue. But then I understand that even if it's only 10%, with the persistent leadership problems, 70% of the remaining 90% will be mismanaged, and so there may not be any significant headway. So I'd rather have the rates remain high since that's a sure way of giving more peeps little bites from the national cake. Whatever downside that has will eventually sort itself. Splendid night to everyone. |

elfmann: How about the verification phase? Will he pretend too? Omo. Pretence is neither required or necessary here. I assume that the transcript was addressed to WES and sealed but given to him. If that is the case, he can send it on the school's "behalf" using the earlier suggestion. If otherwise, he may need to go back to the school. Looping: keleto |

keleto: Seems you did not get me clear sir. WES said you will send the certificate but your school would be the one to send the TRANSCRIPT. But I have collected both. So how can my school send the transcript This is no rocket science. Simply walk into a courier company and use the name of a high-ranking staff (if available) in your institution's academic unit as the sender. Include his/her phone number in the waybill if you have it. Make sure your name does not appear in the document In this journey, thinking out of the box is key... |

I have a family friend who is very keen to move out of the country and Australia is one of the favorites. He has 15 years of work experience while the wife has 10 years and they have both managed an agro-based enterprise together for the past 10 years. He has HND Accountancy while the wife has BA/B.Ed English.
The major concern is their ages: The man is 52 while the wife is 45 so having the required points is almost impossible. I have personally reviewed visa subclasses 132 and 188; the required net assets are very high!
I estimate the net assets of the couple to be about 185,000 AUD. What alternative routes do you think they can take? Any suggestions?

Remxyj: Thanks for the advice. But this information was given in the express entry profile before an ITA was given, are you advising we should remove it in the work experience section on the permanent residence form and leave it in the work history? In the Crs point break down I did not see any point awarded based on the relative she said she has in Canada and we can't even edit it cos cousins are not listed as part of relatives and she chose aunty so the only option is to remove it. Hope all dese changes will not show dishonesty and get the application rejected because I tot we are not allowed to change the informations given in express entry form after an ITA as been issued and all other documents are ready for submission. This image is for clarity. Please advice cc Babachi, LordSebastian, Onlineise, optionese, 40manlappy From the image, you only claimed points on spouse education and language proficiency, there were no points for her work experience or even relatives. It is only a problem when you change information that affects your CRS score negatively post-ITA. If it makes you sleep well, do a brief LOE on your wife's cousin i.e. the error that you made on your EE profile and attach on the e-APR. |

mctowel01: PR eligibility states that applicant must be below 50years at the point of applying. So i think he is not eligible for subclasses 189/190 Thanks bro, I know that but I am considering the wife as PA. She is still under 50 but the age (45) will give her zero points. What are the possibilities? |

Remxyj: Help Help Help I got an ITA last month and since then have had mixed feelings whether to accept it or decline cos noticed errror in my express application after I got an ita Firstly, My wife stated in her work experience that she's self employed in poultry and this a business that she dose behind the house and sells to final consumer. The business is not even registered, now i have read that accompanying spouse will also prove that work experience even doh not Crs point has been awarded for this. She can't even meet up with cic self employment requirement. Secondly she stated in her application that she has a relative in Canada who's her cousin but she chose aunt. Now all the documents she and her sister has to tender will only prove she's her cousin not aunt. Will this not amount to a misrepresentation? Or can we remove this from our application after an ITA has been received. I recalculated my point and i noticed nothing has changed cos they didn't even ask questions concerning relative in Canada or wife's work experience. Please advice 1. Not a problem. Fill her work experience in the "personal history" section only since you are not claiming points on this. 2. Not sure about this but since you did not claim points on siblings (not even available until June 6) you may edit in e-APR or remove completely. cc Babachi, LordSebastian, Onlineise, optionese |

seakomol: Hey guys,
For the sake of your sanity, please do not use Iqas for your ECA for now. 1. They are under pressure. 2. They only send out assessments on mondays. Blood Pressure 151/90
i was able to track via DHL that My transcript and other supporting documents were acknowledged on the 14th of April, 2017. I however didn't get an acknowledgement of receipt till 3rd May, 2017. i just called Iqas and the representative said i wasn't in the batch sent yesterday that prolly next monday.
Meanwhile a friend that used WES has the following timelines 1. documents receipt acknowledgement 2nd May 2017 2. Eca issued 12th May 2017
Both assessments are for Msc in the UK. The dynamics are changing. It is no longer news that IQAS is overwhelmed. A lot of applicants switched to them based on their record processing times thereby giving WES some breathing space. From 7 days》10 days》15 days and possibly 20 days now. Indeed, previous performance is not an indicator of future performance. However, it must be noted that both WES and IQAS process UK qualifications faster. |
