scholesy18:Yes, they heard back on 11/04 and were refused. The VO officer was not satisfied with the evidence of prior relationship provided. |
Thought it was a glitch when I saw it at first. It only appears at the bottom of the front-page now.
|
scholesy18:Ah, I'm just after seeing the second page now. |
scholesy18:Hi @scholesy18, did you get any news today? Only one of the three join-family looking application numbers was approved this morning. Has anyone else heard back? |
WriterNig:Here you are calling your brother such a derogatory name because he disagrees with you on disputes between two Slavic brothers. If you were well educated as you want to pass on, you'd have avoided such a vile ad hominem in an argument over a war wey no concern you. If push came to shove, yous both will be in the same boat in any of these countries. Truth be told, what should one expect from someone who relishes war and destruction. |
Who posted the video? Why was the video shared? Why do other people feel the need to see children having sex? Coming in contact with child porn in any way can ruin your chances of ever getting a visa, worse, you'll be prosecuted and jailed. Beware! |
"Master", Tinubu must think he's sth more than a drug-addicted fraudster. Not that the pastor has covered himself in glory with the Buhari misrule, nonetheless, this is a vile poster from someone who wants to be perceived as being democratic. Anyway, what should one expect from a gutter agbero person like Tinubu. |
They were both at CDSS Ikeja together, in the same Orange class if my memory serves me right. I think that was because Tobe repeated SS1 or 2 because he was in the same class as Nancy, Anita's elder sister. This doesn't make the report true anyway. SM these days is full of dem say dem say thereby destroying people's homes and future. Which one of us can swear they were sleeping together? Were you there, na you lay the bed?! |
scholesy18:Hi guys, did anyone hear back this morning. I saw a lot refusals and just one approval in what looked like join-family applications made around August 2021. Many broken hearts and dreams. And the appeals process does sound even more daunting, it's terrifying. |
It's 3 in my experience. I'd say you're better off renewing in Ireland if you are not going away. Moreso, you can always ask for fast track with a cogent reason, eg, Visa needed for work travel, etc |
Paulheyman:Nice. I did Nanobiophysics with emphasis on protein-nanoparticle interactions in nanoparticle coronas. So MD simulation of docked nanoparticle Coronas which ran on high-performance computing (HPC) hardware in an NPT ensemble (at 310 K, 1 atm), with each protein’s simulation run lasting 300 ns culminating in about 1.2 µs overall simulation time. Love your story, well done, brother. |
To drive here, first, you'll have to sit and pass a theory test with a minimum pass mark of 87.5%, then you'll take 12 driving lessons while on a learners permit only then will you be issued a license. The point is, your Nigerian drivers license is worth nothing. |
Paulheyman:Congratulations brother, well done! Are you a Computational (theoretical) Physicist, a Chemist or a Molecular Biologist? As a Computational Physicist myself, the bold, including VMD and supercomputing are bread and butter. |
I know someone who applied in early August, 2021 whose visa was approved on Monday 4th April, 2022. I know another brother who applied in mid August that is yet to hear back. Ours was submitted in mid-September, 2021, meaning it's going on 7 months in a few days. I may be wrong, however, it appears the applications are left in storage until it's > 6 months since they were submitted. |
Azov is just a ploy, although some of the things said about their modus operandi is true. You have such neo-nazi organisations in all countries including the United States, cue Oath keepers and other groups involved in the Trump insurrection. The Germans are also battling some level of threats just now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeEr3rQxfdw For anyone that wants to understand more about the nuance in the illegal Russian war in Ukraine. This is what Putin is trying to capitalise on. These are videos from as far back as 8 years ago from the BBC and Channel 4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SBo0akeDMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QGFZev_h7g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE6b4ao8gAQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEKQsnRGv7s |
Dwebb55:Thanks. Interesting, what changes were applied? Will you please share a link to the webpage detailing the changes? |
Dwebb55:That's interesting considering the fact that it'll mean they applied after everyone did and still got their visas in record time. I would have sworn that there was a queueing system in place. Will you please interview them so that we can benefit from the information about what was done correctly? |
Blueberry111112:Yes, that advantage is gone. I know of a person who is bitter about it all and the housing crisis because he had the chance of going to the UK instead which he abandoned because of Brexit fears. The UK appears to be unshaken now and has started offering PSW visa from Autumn 2020 which was why Ireland saw an influx of foreign students. |
Dwebb55:One can't say what has happened at the embassy in Abuja, but join family applicants can feel some throttling. In the beginning we assumed it was due to the covid lockdowns, now, that shouldn't be the case anymore. Even before the lockdowns were eased, I heard of two people from a different region who got theirs in late 2021 in less than a month. |
Dwebb55:The examples I have highlighted are CSEP holders and Irish nationals. I want to believe your friend got theirs in 2020 before the world turned on it's head. |
Blueberry111112:Yes |
Blueberry111112:Yes, at least one couple have two kids. Their application was submitted in June 2021 and they are only after hearing back in February 2022. |
Hello, I posted this opinion on the requirements for join family visa process on the general thread. I reckon it will be useful here as well. • See https://www.irishimmigration.ie/coming-to-join-family-in-ireland/joining-an-irish-national/join-family-visa/ it tells you most of what you need to know. • You can prove communication by way of phone logs, text and instant messages. I'll advise you take copious screenshots of these over a good time period. If children are involved, showing evidence of communication with them too I have heard is essential. • Provide evidence of visitations by way of airline tickets, hotel bookings, family photos, etc. • You can prove dependency by highlighting regular money transfers for upkeep, etc on your bank statements. • Ensure you show enough funds in your accounts as being on a CSEP appears not to be enough especially for families with kids. • Get a letter of introduction from your landlord, employer and anyone else that can attest for you. • Your letter of invitation is very important too. Highlight particularly the need for family reunification, don't assume it's evident. Your spouse should do the same. List all documents attached, submitted and their purpose. • The process is long-drawn-out at the moment, I'll say expect up to a 8-9 month wait to hear back after submission |

Refer to the post by purplish, above. • Get a letter of introduction from your landlord, employer and anyone else that can attest for you. • Your letter of invitation is very important too. Highlight particularly the need for family reunification, don't assume it's evident. Your spouse should do the same. List all documents attached, submitted and their purpose. • The process is long-drawn-out at the moment, I'll say expect up to a 8-9 month wait to hear back after submission • While this thread is information rich, in my view, it's a general thread as such it's difficult to find specific information sometimes. I have created a separate thread for join family applications here https://www.nairaland.com/6901221/irish-join-family-visa-enquiries Good luck |

SarkinYarki:If you are a murderous psychopath, "getting cancelled" should be the least of your worries. |
scholesy18:Hi, a lot of people are in our shoes. I know people who applied in June 2021 who just heard back in February 2022. One can not really be sure as to why it is taking this long post-covid as it didn't according to people who got it pre-covid time. The priority appears to be student visa. You can find and follow the weekly report published every Monday in the link below, however, Join Family visa is not specifically labelled. https://www.dfa.ie/irish-embassy/nigeria/our-services/visas/weeklydecisionreports/ |
FreeStuffsNG:I couldn't say it better. Some old people even do worse like wetting or defecating on themselves on purpose because they are depressed or unhappy with their condition. Aggression is one of side effects of dementia. My African people, not everything is racism, remember the story of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" by Aesop..? Update from the Ghanaian lady in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BB_GOuAMOgU |
Julius "JuJu" Malema. The rebel prodigal son of the ANC. I love watching recordings of the SA parliament because of his and others antics. I love SA because we are brothers, I love SA because of Trevor, however, I don't love that they hate us so much and will kill foreigners given any opportunity. |
