Newmum0615: Thank you. Will I have to add an LOE for no 1 answer? If you wish but i don't think it is really necessary. LOE is generally for issues that may not be readily obvious to the IRCC agent. Just check that the JD stated on your work reference matches your chosen NOC to a reasonable extent. |

Newmum0615: Good morning my people, please I need answers to these questions. 1. Can I modify an info on my profile post-ITA but before eAPR? I realized I mixed up my job titles. Can I do it now before I continue my application, the way I could before the ITA came or must I continue the application, modify the info then save and exit till when I am fully ready to submit my application at the end of January? And will I need to include an LOE to explain why I am changing the title names? I am already planning to change my NOC post-ITA. You can modify your info post-ITA. 2. Hubby's passport bears only his first name and surname, no middle name. I entered the pool with it like that, but I want to know if I can change it to reflect his middle name since we have an affidavit covering his middle name. Must his name be entered exactly the way it is on his travel document or can an affidavit be uploaded to show the reason for the disparity? You should be fine with the affidavit
Biko, help me answer. Thanks. |

Newmum0615: Please, does one need to do an LOE to explain reason for changing NOC post-ITA? I don't think you need LOE. We changed NOC post-ITA and did not mention it in the LOE. You should not have any issues if your JD matches the prescribed job duties of your chosen NOC. cc: Kontagious |

staronthemoon: I am currently living in Ottawa. It is a great place to live, especially for families. Average wages are higher than in other cities and housing is more affordable than Toronto and Vancouver. There are a lot job opportunities in Ottawa, specifically in the government and technology sector. The only disadvantage to Ottawa for Nigerians is French. Many jobs in Ottawa require being able to speak both French and English, especially in the public sector. If you are bilingual and have a post-secondary degree, you will easily be able to find a well-paying job. If you can't speak French, finding a job is a lot more difficult but still possible especially if you are skilled in engineering/programming. Happy to have you on board. Looking at Ottawa-Gatineau CMA |

Olabestonic001: Great house here. Please, I have a peculiar issue of POF. I am planning both the EE and PNP route. However, my wife is the one that have such amount that can be use as POF and she is about opening a Mutual Fund account with another bank (18% interest, you know). I want to know if depositing the cash in a Mutual Fund that might be barely 6 months during application will be accepted? What matters to IRCC is that you can readily access the fund. Mutual fund has been proven to be an acceptable POF. Also, the 6-month average should be applicable to bank accounts. Apparently, it is to verify that it is not borrowed funds and actually belongs to you. Please read more on page 0 of Part 2 under "PROOF OF FUND". All the best in your application. |

Nwandy218: Kudos to all the work you all are doing here. Except for very peculiar issues, can we all agree to keep this thread simple by encouraging newbies to read up and refer them to previous links. Anyone who has decided to relocate to a new continent and leave his/her life her behind needs to learn to research, read a lot and strategize. I do not mean to offend anyone but I think we ll be more productive this way. Thanks fam Well said! It would be nice if all of us can share the above sentiment. Let's feel free to refer newbies to page 0 and the previous threads. cc: GlitteringStar |

Yet, we have learned here that some ACA credentials have not been positively evaluated. And this is even from 2010? Super confusing! Super-confusing indeed! For now, we can only speculate. I doubt the exemptions theory though. @Bambam4you Congrats! |
