SAINT 4HIM,

I have actually missed your posts! anyway as usual you must either slam HR.hotness or ME
I have slammed no one neither do i ever intend to again.  grin
I'm now a man of peace.

HR.hotness:
Point!

but I'm assuming we are all sane adults who have a point to make

just because some people don't feel comfortable talking about their sex lives, doesnt give them the right to sit in judgment over others who have no problem doing so.
Very true. But you have to take into consideration that the average Nigerian is conservative by nature, what an American will consider normal will probably send a Nigerian mother into a fit.

true.

name callers and judgemental know-it-alls have no life,
False. They probably have more of a life than you would think.

HR.hotness:
they are spinless wimps who secretly wish they have the nerve to live out in the open and express their innermost thoughts
Not always true. Many have absolutely no desire for such.

HR.hotness:
we all think about sex, we all enjoy it, we all have fantasies,  we all secretly wish we could talk about it openly
False. I have no such secret wish.

HR.hotness:
to be able to talk freely makes u unique, a strong and independent person
False. Mad men talk freely, it hasnt made them strong independent people just yet. Its not just about "talking" but about the quality of what you have to say.

Tornadoz:
Where do I begin? Stop building new homes on occupied territories.
Those territories are not occupied. The PLO CLEARLY indicated they had no sovereignity over them in 1964, Jordan has refused to accept the Westbank and Egypt now has a wall that separates it from Gaza.

Tornadoz:
Stop building the racist wall on Palestinian land
- the wall isnt racist but was put there to stop terrorists. Suicide bombings has dropped over 90% since the wall was built
- Egypt has a wall on the Gaza border too, is that bothering you also?

Tornadoz:
Stop the Guantanamo bay style enclosure of Gaza.
- Gaza/Hamas does not recognise the existence of Israel, why should Israel be obliged to open their borders to them? Do the US open their borders to Mexicans?
- Contrary to propaganda, Egypt also has a border with Gaza that is permanently shut. Not even oil, medicine or food is allowed through.
- Why shld Israel open its borders to those who have its destruction as their ultimate goal?

Tornadoz:
Now tell the Jews to stop the use of cluster bombs, napalm, and phosphorus weapons on civilian population.
Contrary to propaganda, Israel has only used napalm and phosphorous bombs during 2 wars - the defensive war of 1967 and the civil war in Lebanon in 1982. Other armies to have used the napalm bomb (which Tornadoz cares little about) include the US, Vietnam, Egypt, Korea, Ecuador AND Nigeria.

Tornadoz:
They are the only nation still making liberal use of chemical weapons.
This is blatantly false.

Tornadoz:
A nation founded by racism but cries anti-semitic when it's under scrutiny.
This again is miserable propaganda. Israel is a jewish nation with a 20% arab population (racist?) just as well as Germany has a majority German population. Its funny that CLEARLY ARAB states like Syria, Jordan . . . have NO jewish population and regard themselves as Is'lamic nations.

Tornadoz:
(Its ok to be anti Arab though) Injustice is universal irrespective of race or creed.
You however only seem to see Israeli "injustice".

Tornadoz:
Recently Hilary said she will obliterate Iran if it attacks Israel, incredible that American politicians go out of their way to side with Israel. Sad sad sad.
Its even more sad that the same US is the largest donor to the PNA and Egypt.
PoliticsRe: The Miracle At 60 - Isreal by 4Him1(m): 3:30pm On May 23, 2008
Tornadoz:
The Jews settled in present day Israel by migrating from Europe.
The majority population of Jerusalem was Jewish as early as the 1800s. Pls stop misleading the gullible.

Tornadoz:
Their first president was a European man called David Gurrion (from Poland).
Interesting . . . Yasser Arafat was Egyptian.

Tornadoz:
The arrival of this "terrorist" (according to the Arabs) was to change the face of the middle east forever. On arrival him and his fellow "Terrorists" went about displacing the indigenous population.
Really? The PLO (erroneously assumed to be the Palestinian liberation movement) was actually founded NOT by palestinians but by the Arab league of nations that included Jordan and Egypt.

- Here is what the PLO said in 1964 - "This Organization does not exercise any territorial sovereignty over the West Bank in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the Gaza Strip or in the Himmah Area."

Isnt it interesting that this same organization, less than 40 yrs after proclaims those same territories to be OCCUPIED?

Tornadoz:
Because Judaism is a religion, Jews are scattered around the world.
What does this mean?

Ibime:
At the same time, my rational mind also questions some of the hardships faced by the Palestinians. Something Africans are used to. You could easily swap their story for the Black South African story - a land grab by European settlers (not my opinion, but some would say so). At the same time, the Jews have historic claim to the land, going back to the time of Joshua.
This is false. Its the sob story the arabs have successfully sold to the rest of the world.
If the "palestinians" have faced any "hardship" its because their leaders have DELIBERATELY created the scenario to use as a psychological weapon against Israel since they failed woefully to militarilly defeat her.

Why are "refugees" in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iran still "refugees" 60 yrs after? Not even the US has such a wicked policy.
Why are the arabs not trying to help the palestinians? Why do they depend on Israel for medicine, food, gas, electricity? why is the US the largest provider of AID to the PNA despite the presence of so many rich arab countries who never fail to weep and gnash their teeth about the "plight" of the palestinians?

Are these people truly suffering? If they can purchase enough rockets to shell Sderot 50 times a day then they have no excuse for not being able to feed their children.
PoliticsRe: The Miracle At 60 - Isreal by 4Him1(m): 1:34am On May 23, 2008
TLolive:
first off, attacking everyone else who doesn't share your viewpoint is no way to argue
1. Its lame crying about being "attacked" for your viewpoints, the problem is you don't have any "views" at all that stand under the test of intense scrutiny.
2. This is not even an argument, outright lying is not a way to argue either.

TLolive:
second of all, why do you assume that I support China against Tibet.
Like all your ilk you probably don't but i never hear any of you advocate the disolution of the Chinese state. Infact i've never heard any of you moan on behalf of the poor Tibetans who have a far stronger case than these phony "palestinians".

TLolive:
Third of all, I don't agree with you that Israel is the only "nation" that is debated over. You mentioned Tibet yourself just now.
Israel is not ever likely to host the olympics because demagogues like you, the extreme leftists in Europe and your earger mu'slim and arab acomplices (forever spoiling for a fight) will make sure that "apartheid" state never does what other nations take for granted.

Tibet is under Chinese occupation . . . ah but the Chinese are even here in Africa trying to buy our oil while we chant all the way to Beijing for the olympics.

Sure people are "debating" the "plight" of the Tibetans. When is the UN going to create the equivalent of the UNRWC for them too?

TLolive:
This isn't clear to me. who wanted the state centuries ago? who immigrated? to where? I don't get you.
It will never be clear to you if you don't bother to read history rather preferring to rely on arab propaganda.
The Ottomans (who are Turks not arabs) were the last rulers over the nation of Palestine . . . where then did the arabs suddenly spring from claiming to be "natives" of Israel?

TLolive:
Didn't Britain (country in europe "hint"wink back Israel then though?
Yeah, by giving 85% of the historic land of Palestine to the sons of the Emir of Mecca (Saudi Arabia) as the present day Jordan?
Your history books are gathering dust, do something.

TLolive:
The US wasn't against Israel then either. It immediately recognized it's "independence."
Just as they recognized the independence of Nigeria in 1960, what's your point?
Are you also part of the arab "US must denounce Israel" crowd?

Thats a well-known fact. Nigerian ladies are illiterates(can't read between the lines) and it's very sad.
I am even scared now that half of the people i talk to on Nairaland might start feeling i love them.
Nigerian women r plagues one must avoid. grin
I agree with the first line (in highlights) 100%  grin

Nigerian ladies as illiterates? No.

Xerxes you are missing a key point here, these are MATURE adults not just "friends" chatting about Arsenal and traffic hold-ups. Affairs don't start in a flash, they begin with that first little platonic hello then the constant emails and phone calls before graduating into a raging fire neither is able to stop.

I'm a guy, even i know that the way to easily get a woman to like you is to make her feel very comfortable in your presence.

PoliticsRe: The Miracle At 60 - Isreal by 4Him1(m): 12:43am On May 23, 2008
The PLO was born in 1964, three (3) years BEFORE Israel supposedly "occupied" Gaza and the Westbank.
The idea of the "palestinian state" did not come about UNTIL 1988 (40 yrs after Israel was born).
The term "Nakba" did not enter common usage UNTIL 1998 (50 yrs after Israel was born).

The term "nakba" did not originally have anything to do with the events of 1948 but date back to the 1920s when arabs protested the decision to treat immigrant arabs to palestine as different from their Northern Syrian country men.

So much for being "unfair" to the palestinians.

Where else in the world is refugee status passed on from generation to generation? Only for the dearly beloved "palestinians" who even have their own special organ of the UN - UNRWA.

you're just a shameless hypocrite. Israel is the ONLY NATION ON EARTH whose very existence and sovereignity is always a cause for debate.

You support the destruction of the jewish state for its "unfairness" to "palestinians" who never existed until 1988? Ok let me show you other countries you might like to destroy too . . . China - not fair to Tibet, Hong kong.

If they have been there for centuries, why do they want their state just now? I know there are arab jews but these aren't the zionists
Zionist movement is european. Maybe the european jews that were displaced during Hitler's holocaust.
Because the US will never back arab jews. They have to be european jews for european countries and especially US to back them up to make the creation of the state successful.
Because they were those in Israel who wanted that state. . . the rest immigrated to join forces to rebuild their state on the ruins of the Ottomans (note: not the arabs).
Praps you need me to also tell you that the US did not "back" Israel in 1948.

Tornadoz's map fraudulently ignores Jordan which made up 85% of Palestine in 1922.

hmmm so much for accusing others of distortion.

The Germans hate them,
Angela Merkel addressed the Israeli knesset on March 19, 2008 and had this to say; "Especially in this place, I emphasize: Every German government and every chancellor before me was committed to the special responsibility Germany has for Israel's security,"

Tornadoz:
the entire middle east hate them
It would be more accurate to say "the arabs hate them" . . . we all know why, if you wish to be in the know pls grab a copy of the qu'ran.

Tornadoz:
and most African countries had no diplomatic relations with the Jewish state until recently.
How is Chad having diplomatic relationship with Israel of any significance?

Tornadoz:
Why do people hate Jews?
Propaganda spewing from the likes of you is one good reason.

Tornadoz:
Even God hate them by dispersing them.
That same God left a prophecy in the bible that He would gather them again back to their land, this happened in 1948.

Tornadoz:
America hated Jews so much in the 40s Harry Truman never wanted them near America.
Israel is already bidding for 35 F-35 stealth fighters from the US, so much for a country that "hates" them.

Tornadoz:
Now that Jews own America
Back to the propaganda backed without facts again . . . what else . . . ? the jews "own" Nairaland too?

no. read some history.

Tornadoz:
@TLolive Of course they are Europeans. If you see a Jew on the street would you mistake him for an Arab? Check out the map of Israel, you will see they are surrounded by Arabs with brownish skin. The native Jews look Arabic, but 70% of Jews came from other countries thus making Israel a European country.
What a dumb post. Are the Jews who lived for centuries in arab countries also european?
For your info buddy . . . not all arabs have olive skin. Infact arabs including those in africa are regarded as caucasian white!
