chinazor006:By your logic, it's also okay if a bank has not paid you interest on a fixed deposit and you decided to go to the ATM, crack it open and carry away the money inside? Simpletons like you must understand, you cannot fight the government or any of its entities through aggression unless it is done via the court of law. Ubah is very rich, he can afford all the legal counsel he needs, why jeopardize his freedom? |
In 1984, appliances such as hot plates, DVD home theater, flat screen tvs and air conditioners were not used. It was your light bulb, fan and music player. If you were lucky a small black and white tv. The average energy consumption has gone up all over the world so the 5000 that you are paying is a reflection of the amount of energy consumed. If you want to save yourself unneeded headache, get a prepaid meter, that is when you'll thank the lord for using that 5000 Naira to cover your yansh ![]() |
Curiouscity:In a sane country, more wealthy folks would drive themselves but in a country like Nigeria, one cannot form big man for road, an experienced driver is the key. This none just mumu, nowadays we have GPS trackers, automatic engine shut off mechanisms and so on. |
Bmfunso:What's the price? |
APC is a failure, PDP failed and Labor party.....exists? IF APC kidnapped those girls under the nose of a PDP led government and all the intelligence, security and special forces being controlled by the PDP led government could not fish them out and redeem their image then what are we talking about here? I could care less if those girls were kidnapped or were just kept to make GEJ look bad, what bothers me is that the top man in the country watched as his image was tarnished and did NOTHING about it! |
allrightsir:Oga no need for epistle! Answer the simple question, if you found yourself in such a position, would you do any better? Fashola is a SAN, a very experienced public servant. He is not like the average politicians familiar with Nigerians. He has his flaws and shortcomings but do not criticize blindly, his flaws does not take away from his educational and professional achievements. I called him a bright mind because he raised the bar of excellence in Lagos state despite 40% of the income of Lagos going to Tinubu. I agree he is not the only bright mind and yes there are those brighter than him but I put it to you even the brightest of minds would become a nonentity under the current Nigerian political/governmental landscape! It takes much more than a bright mind to succeed in Nigeria, it takes guts, spiritual backings and lots of sleepless nights! |
allrightsir:Are you any brighter than him? Put in the same position, would you do any better? |
Nonsense, let the woman be buried in Canada and rest! What's all this rubbish! |
Very good decision, this country has a way of making the brightest look like a nonentity e.g- Fashola! |
You forget one very IMPORTANT factor, MONEY! If the father was wise and saved up for his own retirement, then any child that ignores him would only look silly! It is the job of a father to be a disciplinarian, to be a provider and a guardian. Your father does not have to be your padi, he does not have to hold your hand and turn you into a sissy! Men, until you have a family of your own you would never understand all that your father did for you; just go and ask those whose father abandoned them as a child, how they wish for any father, even a mean angry one. Fathers take care of your family but also plan well for your old age, these new generation of children are very wicked so you must ensure not to be a liability to them, forget about them paying you back for your hard work; favor from God is the ultimate reward! |

Poor people's problem! The rich or financially capable are well aware of the importance of life and wouldn't dare patronize quacks called chemists for anything injection related! |
This happened in America, Atlanta to be precise so let her rest assured an autopsy can be carried out to show what caused the death. If nothing was found then she can come to a valid conclusion that her village people got him but if they found that he was poisoned then it is a simple case. |
solasoulmusic: I keep saying it's psychological it's not something another person causes it's something ingrained in the fabric of your childhood spilling into your adulthood -unexpressed anger it comes out as violence, dominance and egotism. One thing I can say is the downside of managing one is that you will exhibit these same traits sometimes and start treating everyone around you the same way with little or no interaction on their part.I must disagree with you on this part only, it is extremely hard for humans to hold back when repeatedly provoked. Let's forget about men, let's look at the way women react when another woman is trying to snatch their partner, they would plan for the woman and either beat the hell out of her or have someone give her a serious warning. Now let's look at how some women react when their partner cheats on them and they caught the guy in the act, most women go off and in that moment can do and undo. It happens regardless of your wealth or social upbringings. I just believe it is human nature to get angry when provoked, some of us have trained ourselves to use coping mechanism such as drinking, smoking, staying away and so on to avoid physical confrontations while others are yet to attain that level. This has nothing to do with childhood experiences or upbringing, I as a product of Mushin remain very calm when provoked but I know deep down inside I have the ability to destroy when I'm pushed to the wall, at the same time I have friends who are sons of pastors and imams with spectacular upbringing but have somehow found themselves in domestic violence situations. May God help us all! |
There are many reasons a man could go off on a woman but the man should also think of some reasons not to, such as the fear of God, the heftiness of her siblings and his social image. All these cases of domestic violence boils down to three things: 1: They are all repeated incidents. The man did not just wake up one day and start beating, it has occurred many times in the past, who is to blame is not important; what is important here is that the victim chose to STAY! 2: Apparently the women don't have parents and/or siblings. Any woman with a good family would not sit back and let the man get away with it. Try beating the youngest sibling of 6 hefty brothers ![]() 3: I've never seen a case where both sides are heard truthfully. It is always the woman with bloody face, nose or body caused by a guy that just woke up and started beating them. A lot of these women would never say things such as: I slapped my husband and he retaliated or I cheated on him and he broke my head. Even tho domestic violence has no excuse, it helps to know the context for which it happened ![]() |
It saddens me to see that some people still believe in this crap despite the horrid state of the Nigerian labor market. Graduating with good grades is all good and dandy but don't think it's the end of the world if you don't! The Nigerian labor market is such that 70% of fresh graduates would either be unemployed or underemployed within their first 5 years. In the same amount of time, a wise person would pursue skills and business ideas capable of fetching millions. Oh and let's not forget about networking, with good networking, your low grades could earn you a job at one of the top companies. A friend of mine graduated with third class and was really down about it to the point of contemplating suicide, he was unemployed for 2 years but luckily he found favor with his uncle who now heads a specific ministry in Lagos State's government. The guy now controls those that graduated with much better results...CPGA my a**! |
Wolexpoly: Her baby daddy is even somebody's husbandIf this is what you call appropriate then you need a mental evaluation! |
LordReed:I'm not concerned because if he is guilty then I expect the law to take its course, being president can never be greater than the good of the country! |
NwaObinkita:For real? Someone just died and you post this nonsense? Not cool bro, not cool ![]() |
luckyCO:I concur! May God help us all! |
AZeD1:Why can't you people read before commenting. Here's a hint, go back and read what I wrote, now do you see where I stated comparing the news on CNN with that of FOX and then forming an objective opinion? It works both ways you know! I don't know why you Nigerians are in such a rush, fara bale jor! |
nijascammers:Cool...I doubt it, she attends old mama church ![]() |
nijascammers:Lawrenceville? My mom stays there actually, close to cruse road. |
nijascammers:Focus kid, focus! If you read what I wrote properly, you would see that I'm not favoring one over the other. I agree with Trump that most media are bias including FOX and CNN, this is why in order to be objective you must compare and contrast, don't be a sheep kid, emancipate yourself! |
nijascammers:I live and work just outside of Atlanta, you can come and visit me at work or at home in the Dunwoody area. |
nijascammers:See why I call you a kid, MSNBC, CNN, liberal news agencies are your sources and you expect objective journalism? Watch a little bit of FOX, Breitbart and compare it with MSNBC and CNN, if it matches up then the news is real, if it doesn't then it is all liberal propaganda! |
nijascammers:U.S is now your home? Pele o, what should those of us that have been here for years do? Lol....kids say the darnedest things ![]() |
nijascammers:Kid stick to topics you understand, you have zero knowledge of how America's democracy works so just sharrap! |
I'm not surprised majority of those replies on his tweets were Obama supporters and liberal snowflakes. FACT remains that a guilty verdict is needed in both the HOUSE and the SENATE to remove a sitting president, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!! |
Crestedguy4real:Verbal attack my guy! You condemned a guy that condemned another guy, seems like kettle calling pot black! This is a forum, opinions are highly welcomed. Sorry I don't subscribe to your philosophy, it's because people are afraid to criticize that we find ourselves in this mess of a situation right now in 9ja. In any advanced country, a man pops out of nowhere with huge amount of cash, spends lavishly and is well known but mysteriously no one knows what he did to get such wealth. In such countries the feds would be all over him but in 9ja because suffering has blindsided so many, we hail fraudsters, criminals, druggies and so on. |
Crestedguy4real:In a country where polithiefians, yahoo boys and drug dealers are worshiped, I'm not surprised you attack someone for saying his or her honest opinion! |
Where are all those shouting no man should ever raise his hands on a woman, see your life? A quick slap or two would have reset her brain! Seriously tho, men be wise no situation is too hard to get out of, if your wife nags you and you can't seem to calm her just divorce sharp sharp, life is too short. For women, if a man hits you, feel free to leave also abeg love no be by force o ![]() |
