Love Y'all. Good! Start working on the requisite documents immediately. Note that ITA is just the beginning of this exercise. I will recommend that you read the first few pages of this thread again to get a good grasp of the whole process. You can even create time to read the previous thread too. All the best! |

talk2jt: Hi guys,
For the POF, can I attach just my treasury bills certificates and a letter from my POF showing that i am entitled to 25%? I really don't have money in my account, I already invested the money in Treasury bills for my POF. Your question was just discussed recently. Please read the last 10 or 20 pages. Yes, you can use TBs as POF, this was also addressed on page 0. Read the posts of the following member on how she successfully used 25% of pension as POF. https://www.nairaland.com/yimiton/posts |

daremum: ok thanks all.
Am calm, seriously, it was has if my heat paused for a while anyway i will answer with no further screenshots
1. My wife score is 489 with 3 years experience as a pharmacist while i only inputted 1 year experience for myself.
2. for our proof of funds she used 15232 canadian dollars.
3. she included her PEBC number and date
The profile has been created since, we were just awaiting PEBC which we got lately.
whats the way forward ? Thank you all. 1. Unless you have the reference letter already or getting it would not be stressful, there is no point inputting your own work experience since it was not gained in Canada. Guess you have been told already. 2. POF for a family of 2 is $15, 312. This could be the issue. Frankly speaking, I suggest you read page 0 more diligently. |

Newmum0615: I would like to know if I can use a code for a previous job experience as my NOC. I worked as a funds transfer officer for about 4 years and some months in a bank, but since 2013 I have been working as a risk management analyst in a bank. I have worked under various units within risk management within the past 4 years in this second bank, but it is quite challenging getting an NOC that fits my job description. I want to know if I can use NOC for funds transfer. I think it might be easier getting a code for this. @40manlappy e ma binu, please what NOC did wifey use for funds transfer?
Secondly, can both hubby and I apply for EE together and then decide who will be the PA based on who gets ITA first? Can this be done? Getting NOC is easier based on his job description.
Thank you. 1. Review the following NOCs for your risk management role and chose the one that aligns more closely with your job description: 0122, 1111. Note that work experience that you gained within the last 10 years is eligible so the choice of the primary NOC is yours. My spouse used 1114 for FT 2. Yes, you can create a separate profile for each of you and decide on the PA upon receipt of ITA. |

@daremum
You need to really calm down; don't be too much in a hurry.
By a process of "elimination", people here can assist to determine what went wrong. No one can automatically tell you what you did wrong except by the process that I mentioned earlier.
As advised by others, remove the picture that contains your personal details. |

What's do we do or how best do we match it with NOC? I am not familiar with your NOC. Which aspect of Banking Operations is your wife in? Funds Transfer or Cash/Tellering? |

Am hoping Canada or Australia I suggest you go with Canada and consider the suggestions on enhancing your proof fund. Looking at your budget, visa application fees alone will "eat" up a substantial part of your funds if you go with the other option. |

Scard: Good morning everyone, Please I have few questions to ask.
1) Has anyone evaluated a UNIBEN degree with WES here? How did it go? I already collected a Transcript from the school before, so that angle should not be much of a problem.
2) What is the Tax implication for an accompanying spouse who does not intend to live in Canada, but remain in Nigeria working? Will he or she be liable to paying Tax to the Canadian government from his/her earning from Nigeria?
I would appreciate your kind responses.
Well done to all those keeping this thread alive 1. Not aware of any issues regarding assessment of UNIBEN degrees. Quite a number of people here have done that successfully with WES. 2. Seems I have read that income earned by PRs abroad are subject to some of taxation but I am not sure. Maybe @Blackbuddy @Gymme can help us here. |

aobiya: I want to apply for EE with my wife but my wife is pregnant currently. If we do get approval to apply for PR, and eventually get it after she has delivered, will we b able to move with d baby?
I want to know if there will b a problem after we have been successful. Or better still, d best way to do the application. You can add a newborn during your PR application and even after your application has been approved i.e. PPR. The important thing is to inform them immediately and provide requisite documents. Don't worry too much about it for now, just go ahead with your application. When you get to the "bridge", you will cross it. Feel free to ask for the specifics here when your baby arrives. Wish your wife a safe delivery |

hiscules: Thank you for the clarification.
I require another clarification, on my profile ,i provided only the work history for which i want to claim points and left out all my other work experiences, does this make sense or am i expected to include all of my work history on the profile? The bolded is ok. Just provide the remaining work history under the "personal history" section of your e-APR. |

hiscules: Hello House,
when completing the profile, can i just select "NO" for the spouse work history part?
If i select "YES" will i need to provide spouse work reference letters? You can select "NO" and later provide the employment information in the personal history section of the e-APR. That way, you won't have to provide work references for your spouse. |

cochtrane: yeah, I agree.
Still think we need more details from others to come to a conclusion on this. Unfortunately, most don't share experience. @bolded Fear of "village people", maybe? On a serious note, beyond what is written in "black and white", experiences enrich the thread greatly. There are many things that are not explicitly stated on IRCC's website e.g. standard reference + bank statement in lieu of recommended format, gift deed, 25% of pension as POF, positive assessment of ICAN's ACA, etc Those who share their experiences should be appreciated |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by 40manlappy(op): 4:16pm On Sep 30, 2017 |
cochtrane: The NOC doesn't have to be 3 years. 3 years earns you the maximum score, but even 1 year is good enough as long as your computed CRS score is above the cut-off. She might have had just enough years to earn the cut-off for both express entry and FSW. CIC site says it's only one NOC, though it could be different companies. That's the same thing they confirmed in the tweet. I'd appreciate if she could throw more light on those different NOCs and their respective years. @bolded I didn't say that the NOC has to be 3 years to qualify. The crux of the discussion is how to get the maximum points from work experience under EE. cc: elfmann |

elfmann: No offense committed. I was thinking on another direction before merrymum came in and kowaciated it. But the Twitter explanation looked at one NOC only even if not at a stretch. It didn't say much on d related NOCs' part. Thanks. I was referring to related job functions, not related NOCs. The former can fall under one NOC. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by 40manlappy(op): 1:42pm On Sep 30, 2017 |
elfmann: Again, can sb select three years on d EE profile, after getting ITA, wait out a month out of the 90 days to get a reference letter for two years? As the first reference letter is one yr. I. e Do they look at d date on the reference letter and when ITA was got to judge anything? As far as we know, an applicant's information is locked upon ITA, so it is better to have gotten the experience claimed as at when ITA was received to avoid risk of ban due to misrepresentation. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by 40manlappy(op): 1:25pm On Sep 30, 2017 |
elfmann: I think if it is at a stretch, the idea of combination is defeated. Nobody combines to get more than three years for migration points. Hiscules' assertion of related NOCs looks like it. "At a stretch" is the best phrase that I could use to describe it, maybe it didn't convey my intended message. Importantly, check the job description as captured on the reference letters to see if the two job functions are actually related. That is the real key to determining the NOC, not the job designation. |
