You guys should stop being silly. It is the value of your Naira that is the major factor in this increment. Fuel importers/marketers can only sell what they buy, unless you are asking government to start subsidy all over again. Fuel price increment is inevitable. |
What are they cargoing in Bayelsa? Nigeria administrators are brain dead. Instead of this eejit to build an effective bus or rail system, he's building a cargo airport in the creeks!!! No good roads, schools or hospitals...OMG. |
eleojo23:Says who? Is the litre in the UK not the same as in Nigeria? Is it not the same oil? Nigerians and silly sentiments. Marketers can only sell what they buy. |
Almighty Saudi is in trouble too. They can't fund their social intervention programme and are trying to raise taxes with people resisting. United Kingdom. This is one of the reasons they did a brexit. The oil in the north Sea is even more difficult to produce than in other parts of the world. This makes production or further exploration not viable. Shell worldwide cut over 7,500 jobs last year and has done 5,000 this year. Closing shop in Manchester, Reading and here in Aberdeen. What of BP that saw quarterly profits drop by 91%, Talisman Sinopec etc? The north Sea is shaken by redundancy and is barely managing to hang on. That our highly corrupt oil-based economy is just in recession is a miracle. The things we need to do immediately to exit is what we should focus on now. |
What nonsense? The school Senate should try and expel them if found culpable. They are not above the law. There's no such dirty doctrine in Islam. |
Criminals, they blow up pipelines and expect the oil company to "follow due process" and give them N5m. Nonsense! Soldiers, fire them!!! |
This biography lends credence to the story of the dominance of the Ijebus in areas like Shomolu, Bariga, Oyingbo, Ebute-metta, etc in the past. |
Where is cheif oyoyo sweetus of banana iceland when you need him? Yuzedo, Rita dummynick need your 25" anaconda!!! |
Junk journalism. |
This really does not work. The government should remove it's hands from fuel price regulation. When prices go up or down, it is not government, it is market forces. This will make it difficult for anti-government and the forever useless labour unions to call senseless strikes. What is important to me atm is WTF is Emefiele doing about the exchange rate? Isn't it time to fire this guy PMB? |
This is long overdue. No more herding cattle from Maiduguri to Lagos. |
IPod pastor. Bloody charlatan ![]() |
Babangida70:This is just mean |
Haha Now they're crying, shaking in their boots. Fvcking traitors. NA smoke their cowardly åsses!![]() |
Good job by NCS. I love this part. To demonstrate his seriousness, Ali, three weeks ago, signed an agreement with the Beninoise government to the effect that any ship from Benin ports must be escorted by the Benin Customs and handed over to Nigerian Customs. He threatened to stop trade relations with Benin Republic if the government continues to allow contraband goods into Nigerian markets. No more imported rice, we have ours now. These "importers" should channel their energies towards bringing our rice from the hinterland to the city. |
I hope he doesn't purge ![]() |
WTF? |
I accidentally heard the frsc guy talking about this some months back. Even though he appeared and sounded educated, I'm sad to inform you that he is brain dead. These guys don't think! They're trying to implement sth that has failed in other places. Rather than have speed monitors on major roads, they're trying to foist speed limiters on people so that their cronies can make money. |
Fulani herdsmen should get cattle trucks like other cattle ranchers across the world. Stop behaving like fvcking savages. |
tit:"We"? Wetin concern agbero with overload? Jokers. |
basilo101:You guys just talk a lot of crap. Where have you been in your life? |
Good write up OP. The selection process appears largely transparent, I'm happy to know. |
Nigeria is not the only country with cows, ask yourself, Germany, UK, etc how do they do it. Herdsmen should stop rearing cows on the road, cows must not be allowed into private properties, cows must not eat farmers crops, blood thirsty herdsmen should stop killing people because of cows. I'm disappointed in Buhari, there are two things I expected him to have put in place by now: 1. Population census with biometric data capture and a national database. 2. Special courts to try corruption related offences. |
I can't stop laughing ![]() |
Beamborla:Agu, is that you Agu? "Everybody is calling you 'Strika', why? Are you liking war? Hey I'm asking you a question you're not talking. Are you having family? " what a legend! ![]() https://static.pulse.ng/img/incoming/origs5286585/2761857479-w640-h640/CnK6l65WAAAOWQ-.jpg @OP, Why don't men keep themselves till marriage too. Stupid question. |
1. Insecurity. The stadiums became unsafe. Pitch invasion, match violence, etc. 2. Organisation. The league suffered in the hands of NFA. No publicity (NPL was not on TV for a long while), corruption and match fixing was rife. 3. Consistency. Due to poor organisation, there was no sponsorship so the clubs weren't making money hence they the lacked form and consistency. Coaches and players jumped to other clubs as they will. Cote Divoire, Tunisia, SA, India and even Bangladesh got Nigerian players. Changing 100% of players year-in year-out makes the fanship of any of our clubs difficult. We don't know the bloody players! 4. Austerity. Na only man wey chop belle full go think about recreating with sports by going to the stadium to watch football. I think things have been getting better in recent times. I like Enyimba, but Aba is far my guy Is there any Lagos team? I remember there was a Julius Berger. |
chukwupoto:This is sth that shouldn't be happening anymore in Nigeria. You have no business warehousing cash, that is the duty of your bank. Get a POS machine next time. Your customers can pay with their cards through the terminal. For those that insist on cash, you can get rid of the cash by giving cash back services to card users. This way, you hold as little cash as possible. It is good for your business and health, it is best for our economy. |
Android pay you mean? Your bank and card type has to support it. I tried to enroll my TSB card it said it wasn't supported. So I think it'll only work with dual interface cards... |
Billyonaire:This Internet billionaire is back again. Useless post.

Funny how some people think beauty is only about Caucasian features --pointed nose and oblong face. |
Millage and location please? |
Hear hear. There can be nothing more factual. I know my people won't listen sha. I didn't too. What makes coming to the UK attractive to Nigerians is the simple admission process, no English language tests or GRE. If you're qualified, you'll be admitted. I know what usually runs through Nigerians minds when you advise them not to come is, "he is in the UK enjoying, look at how fat his cheeks have become and he's telling me not to come. Wicked boy". |
