eddycross: @All with COPR,
The PPR mail requests for completed form IMM008 and Additional Family Information forms.
I already completed and sent the form IMM008.
Do we need to also send the Additional Family Information forms?
I need to confirm before I initiate a CSE. Thanks It seems that the Additional Family Information forms is a new development because it was not stated in my RFV mail. Has your family configuration changed? If not, you don't need to fill it. Even the form IMM008 is supposed to be for when you have changes in the family composition but most people fill it anyway. I presume that you have already sent your passports to Accra. Cheers! |

WellEndowed: Yes there are. If you value your life runnnnn. Plus they are actually found living in peoples houses as well. In fact, you will find them everywhere; car ports, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, in the car, on the car, in your closet, inside your fridge. Everywhere you look, you will find snakes |

@ALL
Inasmuch as we want to help, let us be careful lest we mislead others. When we are not sure of an answer, it is better to qualify our responses with "I think", "not sure" or any other appropriate phrase rather than simply state our post as facts.
Even though this thread encourages people to do research, a lot of people rely heavily on what they read here as we can see from the most basic questions that are still being asked, many of which have already been treated on page 0. |

wholesomegrace: House, please I am preparing my documents for NSPN. do I merge all pdf docs together or do i separate them according to their functionalities i.e educational qualifications in one file, police certificates etc I don't know if NSPN application portal is like EE. Is there a different placeholder for each document/section where you can upload your documents or is it just one? Check to see if you have multiple upload points or a single one. That should give you an idea of what to do. Cheers |

Treasury bill "certificate" is an acceptable proof of fund (POF) on its own without needing any reference letter, especially if bank account balances are not part of your POF. Reference letters are normally obtained alongside bank statements. Please refer to page 0 under PROOF OF FUND. |

dupyshoo: I wonder!!! I am a realistic and I believe in assessing situations well before taking a decision.
As vcole has rightly said, one size never fits all. People migrate from different countries daily. The fact some people struggled in a country does not mean everyone will struggle too. It all depends on one's current situation
As you have rightly pointed out, the deal breaker for me is getting a good job in my field in Canada. Anything less than that is not good enough for me.
Thanks for your comments. Valid point @bolded |

Jbaby09: Thanks for the prompt response. I've got LLB Ok. In the absence of information on ICES, you may consider IQAS since WES is not known (at least, so far on this forum) to have assessed LLB degrees as MSc equivalent. However, check the current processing times on their website. You can for more dig information around ICES to make an informed decision. All the best! |

Jbaby09: Good morning House!! Please I'm about processing my PR. But please I've got a question regarding ECA. For U.K. Law degree holders. Which is better? ICES IQAS OR WES? I would appreciate your response as I intend to begin my process today.. I don't know about UK Law degree holders but generally, Law degree holders have been recommending IQAS due to their assessment of their LLB degrees as MSc equivalent. Please note that they are now very slow, about 30 working days or so. If you don't mind the processing times, IQAS seem to be better for lawyers. Please read the posts of the following members for more insights while other lawyers also weigh in. dupyshoo:
Oga 40manlappy, permit me to disagree with you slightly on this issue. Request for rprf is a good sign but it does not automatically mean everything is fine. They sometimes request for rprf after R10 has been completed and A11.2 is yet to start. Application can still be rejected after request for rprf.
See this link for a rejection after rprf. I have read of few more which unfortunately can't locate the link anymore. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/rejection-after-rprf-payment.439375/ Oga bawo? I remain loyal Ma'am Thank you for injecting cautious optimism into the issue. My submission was based on the general understanding that completeness check (R10) may be considered done once RPRF request is initiated thereby giving some comfort on the acceptability of submitted documents even before A11.2 Of course, anything can come up until the RFV mail is received. Cheers |

Plenty hidden posts. What have we missed? @MRSDA: Don't worry too much. Even without ADR, that section can change from "reviewed" to "uploaded" and to "not needed" in no particular order, so one can tell you what is going with certainty. The important thing is that you are making progress. Wish you speedy PPR. |

belushi7: Good evening all.
Just got my ECA results today and discovered the dob is different. Never knew the school had a wrong dob as all my documents have correct dob. My wife is the PA and her's is perfect. We intend going into the pool today. I have read responses to such issues. Will like to clarify if raising LOE post ITA explaining the discrepancy with accompanying affidavit and birth certificate resolved it. Or was there anything else they could have done before EE submission? Dive into the pool already. IMO, this is not a serious issue. You can include it in your LOE if it's giving you sleepless nights. You are right that the issue has been discussed severally on the thread. If it's any consolation to you, someone who had a similar issue has already gotten RPRF payment request. Newmum0615: Thanks a lot. Can I send you a PM please? I need further clarifications. Or can you just tell me the particular job title she chose seeing that FT is not expressly stated under the 1114 headings. The main duties too do not exactly describe FT very well. I am just wondering what the description will be on the reference letter. In addition, the employment requirements are quite complicated, do those ones matter? Or should I just focus on the main duties? Apologies for the plenty questions. We used the job title that was listed on her reference letter i.e. "Funds Transfer Officer". Don't worry that it was not expressly mentioned under the NOC's headings, I can understand the confusion. Took us some time too to settle for 1114. We had earlier chosen a different NOC pre-ITA and had to switch to 1114 post-ITA after extensive research. A number of FT staff have gotten PPR with this NOC code. Just focus on the duties.... |

Virt: Thanks dear.
Please is anyone seconding this? I just want to sure of the step to take now. You don't need a gift deed for POF that is coming from your spouse. A letter from your spouse/LOE should do... As stated on page 0, POF is even allowed in your spouse's name provided you can prove that you have access to it. |
