Adebayor is key but when you have a player who was eager to dump you guys, Wenger should have made alternative arrangement. Given Arsenal's defensive weaknesses, I think you should even consider playing one striker up front.

I think they could have used the money they spent on Ronaldinho to strengthen the defence. They had Inzaghi, Pato, Borriello and Gilardino(shouldn't have let him go), they could have easily signed the likes of Santacroce or Barzagli - they are not necessarily world-class but they could do a good job in the centre of defence.
