modelee: WHO REALLY OWNS A MAN? HIS MOTHER OR WIFE? ARGUMENT: {Mother} - My son must obey me unless he didn't suck my breasts for 1yr. {Wife} - He sucks mine now and sucked it for more than 5yrs and is still sucking. (Mother} - I carried him for nine months. {Wife} - He was only 3.5kg then, so what's the big deal? I carry him every night and he is 85kg now. {Mother} - He passed between my legs with pains. {Wife} - Hahaha, he only passed there once, he stays between my legs like everyday and I scream with pains each night. Please WHO OWNS A MAN? Tell us your answer. The wife sounds like a disrespectful b1tch to me. All the things she outlined, the man would have probably done same to a lot of other women, so there is nothing special in what she is saying. Does she know how many breasts the man would have sucked for pleasure or other selfish reasons. But he sucked his mother's breast for nourishment and survival. His mother carried him IN HER BODY for months. She carried him everywhere she went, even to the toilet. she couldnt drop him for a single second until the 9months were over. And she bled profusely and brought him out of her womb at the risk of her own life. Yet even sugarcane prostitutes carry 85kg men for the 10mins of sex and even then the man's weight isn't fully on her. Even then the man is bearing his own weight to an extent and can roll off at any time. Nothing special there. And we are yet to see a woman that "screams in pain every night", many married women try if they can have sex three times a week. Even this is rare. Only the mother is unique in what she has done for him. The wife needs to EARN the respect the mother already has. QED. |

chocolateme: Hmm.. Looking at the guy's picture, seeing his handsomeness, height, fair skin, and fashion taste and over all physical profile, who wouldn't like or love him? But what is he actually aside all these physical attributes? A beast and monster whose traits are always hidden and buried even when love was overwhelming them before marriage. The animal in him has been provoked and his true nature has manifested. Women can drive you nuts sometimes into doing what you don't want to do but if you have a level of self control, you will overcome them. He should be made to pay for such dastardly act, reprimand him in prison for atleast a year.
I keep telling guys.. If you plan to get married, get about 2 ducks to live with you for one week only. And if by the end of one week, you don't slaughter them out of flaring temper, then I guess you are ready to take a wife" Point. The man is evil though. Using a plier on her ears! But then again that's what anger and frustration does, It blinds reason and logical thought. the woman looks like she was hit by a frieght truck. |

ifyjohnson: Well brother maybe you misunderstood me I know creating happens everywhere in the world but my question is can a man still claim to luv a woman he cheats on? In other words saying a man can cheat without having any emotional attachment is what I find funny
My two cents Yes he can. Men easily seperate love from sex. Women on the other hand, don't. Men don't need an emotional attachment to sleep with a woman, all they need is her green light. |
Family › Re: Why Do Nairalanders Always Wish People Bad? by 5minsmadness: 7:07pm On Nov 19, 2015 |
Its because this is an anonymous forum.
As a social experiment nairaland has proved that people bring out the worst in themselves when they feel they will suffer no repercussions. Funny enough this seems to be more prevalent among Nigerians. I have been to one or two other anonymous sites and I can boldly say the vitriol in those places is not overflowing as it is in this place.
I think if you scratch below the surface a bit, you will find out that Nigerians as a people suffer from mass population depression and a general overdose of low self esteem. This may have been brought about by being under bad leadership and chronic suffering for so long. Studies have shown that people who have been oppressed for long periods of time find succor in oppressing others. It is all they know. So any chance they have to do this they grab it will all their might. This manifests in cussing, insulting, jeering at, lying to and generally behaving rudely to anyone they come across. It is an opportunity for them to feel some relief from the victims they perceive themselves to be in real life. |

TV01: Run young man run - Part I
A lot of damage can happen to women – and be embedded when they are young (and sometimes not so young ) and have unfettered freedom. They may well read this as liberty to do as they please. And, I’m not actually out to question that right in this piece
However, where that liberty is availed of by women with a partially formed, or simply bad character, to make poor choices, or engage in destructive behaviour, I would candidly advise men to avoid choosing such women as spouses.
A young woman may undergo trauma in a number of ways; daddy issues, runs, sugary, being pumped and dumped, used, sexually or physically abused, or defrauded.
In some instances, she will actually believe she’s having a good time, or even “in love”, but in truth, she is damaging herself and being damaged, and as a consequence she will acquire baggage. This she will undoubtedly carry into future relationships. And it will in no way diminish the entitlement she feels to a “high-value” husband.
And then she meets you, and figures she can actualise her desires. She knows to be economical with the truth about her past, adopt a revisionist view of her personal history, re-direct blame for anything that’s evident, and paint a picture of herself as someone you are actually lucky to be with.
She’ll know how to describe her poor choices and waywardness as her being “naïve”, or her destructive behaviour as her being wrongly influenced – by friends, or a man. She’ll play a whole pack of victim cards. Yes, she’ll talk of “healing”, but it’s spin. She is damaged goods.
Dude, you are not buying. You don’t even visit that section of the market. It’s simply too big a risk! It’s too big a risk because if you do, here are some of the things that will possibly happen;
She’ll have romanticised the actual trauma she experienced – she’ll remember the trans-atlantic flights, the swish hotels, the shopping sprees, the meals at fancy restaurants, the happening clubs, and of course the hot sessions. She’ll remember the tingles she used to get from being rebellious, a transgressor and hanging with bad boys.
And she’ll have internalised this “romance” as part of her entitlement and the “expectation” of her husband - without the trauma, what trauma? Yes, from you, the hard working, conscientious – and perhaps relatively dull by comparison - guy who just wants to provide as best he can for his family.
Over time she gets disgruntled, resentment sets in. You are spending a lot of time managing, petting, appeasing, or simply dealing with the wider fallout of her damaged behaviour. Time and energy best spent establishing your home and forging ahead.
It is regressive and costly, you’ll find it tiresome and tedious, a real stressor. The peace every man wants in his home seems far from you. She’s bitter antagonistic, wilfully caustic and spiteful. A right nag.
She’ll consider you not giving in to, or prioritising her desires as maltreatment. But since that word no longer exists, it’s simply the wide-ranging term “abuse”. Her longings and revisionist memories will mean she may never consider anything you do good enough.
Her “tingle-memory” will mean she may never consider you to be the man she truly deserves or desires. It spirals – downwards! She gets more resentful and disgruntled – especially if there are any other pressures on the home, or outside interest in her – she ain’t loyal!
Obviously you are to blame, it’s always the man right? You are not ambitious enough, caring enough, or romantic enough. You don’t fulfil her needs. You are not worthy of your “headship”, you are not “leading” right – after all, she decides that right? She’ll be prone to second-guessing you, undermining you, even disrespecting you. She will meet any challenge to her behaviour out of that same poorly formed, damaged character.
Then, her pack of cards comes out – she’s a victim, it’s your fault. That is, you cheated her, you abuse her – yep, she’s in a “shitty marriage”! She deserves a divorce. And with the campaign to moralise divorce, especially, if you’re in a Western country, she will most likely get one. Even if she doesn’t, she will make your life difficult, if not outright hell.
If you are really unlucky, she’ll use the power of the courts and police to humiliate you, keep you from your children, and possibly label you a paedophile. You’ll likely be labelled a domestic abuser as a matter of course. Many women use the threat of and/or intermittent police action to keep their husbands subdued. Many men cower in their own homes, subject to the capriciousness of a damaged woman who was never wife-grade in the first instance.
I repeat – stay away from damaged goods. You are a man of character. Hopefully God-fearing, hardworking and willing to sacrifice to build a happy and solid family. Don’t cast your pearls before swine. Choose a spouse that is worthy.
You are a man, think strategically, consider your family bloodlines, kinship ties, think of your generations. It’s not just about you, that is why you have to be really considered about her. Be a man of worth and set your expectations high
All the best as you navigate your way towards marriage, make excellent matches and establish your homes.
TV
…don’t forget, it’s always a buyers market In all humility i wish I could write like you. Well said. |

Family › Re: Please Am Darely In Need Of Your Candid Advice On My Relationship by 5minsmadness: 4:58pm On Nov 19, 2015*. Modified: 7:11pm On Nov 19, 2015 |
barbiegirl4luv: I am at the point of making a choice that would determine my future (future partner) and I am kinda confused as well as trying not to be sentimental in my choice.
I met a guy in some years ago (2012) where I went to do my IT in another state, then I was in my 300 level, then he was doing his masters, this guy loved me so much that he couldn't hide it, we were friends and later he told me his intentions, I told him am in a relationship (my BF was abroad) and I can't afford to be unfaithful neither would I want to break up with him cos he has done nothing wrong, he begged me so much that he was ready to do anything to have me, he comes to me sometimes and as he is begging tears would roll down his eyes, I wouldn't know when I would join him in crying too (lol). I later realised I had feelings for him but I had to control it. At a point my boyfriend was suspecting something going on between me n the guy so I had a chat with my bf and I said so many things (so many bad things to nail him, how he talks, speaks, not too fine, as in the conversation was nailing) about the guy to him to cover up, unluckily for me I begged him to help me with something in my mail so gave him my password, he then read my chat with my BF (everything), I saw him later and he couldn't hold it but tell me what he saw (he was crying, saying, y are u using my weaknesses against me?) I couldn't but join him to cry n told him I had to do it cos my BF was suspecting we r having an affair since we r always together. I then apologised and he said no problem but conscience kills me every time am around him (guilty conscience). He believed so much in me and tell me every time "you are a blessing to anybody that comes across you, you are a great girl" Even with all that he did not change to me, he tried and tried to make me realised that he loved me so much but it was all a NO for me. the day I was to leave he met me n cried seriously and told me he would never forget me even if he gets married to his wife, I would always be in his mind and that he know he doesn't deserve me. And if not that I was extremely careful I would have dated him. So since 2012 till date he still calls me, he is now a lecturer in one of the federal universities.
2013 I and my (abroad) BF broke up and I informed him abt it, he didn't say anything, 2014 I started dating another guy during service, I told him he still didn't say anything abt it. Now my relationship is a year and my BF too is a loving n caring person I like him so much, he is an IBO guy. After service I came back to lagos and since then it's been a long distant relationship and it's been going on well and fine. And I have tried my best to be focused and keep away from everyone that comes my way, cos I have so many people on my neck but I do make them understand nothing can happen. Though I have an attitude, once am in a relationship anyone that comes my way is irrelevant no matter status I can never change my mind unless my relationship crashes and I do make sure the fault would not be from me.
Some weeks ago this my long time friend called me, an argument came up and I didn't even want to hear him out, all of a sudden I realised he was crying on phone saying it's because I know he loved me so much am treating him so bad. When I heard that, I felt sober and guilty and thought about everything that even with everything I have done to this guy he never gave up.
I want to get married now, my BF doesn't talk about marriage and every time I bring it up he tries to cover it up, and I know he loves me too.
So I thought about it that I should give this guy a trial, but I dnt want to make a costly mistake and like my mum tells me "marry someone that loves you not someone you love"
Please I need your candid advice and please share your thoughts.
Thanks. Marry the crying boyfriend! He truly loves you! After all these years you were still able to make him cry... He was still able to declare his love for you... Even when u said u had broken up your relationship he didn't rush in so it wouldn't look like he wanted to take advantage of you... Although now it seems that plan backfired. If he is still single start seeing him again. Get into his life and see if he has changed in character towards you. If he hasn't then for goodness sake marry him. Choose HIM! Please... sorry, I'm... dammit... |

ifyjohnson: God bless you sister I love the question you asked her yes this is reality as she said but telling me a man who cheat still loves his wife is absurd dat is where our problem is coming from our orientation and mentality is faulty Men cheat on thier wives all over the world, not only in Nigeria. There is no faulty orientation or mentality. It is simply the sex drive and natural instinct at work. Of course it is morally wrong to do so, but that doesn't mean it does not happen. |

The bolded has answered my question by the way.... It's simple. The man has 'LIKENESS' for the woman he cheats on, while he 'LOVES' his wife. The bolded did not answer your question in any way. |

A man is built innately for war. He is physical, aggressive, adventurous and a natural provider.
A woman is built innately for comfort. She is emotional, a nurturer, a supporter, a homemaker.
A man is built naturally to dominate his woman. This isn't a bad thing as feminists would have us believe. It simply means the woman is under the man's care. He is to love and protect her. He is to make decisions that will better her ad improve on her life. He is her guardian, her keeper, her right arm, her strength. This is dominion. This is a man's love. This is a man's natural tendency. A normal, level headed woman would naturally submit to this. |
