Op to avoid head injury don't use the word 'lesser beings'. Use weaker sex. Its more polite and acceptable. In fact I hear there's a new one now, fairer sex. Odiegwu. |

carefreewannabe: Who liked my post? People need to know.I did. |
boynoel: Good evening all,90% description of me. I will answer you before I read what others said. You are a SENSITIVE person. Your sensitivity bars you from making good friends and that means you have a tendency to be a lone wolf. People who don't understand sensitive people don't know what we go through. Unfortunately we are the minority in the world and so we need to adjust to fit in with others or we end up keeping to ourselves. Realise that she didn't mean what she said as much as you thought she meant it. That's the key. Most of these folk talk sh1t they hardly really mean. Even if they mean it its not a do or die affair for them and they'll forget what they said a few minutes or at most a day later while we play it in our minds over and over again for years. Get over it. You HAVE to. If not you'll go through your whole life without any deep friends and that can really suck. Force yourself to realise that most times they JUST DONT MEAN IT the way you see it. I woke up to this in the university. Its never too late to change your attitude. And its more fun on the other side I assure you. Sure once in a while you'll regress back to that old shell, I mean , it never really leaves but you can put it under control. Shalom. |
cococandy: He's meanderingIf this is what you could get from all I've been saying then I give up. You win. |
cococandy: That's where you're still being ridiculous.Just washed my car hence my delay in answering you. This your answer is like kicking the ball into your own goalpost. Its like you don't get what I'm trying to say here. Look at the bolded in your quote. If someone was bold enough to want to pass that into law, what's stopping other countries from following suit in the future? You think it wont come up again And yes WE went up in arms and fought hard against it. If we had decided that it was none of our business and kwpt quiet it probably would have be quietly passed into law and become the norm by now. When the gay movement was passed into law in the 'developed' countries we registered outrage but invariably left it alone, after all, wetin concern us? But now they are essentially shoving gayism down our throats and threatening us with sanctions if we don't comply! That's what I am talking about, when we see something wrong and say its not our business cos it doesn't affect us we err because soon it will be our business and it would have grown so strong we won't be able to do anything about it. Just because someone is better than you in most regards doesn't mean you cannot call the person to order when he makes a mistake. |
cococandy: Of course I will laugh at this.Nobody is talking about rape here. I'm talking about a full grown adult taking permission to 'love' a 10yr old, 15yr old child. As long as the child consents there will be no problem. Yes it sounds outlandish but so did gayism a while back. There's this song they used to sing those days 'because everybody does it , doesn't make it right...' You seem to think that the more people that are into a thing , the more 'acceptable' it is. Read about the relationship between sailors and the women and men of the Hawaiian islands. Surely that was right. Or slavery, Even the church was engaged in it so it must have been right... What about the near genocide of the Jews by Nazi Germany? Oh, now you are squeamish but that is because Germany lost. I'm not interested in how many gay people you know now, I'm telling you NOT SPEAKING UP AGAINST A MOVEMENT you know to be wrong will definitely propagate its growth. |
cococandy: What is the relationship?Yes it did. Its stopped them right until the 20th century when 'its none of our business', 'live and let live' became the norm. Did you know homosexuality was considered a kind of mental illness until just recently? And now it is seen as normal more and more people are suddenly finding out they are gay or bi- or whatever? Just because a human being feels something doesn't mean it should become the norm for everybody. One day paedophilia is going to be seen as normal. Kids are going to be given the choice whether they want a sexual relationship or not. Children will be raised in a non-gender biased environment and given injections to delay puberty until they are old enough to decide whether they want to remain male or female. This will be compulsory for every citizen's child whether you like it or not because by then it will he passed into law. They will then tell you that all kids were most unhappy and had to live their lives in depression and sadness before this new law came out. They will give you statistics of child and adolescent suicide and ascribe it to gender depression. And people will accept it as true. And so on... You will laugh at this and say its just plain crazy, it can't happen! Well, that's what the pre-19th century people would have said about our generation. Will give further examples later, preparing g for church. |
For those who can't read between the lines: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because it was none of my business Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because it was none of my buisness Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because it was none of my business Then they came for me—and even though it was now my buisness, there was no one left to speak for me. |
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. -Martin Niemöller |
Godmystrength: it is not my business how someone decides to live his/her life o. whether gay, lesb, transgender etc. as long as they don't come to mess with my OWN life.We are going to keep saying its none of our business, its none of our business, and these things are going to continue to grow in strength until its passed into law and it is forced on us and our children. This 'Its none of my business' is a phrase from the pit of hell. If we see something wrong or abnormal we should speak up against it unless one day it will be thrust upon us as the right/normal thing to do. |
Chillisauce: 5minmadness, you didn't tell us you be conductor. Abi you leave your own pepper run enter the bus go hide while nairalanding. What, there's shame in being a conductor now? ![]() But seriously an umbrella was offered to her and she took it and covered the baby with it without removing the plastic wrapper. The baby was now hidden from us and still crying. She eventually dropped the umbrella later as it was hindering her pepper business. When I started shouting all over the place the conductor told me to leave her alone. Even the other passengers kept mute. This is wrong! In a sane society the woman should know better or at least officials of some sort can take care of the baby while she sells her pepper or whatever. Gosh this is so depressing... |
cococandy: That's what they do. I was shocked the first time I saw it. You've seen it before? This is the first time I'm seeing. g such a thing o! |
esof1: I don't support her stupidity, but Op where do u want her to keep the baby or with whom shud she keep d baby? What if they steal d baby wherever she keeps it? Its obvious she's a street trader (no shade or shop). If she no sell pepper because of d rain and baby, the others kids including d baby nor go chop today. I don't blame her. There was shade everywhere, she could have stayed under the shade for goodness sake! I understand she's trying to hustle but what if something happens to the child? It was actually crying in there and when I shouted on her she removed the plastic for like two seconds then put it back. |
Double post. |
Poverty? Or Stupidity? Its raining heavily here in Benin city. This woman outside the bus selling pepper in the rain is backing a baby and covering it with cellophane. I called her attention to it and she ignored me. Thinking she didn't hear me I called her again and told her the baby could choke that she should go out of the rain and remove the baby from the rain but she refused. Even her customer shouted on her but she ignored her as well. The bus conductor has said we should ignore her and mind our business. Its so upsetting . how much does she want to make from the pepper that she cant go under the shade for short while?

The door remained open. Caleb kept using the jammed gun to push back zombie efe who was beginning to struggle back inside. Silas was swinging the computer chair at the other zombies to keep them from returning. "Doc close the door!!!" He yelled. "Why doesn't he close it? Caleb shouted" Behind them Barry stood. A deep bite on his back oozed blood; the place where Michael had bitten him when they were holding efe down. During the confusion no one had noticed. Now he was a full fledged zombie and the two people who had their backs to h smelled good enough to eat. He grunted and shuffled forward, reaching out for the unsuspecting Caleb... A blast from a revolver tore out his knee and he fell to the floor. Caleb and Silas turned around in shock only to see a zombified Barry struggling to its feet and Dr Burke standing behind them. Dr Burke fired another shot and zombie Barry's head exploded. Caleb and Silas quickly carried the now still body and threw it out of the room and the Dr leaned forward and pressed a button and the door slid shut. There was silence for a moment as Silas and Caleb struggled to catch their breath. Dr Burke watched them with interest. "They are very simple rules , really." He said. "It wouldn't kill you to follow them." |
Silas watched in shock and disgust as a door suddenly slid shut between them and the doctor. The bastard had been holding out on them after all. "Doctor! Doc! Open the door!" He shouted even as he slammed the gun into zombie efe like a club. A voice came over the intercom: I warned you. "Yeah okay okay, I wasn't paying attention! I get it now open the gaddem door!" No can do. Its more logical for me to keep this door shut. I can also operate the main door from here. I plan on opening it. You can either use the opportunity to escape or you get bitten and turned into a zombie in which case I'll simply stay here until you guys walk your undead selves out of here in search of food. Then I can shut the door and clean up the mess. "So you would willingly allow Caleb, Barry and I to die in here, knowing that you could have done something to save us?!" Silas shouted. "That would make you a monster. You are no different from the zombies we are trying to fight off. No I take that back, the zombies don't k ow what they are doing but you do. You are a worse monster!" "Oh cry me a river!" The voice cackled. "This is all your fault! You broke some simple rules and now you want to turn it on me? Bullshit!" Caleb struggled away from Efe and Barry tripped the zombie as it lunged after him. As zombie efe fell they both pounced on him, pinning his hand behind his back even as zombie Michael shuffled towards them. Klein was still pinning Sven down but was shaking his head desperately and snarling. Soon he would be completely zombified. Zombie jenny lay snapping on the floor. "Doctor if you are not going to help is then open the door let us throw them out!" Caleb shouted. "Or at least so we can run out!" "That I can do." The voice said and theain door swung open. Luckily there were no zombies at the entrance. On seeing the door open Klein screamed at the top of his voice and then bodily lifted Sven from the floor. He half carried, half dragged the zombie to the entrance and threw it out. Silas and Caleb followed suit, striking and kicking at zombie Michael and zombie efe, trying to force them out the door. They succeded in driving zombie Michael who for some reason wasn't interested in the fight and kind of wandered out by itself but zombie Efe was more stubborn. It struggled and lunged and grappled and tried to bite. Eventually Caleb left Silas and barry to deal with him and picking zombie jenny by the legs and making sure to keep a away from her snapping jaws, he flung her out. It was only then zombie Efe backed off though still snarling at them. "Close the damn door now, doctor!" Silas yelled. |
"Holy shit! Holy shit!! Holy shit!!!" Barry screamed as he avoided being bitten by the now rabid Michael. Silas was struggling in the corner with zombie efe and Klein was holding zombie Sven down although there was already a deep bleeding gash in his cheek where zombie jenny had bitten him. She still snapped her jaws as she lay on the floor, munching on the flesh from Klein's face. Caleb used the butt of the gun to bash efe on the head but that simply infuriated the zombie further. It abandoned its pursuit of Barry and went after Caleb instead. Dr Burke hung to the wall, gently easing his way I to the inner room. Everybody was too involved in thier life and death struggles to notice him. The situation had gone out of control and he had to contain it. He managed to pass Silas and Zombie Efe grappling in the corner and jumped over Klein whose flesh was already turning white although he was still struggling to retain his personality. He was strong. For a fleeting moment Dr Burke wished he was the one who had entered the room with him...then the moment passes as Klein stopped strangling Sven and made a grab at him. He backed away from all of them and entered the second room, the kitchen. He dived under the sink and looked around anxiously for a lever. His fingers finally closed on the hidden flat object and he pulled hard. The door separating the kitchen from the computer room slid shut immediately. There were screams of indignation from the other side but Dr Burke didn't care. He collapsed on the floor, his back against the wall and heaved a sigh of relief. |
