Shhhhhh bro.. i'm not daft I know what I did and saw..i don't recall saying u were daft. care to quote where that happened? quivah:Curious. Lets get this straight. your phone does not have a data connection gmail exists online as far as i know. you try to login into gmail on that your data-less phone and got an error message. please what do you think made it impossible to login to an online account on this your phone? quivah:K. This is the part i get insulted right? ![]() quivah: and how was I able to login with the same password/username using another phone?!!Err, did this other phone also not have data or it had data connection? it really does help to be smarter than ones phone |
......... |
quivah: yeah its off like have said,, but outta desperation I still tried logging in with my phone..and funny enough, the reply I got was "invalid password/username".. though when I tried logging in with the same password/username using another phone..the login was successful..my guess: the invalid pw/un i Was gettung on my phone might be due no data connectionYou cannot login to an online account without data whether via mobile or wifi. or am i missing something? and yes, the error you will receive for anything related to account login is "invalid password/username" |
quivah: hi peeps!! I need your help.. my brother played with my phone which was locked. He tried the pattern till I was being asked to login to my gmail acct. Please if your data connection is off, how do you then propose to login into an online account? Anyway, let me mind my business. next thing is i will get insulted |
@phoinix tomorrow pls. I'll find links to the iptables man pages for u. now I'm dog tired n on mobile. meanwhile its not really Google. the network stack in the Linux kernel has issues with this iptables thing. I think its been patched now. I know canonical pushed merges for network manager in 12.04 tho... what Google should have done is patch it or leave it open. but then this is not regular use of a mobile phone.......... one could say they are justified for not enabling a feature that's not used by mobiles |
naah I didn't see the no payment option . I registered from the iPad mini setting menu. it was running iOS 6.13 can I remove the card from the account? if so where? lemme call the guy to bring it back tomorrow. I can't shout |
^^^ does that not disable native mobile tethering? iptables -A FORWARD -j ACCEPT iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -j ACCEPT ip rule show ip route add 172.16.0.0/16 dev tun0 table 60 Anyway, pls also post the command to revert the IPTables or else u will get folks crying here soon |
Ok so i had to help someone open a Apple ID this afternoon and it required a Card.. Input debit card details and the guy gets a notification from his bank that ₦165 was deducted to ITUNES. err is this normal? and like how many more surprises does he have in store? dude is pretty scared his money will start disappearing. So Apple charges like a dollar for opening an Apple ID? O gaa o |
18k? ![]() dont understand you pple sef. una mugu go pay ooo. |
joeydozzy: Mods better come up with interesting ideas and threadsthats not the job of the mods. the actual problem is that stoopidity became much more popular than common sense and initially it appeared to be scoring clicks for NL. Unfortunately as is usual to such stuff, it will fizzle out and whats left will not be palatable. if u are complaining already now, i wonder what u will do in a few months time. there were some things that made this section popular and attract the tons of viewers. those things have been sacrificed for illogical crap. once upon a time you were required to be intelligent and learn here... now?..... if u doubt me look at the computer section. it was solid before, till marketers moved in to sell fbt etc. now?... |
^^ yeah...... .the real box is what's holding back our installation..... I could get the installation out of the way with this pending when I get a Mpeg4 box...... Really could do with a recommendation of a sure dealer of original decoders, especially around the ikeja/ogba axis |
alonso2214: Plz @gurus and users find me a solution to root my new android 4.0.3 netbook? As anyone use a netbook here before? Am tired of research all tutorials on the internet are for phones & tablets. Make una help me root this netbook.]] ![]() |

Hello gentlemen Please i need to ask, is there any special way or rule of thumb that one can apply to easily identify original strong decoders and fake decoders? these sat tv dealers be straight crooked/ignorant |
The quality of BS being spun on this thread these days is legendary ![]() |
captalex: Any Opensuse users on here?hmnnn. and your point is? I'm sure u read the thread caption?........... effing troll |
deleuche: How and to whom do I give it out to. You need to show interest first naI'd really appreciate it if u gave it to me bruv. Just trying to setup something and this would be very handy |
odilibe: Why asking ....it is written 4way splitter not diseqc....it can join 4 receivers from one lnb port...Sorry bruv. I wanted to be sure because one fool of a satellite wares seller kept insisting that was it or rather that it served the same purpose even tho it clearly said otherwise on the pack.. That's why I had to be a mugun to clarify..... Which makes me even happier I insulted the mumu. |
Hello Sorry o. Pls mugun here Is this attached pic what they call diseq to join multiple LNB to one decoder? Me sef be jjc for dis side

I think u can at least get the contacts. export them to a pc. you can read the already backed up data on the pc and migrate to outlook (if this part seems hard then u prolly need to sacrifice another "expensive calculator" ![]() just use PC suite to back the borrowed calculator up, then wipe it. Remove sim. then restore the target backup unto the "new borrowed expensive calculator" then do the contacts backup to PC (to outlook) and open the contacts backup with outlook. use outlook to export a .vcf send the vcf to the android phone. then wipe the "borrowed expensive calculator" and restore the owners data back and return the sim. everyone is happy #okbye |
Nope @ Op The Mobile Phone OEM that made android popular was MOTOROLA, then HTC. Motorola with the "DROID" campaign. they popularized the brand. back then droid was synonymous with Motorola. Then HTC with their early android phones made the market wider than america Samsung no figure for the thing at all till the S2 |
I like how you people always talk this samsung "advertising" thing like it means anything. mcheew. lemme give u a good example see this phone? N82 It had xenon flash and takes better pictures than ANY HTC or Samsung device made till date. you pple talk like everyone is simply dull and cannot identify quality Im done. i'm going to mourn nokia with a few bottles. bye

this one sold 160 million units 160 million The Nokia 3210 was a highly popular cellular phone, released in 1999. With 160 million units sold, the 3210 is one of the most popular and successful phones in history. - Wikipedia

If you cannot relate to this convo, you must have started buying phones in the last 2 years. DAMN!! those were the days. I know 1 particular fellow back then, that dude bought EVERY SINGLE NOKIA SMARTPHONE EVER MADE. i swear to God. 1st time i told him about android, he laughed me to scorn. really laughed. now he buys every samsung flagship |
even this. imagine the marketing this would get with say transformers or iron man tie in. AND THE BEST PHONE EVER!!! The beast itself. the N900. My very first geek-gasm device. choi!!
|
even the latest slabs were stellar. everyone loved it BUT for the OS. Nokia dropped the ball i agree. But i maintain that if they had diversified and got into the game running multiple OS, they would have cleaned off the market. These guys had Africa, India and Europe markets in their hands. they had the distribution and they had the contacts. The mindshare was at maximum level. who was samsung when Nokia was in charge? Samsung etc were like rank outsiders making cheap flimsy rubbish. every serious minded big boy bought a nokia. and they had every segment locked, from high end to low end. sad.
|
even more.... i feel like crying. Sad loss to the tech world
|
more of the best designs ever. just look at what Microsoft ruined
|
oftentimes i see very intelligent pple talk about nokia and i get mystified. people actually think that its possible for samsung to compete with the company that made these phones? NOBODY designs phones like Nokia. That in itself is differentiation. I dare anyone to tell us he would not take any of these phones if they were running android or IOS!!
|
And Agent Elop has completed his work. big shame. now watch microsoft take what's left of nokia's portfolio especially those valuable mapping assets and ruin them |
