Switch from Chemistry to Health Sciences instead.

Your background in Chemistry should give you a foundation for Health Sciences. You are already familiar with chemical composition, you can easily understand the drugs. For you to have graduated Chemistry, you must have drawn so many molecular diagrams, therefore, you will be able to handle diagrams in Health Sciences.

Chemical Engineering is a different thing entirely. If you had studied Chemical Engineering, your mindset will be different from a Chemistry graduate. Where you would have been applying to work by now will be different. Your approach to the job market will be different. You cannot switch now. You will just be a black sheep lost in the crowd. Pick Health Sciences instead.

Hello good morning

I once had an issue with my car not being able to start but the lights were coming on. I got a roadside mechanic and he tried checking the fuse, kick, and it all, he said they were all fine. He had to run a wire from the kick to the battery so I was able to move pending when I get a rewire.

My mechanic took it and got it fixed up but not up to a month again, I wanted to start the car day before yesterday and noticed a 2 seconds delay. I decided to put it off and on again with another 2-3 seconds delay. Tried putting it on again, but it wasn't able to come on. the lights were just on.

I ran a wire like before from the kick to the battery to start it.

Any idea of what can be done or what is causing this issue?

My mechanic noted the rewire will check to see what is making the fuse fail when I bring it

Issue may be with the starter or live wire to the starter.

If starter was failing and was "serviced" by rewire, then it has failed again.

Replace starter.

A 250k mile car with oil changes every 5k miles is in far better shape than a 100k mile car with only 3 oil changes.

Some of them change weekly self depending on how many round-trips done.

They do not generally exceed 5k miles.

Rivers to abj guys change after every 4th or 5th round trip.

Let me start from the beginning and be detailed.

I drive a sienna 2000, the document is in my mum's name and the driver license and documents share same surname.

I was hauling 50 cartons of biscuit the receipt is in my name, you can't know I am carrying biscuit unless you peep into the vehicle and no my glass is clear not tinted. I hope we are on the same page?

I was flagged down by yellow fever women, I parked and greet ask for my documents and I handed it over, she now said where is your hackney permit I told her it's my personal car a private vehicle she now flared up that she was gonna delay me fuming and all but my passenger a female talked to her and she let us go Sha.

Before that one, VIO stopped me at Epe and asked for all ask able lights (reverse, brake, side indicator etc) after they saw my paper was complete I was carrying full load my friends from work, they now said I had a private number and was running commercial operation, I explained to him Sha and he asked me to indicate names of some passenger, when I said a funny nickname of one passenger he laughed and asked me to go.

I have noticed that sometimes when I reach bus stops some agbero would also run banging the car saying "make we shadow, shey make we shadow" even passengers do rush to the door shouting all kinds of area.

Interestingly, this question was posed today by a logistics manager.

Nigeria is indeed a failed country.

There is no law that requires private vehicle to have a hackney permit.

Hackney permit is issued to commercial (red number) vehicles only.

The law makes a provision for that and the issuing authority issues that permit along with other vehicle documents.

Vehicles (Toyota Hilux, sienna, ford f150, Tacoma, tundra, haice bus, etc) registered for private use are not required by law to have hackney permit.

There is no Nigerian law that automatically confers commercial status to the above listed vehicles if the owner expressly requests and registers such a vehicle for private use.

The road traffic act is very clear on this issue yet we have overzealous security agencies and touts (enabled and emboldened by the inactions and tacit support of these agencies) enforcing hackney permit on these set of private vehicles.

I expected you to know better.

The law is the law.

The vehicle licensing agency is well within their rights to withdraw or demand a vehicle registration is changed from private to public if it deems the owner of such a vehicle is using it for commercial purposes. They have no right within the law to demand for hackney permit for a private vehicle.

I was disappointed going through this page.

This noise becomes louder when I turn the steering wheel.

Air is getting into your steering system. Have a mechanic trace the leak and sort it out. It may eventually lead to the failure of your power steering pump.

Try this:

Go to a good panel beater, ask him to construct a catalyst for you. If he knows his onions, he'll use nets (iron nets) to make up for it.

I suffered a similar fate last year when my catalyst was bad and it was removed. The consumption rate was mad until a mechanic told me about it and it works very well.

My engine is V6, you can understand what that means.
