merrymum: Hi. I used two different NOCS and I have my COPR. It is possible as long as it falls within A, B or 0. The two I used were in A and B. The tweet emphasize the fact that you can only use one NOC to claim the maximum 3 years experience "at a stretch" under EE. Please confirm that in your case, one of the NOCs is up to 3 years. cc: hiscules, elfmann |

Mabs16: Please, I need ur advise as well:
1. OND Insurance, HND, Insurance, About to Start another 2yrs HND conversion to BSC program in a University
2. Current Job-August till date: Underwriter in an Insurance Company-2months experience. Previous Job: Client Service Officer in an Insurance Broking firm(One year) 2012-2013
3. I'm 26yrs.
4. I have 3cousins in Canada. Two of them are permanent residents
I actually want to start next year when I would have had atleast one year experience in Insurance Underwriting role
Your advise is highly anticipated You have crucial factors in your favour which will help you greatly in this process: -OND + HND with which you can claim "2 or more certificates". This attracts more points than a BSc. -At least one year of work experience. Look up the NOC that is relevant to your work experience -Young age -Relatives in Canada If you are very determined about going the PR route, I would advise that you focus on evaluating your existing qualifications right away, register and prepare thoroughly for IELTS (General) test to get a minimum of 8,7,7,7 in LSRW and save the tuition fees for your proposed conversion course to BSc. The latter will be very useful for your proof of fund (POF) unless money was no object for you. Please read page 0 more diligently for more guidance. All the best! Looping: Algbenguze |

Abby2017: Hi olusolarichards Since your school has refused to send your transcript and wants you to pick and send by yourself, I suggest you send at a courier office within Ekiti and not Lagos. Source detail and location will be on your parcel, I believe. I am not certain of how the packaging works. I think @mummyjaygirls explained something like that in older post. @40manlappy and other gurus can help you torchlight the matter too. I don't think it matters. Got our transcripts in Ogun State and sent it through a courier company in Oyo State. Of course, the seals were intact and I didn't indicate myself as the sender, but an official of the Academic unit of the University. Hope this helps. |

Margs: I hear you but EE takes too long i gather....18 months haba! Try to read up from the beginning of this thread; it will really do you a lot of good. According to IRCC, "Our processing time for complete Express Entry applications is six months or less for 80% of cases. If your case is complex or if there are missing documents, it may take longer." http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=673&top=29Despite the above position, there are people here that have gotten PPR within a month or even less. cc: threadstone |

temydee1: Hi,
1. Is it possible for me to use the current acct balance in my spouse acct as part of my proof of funds.
I intend to use my Pensions, Treasury Bills and the balance to me cmplted with my Spouse current account balance (supported with a letter of consent to utilise the funds without recourse.)
Urgent response required Your question was answered on page 0 under "PROOF OF FUND". Yes, you can use it. Just prove (either by way of a letter or affidavit from your spouse) that you can access the fund. @CAstruggle, donrabii Congratulations on your IELTS results. Good job! |

yimiton: The 25% covered about 20% of my POF.
I don't see any reason why you can't use it really. So long as it's clearly stated that the funds will be available to you within 4 months. Glad to know that it worked for you. I recall the debate on the previous thread about how 25% may be used as a support to POF and the suggestions that were offered. Sometimes, all it takes is for one or two people to be convinced about a cause and forge ahead. This may be how gift deed emerged even though it is not listed explicitly on IRCC's website. Once again, congrats on your PPR |

Saintp: I'm just thinking. Is it not better to turn my account to a joint account with my spouse and use it for EE instead of transferring the POF to her own account since she is the PA? With a joint account, there won't be any need for explanation about the funds in her account. Does this make sense? The POF can still be in your name. A similar issue was discussed on page 67. It might be wrong to assume everyone know about Page 0 .Some people are new to Nairaland while some just stumbled on the current page. I agree, especially at bolded. We don't have any reason to be rude to one another. We can always redirect newbies to page 0 without making them feel stupid. A candle loses nothing by lighting another.... |
