With Condi's impressive academic background, she's been an utter failure in signing up to Bush's politics of idiocy. I have no respect for people like her, who sheepishly follow a strategy based on all the stupidity this world can muster, her PhD notwithstanding!
That is where you and I differ.I have respect for the intellect of succesful people even where I have a bottomless contempt for their politics.

A nobody like you has no business calling certain people- fools,idiots,morons,retards,e.t.c-you can pour scorn on the character of these people or their policies but you can't question their intellect, especially when we all know you will never acheive a tenth of what they have.
Ok Michelle is definitely NOT uglier than Condi

I don't think anyone is.
Hmmm. . . . .using RichyBlack's logic(illogic is more apt),you have no business questioning Rice's looks. With this level of reasoning from Ol' Rich,he won't make it into any elite institution whether in the UK,US or even Somalia grin

Seriously though,I think Rice is more beautiful than Michelle.Michelle "Wowo" Obama na the Mother of All Ugliness! grin
PoliticsRe: Super Tuesday by 4Play(m): 1:56am On Feb 11, 2008
@RichyBlack

On what basis are you comparing Wolfowitz's or Rice's intellect with that of Obama?  huh How much of Ms Obama's political philosophy or policy positions do you actually know of? Unless you are attributing  Barack's positions to his wife which will be ridiculous.

Lets take Rice for instance, graduated at 19,had doctorate at 26,Ast.Prof at 27,Provost of Stanford at 39(youngest ever) and a Senior Fellow  at the Hoover Institution.

Her achievements are far more startling than Michelle(we only know Michelle because of the achievements of her husband)-her highest achievement in academia was being an Associate Dean of Student Affairs, highest in the public sector was as Assistant Commisioner within the City Council.Rice was Special Assistant to the US President for National Security Affairs when she was 35!

Did I add that Rice is drop dead ugly?I think Michelle is uglier than her though  grin

Having said all that,it still hasn't stoppped you from questioning her intellect. While Rice was becoming an Assistant Prof at 27 with Stanford, you have spent your youth chasing women up and down the US and you have mouth to talk about Rice  grin

@RichyBlack

You see how you contradict yourself? grin

Is it not the same way you will never smell Yale or Harvard Business School but still find the time to mock G.W Bush's brainpower grin

Are you ever going to achieve the scholarly feats of Wolfowitz,Condoleeza Rice,Rumsfeld or Douglas Feith. . . . . . .well,I have seen enough of your posts to answer a resounding "NO"!That hasn't stopped you from questioning their intellect.

Nobody questions Michelle's brainpower/intellect but we do question her highly gorgonian looks. No matter how much I disagree with well known lefties,I have never resorted to questioning their intelligence. This has always been the irony with the Bush hating mob.Almost all of them have lower levels of intelligence than any person in the White House but they still question the intellect of people who are clearly better than them. grin

I have to say, Ann Coulter happens to have my respect. She is about one of the only women on the planet with seriously extreme views but still knows how to remain sexy and dress great. I mean she scares me with the way she stands her ground and argues her views which are mostly not popular with those she engages on the most and she has my respect for that as well.
Failing to see what "dressing great and remaining sexy" has to do with substantive issues undecided

Opposing McCain or indeed or any other politician is all well and good except where the opposition is based on hysterical unfounded assumptions.Coulter is a ghastly pundit who thrives in seeking attention instead of addressing issues in a coherent and logical manner.

I am better looking than Barack, never mind Michelle. grin

Michelle sort of fits the stereotype of brainy women being relatively uglier than less brainy women. Its always difficult to combine beauty and brains.

Personally,I would rather have a Michelle than a Genevieve but Michelle is a wee bit too ugly for my liking. grin

Ok. This is quite an interesting thread.

How do u guys know who the one is?
Are there certain attributes u look for in a girl?
In the context of relationships, this is where being a man is incredibly advantageous. Women's choice of partners is limited to those men who approach-very rarely do women approach men.

Men on the other hand have tremendous leeway in choosing the "one"

Blatant:
Absolutely nonsensical.
everytime the Clinton administration intervened anywhere, it was for just causes and it had the support of most of the rest of the world. George, on the other hand, has attacked Iraq for no justifiable reason and he has created more havoc than most other evil people known in history probably except Hitler.
Everytime Clinton intervened? That is hogwash. You seem to have swallowed hook, line and sinker, everything the MSM has fed you.Let's take a couple of these "just causes" you speak of.

When Clinton bombed Sudan, the administration said it was bombing a factory that was being utilised by Iraq,Sudan and Al-Qaeda to produce chemical weapons.Do you still think Iraq and al-Qaeda were running that factory?

When Kosovo was bombed, this was condemned by Russia,India,China the NAM(Non-Aligned Movement) and most members of the UN General Assembly, even Mandela inclusive.Who constitutes this "most of the rest of the world" you speak of?The intervention was so baseless that the US didn't bother moving it for deliberations with the UN Security Council.

Interestingly, the death toll in kosovo before US intervention was in the hundreds, the death toll during Saddam's reign was 390,000 not including the 2m that died in various wars. You seem to think that the death of hundreds is sufficient casus belli, while the deaths of 2.3m demands business as usual.

Bush caused more havoc around the world? Was it not during the Clinton administration that al-Qaeda opened training camps in Afghanistan, producing thousands of well trained terrorists, largely untouched? Was it not during that administration that Africa used to pay $11 back to the West for every $1 we received in development aid?

With most in the MSM being left-leaning,people shouldn't swallow every thing they are fed. From an African perspective,I would rather prefer a President that helped cancel debt repayments and increased development aid to one who reduced aid and made us pay through our nose for loans we took from the IMF and the World Bank.

Extract from a Nigerian Anglican Bishop's response:

", once you ask for the first step of Sharia law you are going to get to the last of it. By 1960 when Nigeria got Independence, it began as penal code. Once it came to this generation they upgraded it to full blown Sharia. So it is only a matter of time when you begin from somewhere that you get to the real thing."

If denigrating remarks about Nigeria/Nigerians amounts to racism,we need to condemn pretty much every non-Nigerian who is aware of Nigeria since quite a sizeable amount of them have little good to say about us.

For instance, what about Oprah? Is she racist too?

The proposal doesn't have the slightest chance of seeing the light of day. However,my gripe is with that nauseating ArchBishop who needs to be sectioned.

Beyond that, his proposal exposes a growing tendency in the West-motivated by cowardice-to kowtow to Muslim perceived wishes even where Muslims aren't making any particular demands.

Whether this is reflected in banning certain toys or children's stories,it reveals a disturbing trend towards appeasement that does neither the West nor Muslims any favors.
