@lacord5

I think this issue should not be flogged unnecessarily. Apart from "doing as they do in Rome", asking people to drop phone numbers may earn you a ban. Unlike other forums like Canadavisa, Nairaland neither support nor encourage promotion of Whatsapp groups and soliciting of members from the forum. We must appreciate the fact that many who have benefitted immensely from this thread also have reservations about it too.

However, it is not possible to stop members from joining groups outside the forum to aid the attainment of their objectives. IMO, it is a personal decision. To be honest, I belong to a post-ITA Whatsapp group outside Nairaland but I will never come here to promote it or solicit for phone numbers. Besides, it has nothing to do with Nairaland.

May our Canadian dreams come true...

@Adeniyitob I advise that you modify your post and remove your phone number.

All POs have their own postal code, go to the PO you want to receive your item from and ask them of their postal code.
Thanks bro, I did not put any postal code in my shipping address. Would that be a problem?

They are kind of too forward in that General post Office. Just because they have large space to operate they hold on to your item and demand more from u when it come to phone and also they will open file for u to know how many times you have come there to collect phone.
I have to change PO to U.I and I can say they are fantastic.
Thanks bro. How does one know which PO his order will go? Is it possible to determine which PO to pick from? I mentioned Dugbe because I used a Dugbe address for my shipping information.

Good day all.please I have 2 questions.

1. I am using fixed deposits certificates and tbills as pof. Do I need to add my statement of account? If yes, I intend to print an 18 months statement as that will show the origin of the pof. Is it okay?
2. I worked in a law firm for 18 months. Then moved to work freelance with a fellow lawyer who has a registered consulting firm. I used those noc and years from the 2 firms to earn points in crs. Now I have ITA am having a rethink about the second company as the company is no longer in business but the owner agreed to write the required references for me.
Now my dilemma is should I go ahead and apply with the 2 firms? Or should I remove the 2nd firm entirely and use only the first law firm and reduce my years of experience to just 1 year. Gurus in the house please come to my aid. Thanks
1. There is no harm in doing that. IMO, it only makes your POF more credible.

2. If you have used your years of experience from the 2 firms to earn points, you are required to provide references for them. Note that only 3 years is needed to get the highest points available under employment.

I personally don't think it's a wise idea to create a different group for post ITA. The reason is dat post ITA questions answered here will assist those coming behind. Also, those that may not ve ITA yet may still able to answer ur questions. For example, am not even in d pool yet but I ve answered alot of pre n post ITA questions here n even over d phone.
I feel you bro. Using this platform to spearhead such groups has always been discouraged.

Hello Bros, pls I need confirm about our personal belongings at test venues and how we could safeguard them.Im Having My Speaking Test Today in Lagos n Other tests next Thursday. Success to All of Us Speaking today and writing next week. Gods Grace.
When I retook mine early this year, sealable polythene bags were provided by the British Council staff. This was where I kept my phones and wallet and the bags were left in their custody. For the speaking test, I left the phones and car key in custody of their staff as well; in fact, you would be required to drop everything except your passport. There were no issues at collection.

I believe similar provision should be available for you too.

...any prediction on what the next CRS cut off will behuh...and when will the next draw come up
There are 5 Wednesdays in May, so I expect that there would be at least one more draw before the month ends, possibly 31st May. However, IRCC is very unpredictable; they may decide to hold another draw next week Wednesday, 24th May and not hold any other until June 7th OR hold draws on both 24th and 31st May. Interestingly, they held draws on a Thursday as well as a Friday recently.

Scores may come as low as 407/408 or as high as 422/423, IMO.

However, what I have written above are mere predictions, only our "ogas at the top" at Ottawa (IRCC) can say with certainty cheesy

Since you should get ITA today, I don't think you have to worry too much. Start gathering documents so that if possible, you can submit before your birthday. I have read something similar somewhere but I am not sure if it was upon ITA or AOR but I suggest you play safe.

Therefore, expect the minimum CRS cut-off to be around 414 in the next draw
If they are looking at issuing at least 3,000 ITAs today, it could even be lower. Of course, we must remember that more people would have joined the pool between May 13 and now. Otherwise, I would have projected 410 cool

They have summarized it by stating "The score distribution may change as people submit new profiles and other profiles expire."

Option 1. If they have up to $500k, they can apply for business stream visa.

Option 2: The wife with B.Ed, does she have experience in teaching? What is her experience in?
Thanks boss for your response.

1. They don't have up to that. In fact, their estimated net assets that I mentioned earlier (AUD$185,000) is majorly into properties (buildings, land, etc) not liquid assets but they are willing to sell them to raise cash if there is any green light for their proposed relocation bid.

2. The wife has B.A English, not B.Ed that I stated earlier and has 8 years teaching experience.
