Dr Williams noted that Orthodox Jewish courts already operated, and that the law accommodated the anti-abortion views of some Christians.I wonder where the vermin saw this unheard of 'accomodation' .All I know is that as someone said,"His Grace is a disgrace". This is an Anglican Archbishop who keeps equivocating about his faith-he even suggested to his congregation that Homer and Marge Simpson are exemplary parents! If only the Queen can "have a word" with this senile poltroon,we will be rid of his emetic proposals and he can return to the splendid obscurity he once occupied |
ArchBishop Rowan Williams is a perfidious vermin. The sooner that weasel leaves from his post, the better. There have been calls for the glib idiot to resign but there are few means of forcefully removing the man.Let's hope he comes to his senses, whatever may be left of it,and tenders his resignation ASAP. |
Ann Coulter is an irrelevant attention-seeking windbag.I guess McCain Derangement Syndrome has gotten the better of her or she might be considering the "vagina" vote for Hillary. |
You mean a Tory who is fiscally conservative? The Tory party is a combination of fiscal and social conservatives. UKIP is a fringe party that only is significant in respect of European elections.BNP is an overhyped non-entity.There are rightist parties in the US-e.g Reform Party-that command far greater followership than the BNP. The 3 main parties in England are the Lib Dems,Labor and the Tories.Sure there are a lot of fringe parties in the UK but same applies to the US.The Tories still remain the natural ideological home for any conservative-fiscal or social. |
Anywhere else? In Britain, fiscal and social conservatives are natural bedfellows in the Tory Party.Same goes for Christian Democrats(Germany),Likud(Israel),Liberal Party(Australia) It is natural that in such a big country, you have ideological coalitions in a party. This is not restricted to the GOP.There are Southern Democrats who are more socially conservative than many North East and West Coast Republicans. The most socially conservative people in America are ardent Democrats-Blacks. No group of people are more likely to attend church and express religiosity than black Americans. The most blatant cases of homophobia are not be found in the Bible-belt but within African-American communities. |
omoge25:Show me the website. It is definitely not the one you cited. |
Firstly,Nigeria is not a race so making denigrating comments about Nigeria/Nigerians can hardly be described as racism. Secondly, how is a worker at the Justice Dept "Pres Bush's attorney"? |
Blatant:As usual, complete tosh. The US has fought in 2 wars-Iraq and Afghanistan-since the Bush Administration. The Clinton Adiministration managed to bomb Iraq,Sudan,Afghanistan,Bosnia(95),Kosovo(99) as well as invade Haiti, not counting the debacle in Somalia. |
RichyBlacK:Interfering with? The IAEA has never complained that the US is preventing it from doing its work.To the contrary,it is Iran that has hindered the IAEA's discharge of its responsibilities prompting the IAEA to issue various reports noting Iran's various malfeasance. Legal obligations come with sanctions-the IAEA on its own cannot apply the neccessary measures to gain Iranian compliance. The sanctions have to be applied by the UNSC-this is where the US comes in.Without the US,the IAEA cannot compel the Iranians to discharge their obligations. To state that "Iran has always cooperated with the IAEA" demonstrates a gross disregard of the facts. The facts are, that as the IAEA has frequently noted,Iran isn't complying fully with its legal obligations. Anybody with a modicum of knowledge about Iran would have heard for instance of Natanz-this was a nuclear facility which the Iranians denied existed-to now claim that they have always cooperated is incredibly ridiculous. |
@almondjoy What would explain the Republicans victory in 5 out of the last 8 presidential elections,if they didn't have a clue what they were doing? So it is a result of bi-partisanship. . . .isn't that tosh? There is only one member of Congress who belonged to the KKK.Do you know what party he(Robert Byrd) belongs to? Remind me again which party voted against the prohibition of slavery or which party's congressmen voted in higher proportions against the Civil Rights Act. If the only GOP policies you are aware of are "family values" issues, that tells us more about you than the GOP. |
mystikal:That is the whole point.Romney's withdrawal allows the GOP to reserve resources for the main battle. almondjoy:Over the past 40 years, the Republicans have been running the White House in 28 of those years. If they didn't know what they were doing, the country would have gone down the pits wouldn't it? |
toshmann:Come back and give us feedback Hope say you never put money before this disaster ![]() |
Mukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii This your glory hunting don end tonight 4-1 Its a humiliation. . . . . like that game against Arsenal at White Hart Lane. ![]() |
@toshmann No rule out Nigeria o.We still get chance My money is on Nigeria to win the Nations Cup. ![]() |
@Muki I still dey wait, make you post Sierra Leone results. Why you never post am? ![]() |
@Afam You always sound like a rancid cretin. That I switched my user name was made known by me from the very first day. Obviously, you probably expect a public announcement but since when did I have to meet the absurd expectations of the putrid minded like you? |
@debosky The regulatory environment provided ESKOM with a virtual monopoly that impeded private investment. If the Govt had given the green light to private investors, while deregulating the sector,we can talk of "failure of private investment".This is however far from the case in S.A |
WASHINGTON (AP) - John McCain effectively sealed the Republican presidential nomination on Thursday as chief rival Mitt Romney suspended his faltering presidential campaign.http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8ULK3JG1&show_article=1 That's the spirit. The GOP should save its energy and money for the Presidential elections in Nov.Let the Democrats slug it out between themselves till their heart's delight. The ideal scenario will be Obama beating Clinton in the delegates race but Clinton, through the instrumentality of the super delegates, clinching the nomination. That is not a far fetched prognosis. |
RichyBlacK:Every legal right is balanced by restrictions.Just like your freedom of speech is restricted by the legal rules pertaining to defamation for instance, so also is Iran's right to peaceful nuclear technology restricted by its NPT obligations. The main arbiter on these matters-the IAEA-has noted that Iran is not fully complying with its legal obligations. You cannot invoke your legal rights when you have failed to fully discharge your legal obligations-the 2 go together.Iran's rights are subject to its obligations, you can't have one without the other. |
RichyBlacK:Why not address the substance of the claims instead of flinging wild conspiracy theories? Unless France and Britain for instance, are all part of the "idiotic toddlers running US foreign policy",your rant is baseless. They have all said the same thing. Is Iran enriching uranium?Yes. Is Iran developing missile delivery systems?Yes.Are these 2 aspects crucial ingredients of a nuclear weapons program?Yes. The key is for Iran to fully comply with its international obligations.Even Russia has misgivings about Iran's nuclear programme. |
I think the delegates count is not yet settled but Obama edges it going by the most recent projections. |
There is no doubt that the US intelligence agencies over-egged the situation with the manner in which the report was written. It is not so much the content of the report per se but its perceived implication. The impression was given that a nuclear weapon's programme constituted only of attempts to design a nuclear warhead. That is certainly misleading.Such a programme has 3 key components-designing nuclear warheads, enriching uranium and developing delivery capacity. The report claimed that Iran had stopped work on the 1st in 2003-designing nuclear warheads-but it seems to have continued with the other 2.The irony is that designing nuclear warheads is the least important or difficult part of a nuclear weapons programme. Even the report noted that even in regards this aspect-the design of nuclear warheads-it couldn't say with any certainty what Iran was doing at the moment. If the Iranians conclude the other 2 aspects of their nuclear programme unhindered by the international community,it will be months away from a bomb if they re-start(if this hasn't already happened) their design programme. |
Mr Inverter,if you have nothing substantive to say(which is usually the case),why not move along? Don't you have things to sell at Alaba market? ![]() |
