This submission is a case study of the WASTAGE that goes on in the Nigerian public sector...
Justices go to international conferences with their spouses and both are paid estacode in dollars? Why?!

Time to get rid of this so-called “estacode”, which is an anachronism of British colonial era civil service. In most civilized
/advanced countries, when you travel on official business you simply submit your bills and all REASONABLE expenses are refunded. Meanwhile, in Nigeria, between official house, official car, servants, free newspapers, estacode, travel allowance, etc., we waste all of our revenue on sustaining less than 0.5% of our population in government, while the other 99.5% of the population has to make do with a minuscule budgetary amount left over for capital investment in physical and social infrastructure (roads, schools, hospitals, etc.). Since this akubundu took over she has been owing contractors for 3yrs - while the FG has released nothing less than 500m to the office, - she would come only when the fG release overhead expenditure funds like today - or if she hears they have release capital expenditure funds- she would bring all manners of vouchers and receipts for retirement of her "so-called" courtesy visits- (because she has the sgf in her pocket- if you report the matter, it would be thrown out, or they would quickly call her to attended to the matter- the man never see fine girl before) and bring all the umu ada's of her village and say she is doing a special program - steal all the money and go away again - she has stolen the office into redundancy and oblivion, she initially came with a routine of illegal staff to see if she could use them to siphon money - quote me anywhere the staff expenses have also been stolen- a staff was supposed to go for appendicitis operation the office was supposed to support the staff with N100k - she collected the money put receipt in the staff file and the poor man is walking around in pain
Who NEPAD ‘epp?
Time to get rid of all these multiple MDAs that we only hear about at budget time! SMH

This is was a state ravaged by Boko Haram insurgence for years. The govt of the statement is rebuilding world class infrastructure. See below world view primary and secondary school buildings.

My Southern and Eastern brothers have been radicalized into penury considering the huge monthly allocation and oil derivations to the region. Yet the region is just a big village. Clutching on to monster leaders who serve the people crumbs
Bros, those schools are being built by international donors and the Northeast Fund (under Danjuma) raised by Nigerian donors...
Good schools, but that is only hardware (and the relatively easier part), the software (good teachers/staff) are the MOST IMPORTANT part.

Honestly I admire northern governors in every aspect except education sector. Our leaders down south will only blame one northerner, religion or political party for their failures yet we the so called educated followers will keep on voting for failure because we hate the people in other party.
BROS, EDUCATION IS THE FOUNDATION (AND LIES AT THE VERY CORE) OF ALL DEVELOPMENT!

It’s relatively easy to buy factories (or even sign contracts for roads), especially if you are using someone’s money, but ultimately those factories will have to be operated and maintained by an educated or skilled workforce - or what usually happens to most Nigerian government projects will happen to them. Those Ganduje flyovers/roads that you admire will not be maintained by the army of uneducated Almajiri kids roaming the streets begging bowls in hand. Sadly, it seems that many Nigerians misunderstand the very basic concept of development.

The NPF has told you what they are looking for. Once you understand that none of the people bitching online will stand with you when it comes down to it, then you do the needful. When the words were out that some people are stealing female pants, most went on the defensive to protect themselves. Forewarned is forearmed. Words are our now that NPF are looking for losers with tattoos and dreads, why can't people take precautionary measures not to become easy targets?

Moving on, I see the way Nigerian girls dress because they watch too much of American movies. If you dress like that walking down the street, you will definitely get cat calls from men, some will honk at you and the police may harass you for possible prostitution. Yep! And I live in California where it is supposed to be going down.

Just give the police nails and hammer to be nailing these folks to the cross.

From the dreaded Yakuza in Japan, Triad in China, Cosa Nostra in Italy, Crips and Blood of Los Angeles, Mexican MS-13 and other notable criminal organizations in the world, tattoos feature prominently in their identification.

Police works involve profiling criminals. They are not magicians. The word is out that the police is out for those with tattoos and dreads. You can be smart and dress responsibly or listen to wailers online and end up 6ft under. You may not be a criminal but you have chosen to dress and appear as one. Like they say, impression matters. The only thing we can do for you then is tweet #EndSARS for about three days and life goes on. The choice is yours.

Tattoos also feature prominently in others’ identity.

Although not by way of generality, one can establish by observation that dread and tattoo carrying boys or girls display higher level of delequent acts.

No child with decent home tranning engage in this. Hence we can say it's not part of our culture (total way of life of a particular people).
Most of those Agberos/touts under the bridge neither have dreadlocks nor tattoos....

Culture na somehow overrated,,complex and complicated topic...
We are in a dynamic world.. Wat u may see as ur way of life yesterday
might be discarded today for another way of life... Today's culture might be rendered invalid by tomorrow's own,,, and by next tomorrow we might even revert back to yesterday's culture.
E dey fluctuate..

But we must advocate for an equilibrium point between extreme conservatism and unchecked liberalism in order to protect our society from anarchy. It's all about finding the right balance!

Las Las Oga police calm down... Omotola should also chill....
Agree! Culture has NEVER been static...

Rather, culture is always EVOLVING (one reason why we don’t throw away twins these days in some parts of the country). Nonetheless, dreadlocks and tattoos (from Uli to henna) have virtually always been in our culture.

Honestly I hate seeing a young person on that rubbish dreadlocks. Or tattoo. Especially that devilish dreadlock.
What’s “devilish” about hair in its most NATURAL state?

Personally still do not get the attraction in covering one’s body with tattoos (and wonder if these people that it would not be a pretty sight when they eventually get old and wrinkly), but I am also tolerant enough to respect (and humble enough not to arrogate to myself the arbiter of) other people’s personal tastes and preferences (so long it hurts no-one else). What we wear or put on our bodies (including tattoos) and/or how we wear our hair (including dreadlocks) are merely an expression of our individuality, and it is variety and diversity in human tastes and preferences that not only makes life interesting but which also often leads to the continuous recreation/rethinking of the world we live in.

Live and let live people!
